Outings has always been one of my favorite things about summer! The latest one was a ride away from our home. The sand was white and the beach stretches out in the ocean. I could swim far and still touch the bottom - it was quite a different experience. My dad pointed out a starfish and the water was clear enough to see the bottom. My sister and I picked up sea shells by the shore, something that we've always done since we were kids. Though it was very hot, the cool water had more than made up for it! There was live music too so that was very nice!

Share your dream beach destination! My dream beach destination... To be honest, I would really just love a nice quiet beach. Somewhere with not much people where I can relax and just enjoy the breeze and the scenery.

Another great summer tradition is our end of summer water balloon bash. We order a bunch of those bundles and this year several have colors that will show up on your white t-shirts. Tonight is the night! Of course night swimming to happen afterward and then tomorrow is first day of school!

Favorite thing about summertime: Honestly, I love that it's warm haha. I am not a person who enjoys the cold, I love summer and the warmth it brings (even if my favorite holiday is in the fall).

Share your dream beach destination: Tahiti. Or possibly Hawaii. But really Tahiti. My cousin went there for her honeymoon and it's beautiful and you can stay in little cabanas out over the water and it's clean and beautiful.

Tell me your favorite birthday traditions: Honestly, my favorite is really just to have my extended family with me. We eat some pizza usually (because there's too many of us to cook) and have cake and just spend time together. Also, we have a tradition for the first birthday where we make a lamb cake (it's like, a fully sitting up molded lamb) for them. It's been done since my mom and aunt and uncles were babies, possibly longer.

My dream beach destination is New Zealand because for me it will always be Middle Earth and the home of Hercules and Xena. It's an island so there must be great beaches too.

Maybe I should start something new this decade.: We just get together go out to dinner where ever the Birthday person wants to go.Have cake or whatever the person wants for there birthday.Some times it's a cheese cake or a pie.You never know Lol We just try to make that day special for the person who is having the birthday.

So I'm going to enter a mermaid HA anyway just for fun even if all we needed was one HA. :)

One of my favorite things about the summer time is how bright and sunny it is out. I also love going to the pool though I have yet to do it all summer and it is already over :( I bet she would love to relax in a pool too!

My dream beach destination is going back to Mexico or going to a beach in Europe. I love all inclusive resorts so going to a beach with one of those would be awesome!

Some of my favorite birthday traditions have to include going out to eat lol. I also get taken some where to eat, I love food! Also recently a b-day tradition I do for my husband, our birthdays are three days apart, is take him to a new brewery every year. He loves beer and the first year I did it, it was a huge surprise, now we do it every year and its lots of fun!

One of my favourite things: I am a water baby at heart so for me any excuse to play in water makes me happy. At the beach, pool or at a water park :D

Dream destination: One of my dearest and oldest friends is from Trinidad and Tobago and I would love to go back there with her and visit the beaches there. She has told me such wonderful stories of the country but I have never had the chance to visit and she hasn't been back there in over 10 years!

Birthday Traditions: I'm not sure we have one besides spending time with family. If it is a 'big' birthday we tend to have a party where we get as many family and friends involved as possible. Normal birthdays just tend to involve the birthday person choosing where to go out for food.
