The medical shelter wasn't far off at all from the colosseum like Raylen thought it might. Just a few yards away was a tent-like hut, with cloth covering the entrance, and a large green "+" sign on it. The paladin pushed aside the fabric doorway to find a small area with a few chairs, a hospital bed, and a few tables with medical supplies. Frowning, Raylen muttered under his breath, "What, do we need to do this all ourselves?" He supposed it would kinda make sense since it's a virtual reality game, but still. The holy knight doffed his armor and padded shirt and began applying ointment and bandages to his wounds. The paladin found he was much more muscular here than in real life, but hey, he wasn't complaining.
Most of Raylen's wounds were on parts where there was solely padding instead of armor, such as around his elbows or his face, but he found a large cut on his collarbone. It wasn't deep enough to leave a scar, if scars even existed in this game, but it was damn tricky to patch up. Just in the middle of bandaging himself up, one of the other players poked their head into the hut. It was the girl who came in a bit late. Raylen looked over his shoulder to respond, "Yeah, I'm over here! Were you hurt?"

The light from outside versus inside made Reliza squint to adjust to the dimmest of the room. Even in Virtual reality, the change of light from outside to inside were realistic. "Fortunately no, but I'm sure if I had joined the battle sooner I would be pretty badly wounded such as yourself." She said while entering the tent. Stopping in front of him she extended her hand towards him. "Pleased to be of acquaintance, I am Reliza." she glanced at the cut on his collarbone. I wonder if I should help with that... she silently thought to herself.
Raylen gave a smile as she entered. He didn't have a problem being alone, but company is always nice. The knight waved off her first comment, saying, "Oh it's nothing. None of the cuts run deep, and it's my job to protect the others," He shook her hand, responding with "Nice to meet you, too. My name is... Raylen." The paladin took a while to decide if he should use his real name, but he might as well use the name he gave himself. He had just finished applying ointment to the wound on his collarbone, and was struggling to wrap the bandage around himself, just unable to reach all the way around his back. "Hey, uh... this might be a weird question, but could you help me out with this? The others are probably waiting, and this would be faster if I had some assistance."

Itachi flow in the air readying his next attack. But as he did so a cloud of dust fell over everyone, so he had no clue what he was aiming at and didn't want to hit anyone. Holding back his attack the dust faded and so did the Hare. He was relieved that the fight was over but wanted more honestly he wanted to fight to become better. He really wanted to have everyone stay in the arena and feed for Experience so that he could level up and become stronger. But, Itachi knew that they had to progress so he didn't bring it up to the group.
Itachi heard Savage's pun and made a small smile hoping no one saw his face. Itachi wasn't too fond of Savage has he was a threat to him possibly getting with Revon. Reliza might also be a threat, but let her slide for now, as she was on her way to the med bay to be with Raylen.
Subconsciously as Itachi thought about Revon he started to float towards him and in no time Itachi was right next to Revon. Replying to Savage, “I'm all good here thanks for asking.” then he turned towards Revon blurting out “Are you sure you are okay? I can check you for scratches.” getting closer and looking up and down Revons body.
At that moment Itachi had a small flashback of a time in the real world. He was flirting with this girl at his lunch table when some bullies came from another table and started calling him names and that he was only trying to get with her to cover up his sexuality, which wasn't true. Itachi was a well-mannered kid and didn't really bother anyone, so he was in shock when these kids were bullying him. Later that week one of them cornered him in the hall, but weirdly no one was around. He told me that he was gay and that he was sorry for bullying me. But, I couldn't trust him and that it would take some time. Then the next day he came out to the entire school. I was standing right in front of him when he did it so to prove it to everyone he kissed me. I stood back and looked this man up and down.
I snapped out of it, but I wasn't sure for how long and now I wasn't sure why I felt like this blank spot in my memory was gone. All I knew is that this hunk of man in front of me had to be mine.
(( The next choice is going to be held back until tomorrow. Sorry for the road bump, everyone! Halloween prep was a lot more work than I expected :( Good news is that you'll have a week and a half to think carefully and decide on your choice! ))
"Sure no problem," Reliza said approaching his back. She carefully began applying the bandage to his back carefully. She noticed the amazing graphic settings the game had implemented. "So did this hurt as bad as it looks?" she asked with some curiosity. "I'm sure the next battle or in the future our battles will be tougher and more than just one person would be hurt." she decided to add quickly to her question.
(( Here's your next choice, everyone! You will have until Sunday the 13th to make your choice! Although, if all of you decide on an action plan, we can see the results sooner. Have fun fighting this one ;) ))
"Hey guys I'm back! I went to go have some food how are you-"
The young lady, the doctor's "assistant" came on suddenly through the air.
"Stupid me forgot to put on the healing buff. S-sorry, knight guy!"
She muttered to herself, either oblivious that the speaker was still on or she didn't really care if you all heard.
"There! Healing buff is on, you should recover soon enough. You regenerate your health without the buff at 0.5% per minute in real time, so your HP should be close if not maxed by the time you all head over to the next arena with the buff active. It cuts the healing time by a lot. I, uh, suggest you start moving on your way now. Especially those of you who are still in the arena. Ok?"
You glance over to the horizon and see some sort of building in the distance. Your heartbeat gets faster and you try to hide your giddiness from the others as you make your way there at a slightly faster than average walking pace. The close you get to it, the more it resembles a dilapidated barn or farm.
Oh boy, what monster would you fight this time? Some pitchfork wielding fiend? A maniacal scarecrow? Maybe it was something completely different, like an alien, or a whole group of them!
You walk through the front of the nearly broken door, and peruse around the empty house. It's a shame that the inside was so basic compared to the outside. Just some untextured tables and chairs. Disappointed, you keep walking through the house hoping to find something, and you glance out through the window briefly before rushing to the back door of the farmhouse.
An enormous fenced off pasture laid behind the ruined house. You were quite sure that this was even larger than your first arena, the coliseum. It was in much of the same state as the house, though the fence looked very new and very sharp, obviously trying to contain whatever was inside. Strangely enough, nothing was in the gigantic pasture, except one chicken. Was the boss even in here? Maybe it was invisible? You consult your peers on the matter but before they have a chance to hear their response, the young assistant chimed in again.
"Delores has always been my favourite. She won't really hurt you too much unless you guys tick her off. But even then, I'd say that those with the low defense would need to get hit uhh, like 5 times? And you speedy guys are in for it, she's faster than you, heh! Info should pop up for you once you analyze her. Have fun! I need to go tell Doc he's gonna have fun watching this."
No. Nooooo. She wasn't serious, was she?
Delores
You have the following choices: A. Do nothing and see was Delores can do. B. Chase after her and see how she moves. C. Well, you can't outrun her, why not just try attacking? D. Maybe it's a case of monkey see monkey do? Try and uh, act like... a chicken...
(( I'm definitely going to enjoy this round, and I hope you guys do too! :P ))
Raylen slightly turned his head so he could just see Reliza () out of the corner of his eye. "Huh? Oh, no. I think my armor protected me from most of the rabbit's attacks, and it got me at a weird angle, so it's not too deep." Surprisingly, even though they were in a game the wound still stung. It was scary to think what might happen if they were to lose a life. The paladin turned his head to look forward once again after the girl quickly added her next sentence, "That's what I'm afraid of... Most of the others have a low defense stat, which means they can be downed in a single hit if they mess up." At this point his cut was securely bandaged. "Thanks for the help." He said to Reliza with a smile as he began to stand.
Raylen looked to his health/armor bar and frowned. Although ointment was applied and his wounds were all patched up, he didn't seem to be healing much, if at all. Suddenly, the doctor's assistant came back on the intercom, announcing that she forgot about the healing buff for those who were damaged. The knight took a long, annoyed sigh whilst putting his padded gambeson back on. Once he put the rest of his armor on, he opened the cloth doorway and adjusted his eyes for a moment before holding the entrance open. "After you." He said politely to the horned girl who helped patch him up.
As Raylen neared the barn he was certain of the "maniacal scarecrow" idea. Maybe with a wicked scythe and a murder of crows, but the boss was nowhere in sight. Raising an eyebrow, he explored the farm until he and the others came to a huge fenced area. The paladin's other eyebrow rose to meet its twin as he found the single chicken out in the open. Checking Delores' stats, his stomach sank in dread. High defense. Very high speed. Raylen has low speed. WHY? At this point, Raylen sits on the dirt ground. "You guys can handle this one. I literally can't do anything."
|~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|
Revon once again leaned away from the small winged boy () getting a bit too close to him. "Yeah, um. I'm okay, haha... I wasn't hit at all by the boss." The horned boy's laugh was quite a bit forced and uncomfortable, since he's never been in this situation, at least not with a guy. Being a cute young man from a wealthy family, girls usually flocked to Matthew, and most of the other guys tried to mooch off of him or simply didn't care enough to interact with Matt. Just in time, the assistant came back over the speaker, announcing that they should hurry over to the next area. Revon travelled with the rest of the group as they headed towards the farm on the black-and-white checkered horizon.
Revon stayed close to the knight in shining armor as they traversed through the farm. Eventually the white-haired boy came to Delores and was speechless. "Wha... Oh. Where... where's the boss?" The assistant came back over the speakers once again, announcing that the chicken is, in fact, the boss. At this point, the paladin dropped to the ground, already giving up on the challenge. "M...maybe I can slow it while you guys hit it? If I can even land something it in the first place..."

B.
Reliza frowned at Raylen's comment about the groups defensive stats. She was pretty sure she would take a beating in this battle but she didn't mind. Hopefully the thrill of the battle will make me forget. Reliza then laughed at the doctor's assistant. "She sounds fun." she said with a smile. As they both exited the tent, Reliza readjusted her eyes to the lighting. "I guess we are going to the barn then" She said before advancing towards it. She decided not to say anything as they approached the barn together, her mind was buzzing with many ideas of what they may be facing.
As Delores came into sight, Reliza smiled. "At least its uglier than us all." She looked at the stats of the chicken before deciding that chasing it would be a good idea to get a better idea of its speed. "I'll chase after it, and you guys can study what it does. Maybe we could pin or trap it somewhere to deal some damage later on." Reliza pulled her spear out, and split it in half by unlocking and twisting the center. By doing so, she could carry the spear around like two daggers but it also made it easier for her to carry. She tied her tail around her hip like a belt to ensure it wouldn't be flapping around in the wind.
"Since no one can out run this hen, just chasing her should be fine." Reliza said while adjusting her hair. She looked over to Revon "Since your speed is much higher, I'll be right behind you but I don't think I'll be able to land a hit in the first place. I'll save my attack for later, but I'll be here to support you if you need it." She said before preparing to take a sprint. "Is anyone else going to join us?" She said looking over to the group.
(( )) After exploring the seemingly abandoned farmhouse, Savage followed the others into the fenced area out back. For the most part, there wasn't anything there either except a single chicken. The skeletal-themed man pretty much overlooked the creature as he scanned around for something more threatening. It wasn't until the announcement that it was revealed that the domesticated bird was their next challenger.
"Wait...what? No way. We have to fight this hen?," Savage spoke, sounding genuinely confused, not sure if it was a joke. However, the chicken did have stats. Delores had a great defense and an even more impressive speed stat. "Oh...wow. Delores, you're kind of overpowered for a chicken," he cocked his head at the bird, mumbling a bit to himself. He looked around to the others. A few of them seem to have resigned to the bird's speed. It really didn't look like any of them could out-speed her.
"Attack her? I already felt bad about fighting that hare, I don't know about attacking Delores. Personally, I try not to hit chicks when possible...even if this is just virtual," he responded, almost serious in his tone. "But I guess we have to in order to move on? Anyway, I want to see what she can do first. You guys can chase her, I'll just watch," he decided, figuring they didn't need a lot of people chasing an untouchable chicken.
(( ))
Itachi was taken back by the fact that his flirting was not working on the Revon. But, at least he tried and decided to back off for awhile and focus on the game. The assistant came on the speaker and announced they were moving to the new boss area, he was very excited to see the new boss. As he approached the horizon he saw a barn in the distance he immediately thought they were going to fight the Headless Horseman, but then as he rounded the back of the barn he saw that is was only a chicken. But, he knew that you should never trust what you see until the actual battle.
"Guys I don't think we should take this lightly, this chicken could possibly mutate or cause something to show its true form. Why would they have such a huge fenced in area just for one chicken?" Itachi stressed to the team hoping it would get their minds thinking. He continued to study the chicken reading its stats and trying to figure out the best plan of action.
Itachi then suggested after hearing Reliza's plan, "What if I inclose it in a ring of fire so that it has a small area to run around in, giving you guys a bigger accuracy window." He thought this might be the only way. 'But, obviously some of us didn't want to try.' thinking to himself as he watched Raylen sit on the ground.
(( @ Vintage888 @ BonKo @ ItachiSiller ))
"Mutate?," Savage chuckled at the idea. "You're right. We probably shouldn't get cock-y and underestimate this chicken. But I think it's too soon to hatch a real plan without knowing how this thing moves or fight first. So let's ruffle her feathers. I think for now, having some of us chase her around is a good start," Savage spoke rather solemnly, but had a satisfied smirk on his face. "Then, once we know what we're up against practically, we can come up with a better plan. I don't want to tick her off too much by attacking her yet. If someone else wants to volunteer, be my guest. I just want to observe for now," he added. "But I'm not against the ring of fire idea. We'll at least see if fire will contain her... also, slightly in the mood for fried chicken now," Savage trailed off at the end there.
The man glanced back at Delores. "I don't know about her having a true final form. You don't think she's menacing enough already?," Savage grinned. "C'mon, look at the vicious, totally threatening chicken. She looks ready to peck our eyes out," he joked, although, at the same time, being half serious.
Reliza turned back to look at savage and rolled her eyes. "Oh boy you are a punny one aren't you." The puns were pretty clever and it kept her amused for the time being but she didn't want to get distracted too much, this hen would mean serious business soon enough. She looked over to Itachi who suggested a fire circle. "Though its a good idea, it would also be a good idea if we all stick together to pull a fire circle off. We wouldn't want anyone left out on the outside of the circle unable to join in on the fight. Also once we know what this chicken is capable of, we could totally group up and make a smaller circle to trap this hen in a much smaller space. Hopefully her wings won't put it out." She turned back to the hen still sure that she would chase the hen down to see what its capable of.
(( Today's the last day to make, or change, your choice! By tonight I'll have the next exciting piece of our tale as our brave fighters try and outsmart Delores :P ))
Amarosa looked at the chicken with disbelief, but she knew that this thing was probably worse than it looked. She contemplated her choices, and tried to be optimistic despite the fact she couldn't use her best skill against the enemy. Instead, she decided she would wait and see what the chicken would do. ((amarosa chooses A))

(( Having fun with Delores yet? :P Your next decision will be due on Sunday! Have fun until then ;) ))
All your decisions have been made, and it was now the time to set your plan into motion.
Reliza and Savage
The further you two walk into the fowl's territory, it appeared the more agitated she became. It wasn't much, but you could tell her feathers were starting to ruffle, and she began to make a clucking sound. You both decide to stop when she starts scratching at the ground and her clucking is now turning into a yelp instead. "We're ready!"
Not a second later, the fire wall came up, and all hell broke loose. You both chase after her to see what she does.
Revon and Itachi
The ring of fire went ablaze around the hen, alarming her immediately. Reliza and and Savage stood there as she panicked, trying to find the middle spot between the fire and the two warriors. The frenzy only worsened when Revon's attack shot at her, with a lucky hit. Unfortunately now she was, well, being Delores I guess. She ran around the circle with no pattern, trying to avoid all the obstacles.
Raylen and Amarosa
Everyone
Delores suddenly turned her direction right to the fire. But... she was going straight for it! Why would she?
The fowl ran straight through the ring of fire, taking damage. Smart. Now she was on the outside.
Things looked grim. Delores was all over the place and too fast. And, why did she run for the outside of the circle? She did get damaged, although her health still wasn't all that bad. Was the fire wall the worst option of the three? Wait... what were your elements? Maybe that has something to do with why she chose the fire?
Everybody regrouped by the farm door, tired. Nobody got hit, which is good, and your bodies weren't all that tired. Maybe it was just draining mentally? Either way, you all took a look at the field once more, examining it carefully. Nothing was much different apart from the singed circle of dirt and hay from Itachi's fire. I mean, ranged attacks worked since Delores didn't move until provoked or if she saw someone, but it would take forever. Did you all really have time for that?
Well... what do you do now?
You have the following choices: A. There's small hay bales all around. Maybe do something with those! B. Delores goes all over the place... maybe make the fence around the arena a weapon? You do have elemental powers after all. C. Long range attack! If you can hit her... D. Nobody has tried defending yet. Could this do something?
(( ))
Things went sort of how Savage imagined it would go. Delores was fast. It was one thing to see the stats and another thing to actually try and chase her. "Well, that went well," Savage commented, putting on a exaggerated grin to reinforce his sarcasm. "But, at least now we know what we're dealing with...sort of. That gal is fast," Savage is leaned against the outer wall of the farm house, waiting to see if anyone had any suggestions. "We're going to need to corner her somehow, any ideas?," he asked. He started twirling his Escrima sticks as he tried to think of something. The electricity from the sticks sparked and crackled as he spun them.
The man's eyes then fell onto the bales of hay scattered around. "Hmm, or maybe if she doesn't see us coming, we'll have a better shot at this. Maybe we could use those to provide cover somehow?" Savage then focused on the fence surrounding the place. "We could electrify the fence. So if she gets anywhere near it, she'll be zapped like a bug."
((OOC: Things are subeta are about to get hectic for me. but i will continue to do the RP as much as I can.))
Itachi gets ready for a long ranged attack.
(( Extending the due date until the 27th, since it looks like you're all busy ^_^ ))
The chicken might be able to run, but how high could it jump? Amarosa looked out at the hay bales and began to arrange them into a square shape. "Maybe we could trap her here? Using the bales like a cage? Then we can attack without her running everywhere?" (Amarosa chooses A)
