One week from today, I'll be having a birthday! Birthdays are best when there's cake and friends! I love the ocean and the many gorgeous watery themed items on subeta make me happy, so I picked out some little gifts to share with you guys! Nothing too epic, but I hope you'll have fun nonetheless.

When it comes to summer time, I love ice! Ice and ice and more ice. And beach vacations but those are far and few in between. My dream beach would be a small sand beach somewhere on a greek island with not much people. And this is my mermaid HA: As for holiday traditions, I had aquite simple one when still living with my family. The one whose birthday it was selected a restaurant where we all would go to and eat and have fun.

If mermaids and oceans are your thing, this fun event isfor you!

Ooh I love this idea! The prizes are awesome! I don't know how to save my HA but I would love to enter the one I am wearing right now. Is there any way to capture it?

Favorite beach story: My family rented a beach house on the Gulf Coast of Texas two different Spring breaks! My daughter's best friends and their kids joined us. I loved sitting out on the balcony and watch the sunrise and sunset. I grew up down on the coast and it's wonderful to go back when I can. My knees prevent me from walking too much on the sand but I enjoyed watching the kids play in the surf and enjoyed a much needed break while taking care of my family and friends. We watched movies, played games and generally relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. We will for sure be doing it again in the near future!

My favorite thing about summer is Night Swimming! I am unable to be in the sun due to blood pressure meds so I do all my swimming after the sun goes down. I love to surprise my grandkids by throwing glow sticks in the pool and then sneaking into their bedrooms late at night and singing: Night swimming, night swimming... we know how to do it! to the tune of the BeeGees Night Fever Then we all troop out to the pool and swim and play our hearts out! So much fun! The kids love it and think it's so cool doing something after bedtime. Last time I did it my 7 yr old granddaughter looks at me and says: Grandma we ain't the Beegees! LOL! I adore my grandkids and any time I can spend special fun time with them is top in my books!

Dream Beach Destination: Loving the Olympics so I wouldn't mind going to the Copicabana Beach.

One of my favourite things about summer is seeing my family who live in Scotland. Summer is the easiest time for us all to get time off work and my little sister is off school so I get to spend time with them ❤️! My dream destination is unconventional! I would love to go to Sola Beach in Norway ! I am fascinated with Norway, I absolutely feel like I should have been born there! I don't even know why so visiting a beach there during summer would be absolute perfection ❤️

My birthday tradition is always playing a round of kings with my best friends! Its a card game that involves a lot of heavy drinking and whoever gets the last king has to drink a "dirty pint" (A mix of everyones drinks) and I think the universe's tradition is that I always get the last king no matter what haha!

• My dream beach destination... Hm. This is a tough one because I'm not entirely sure where I'd want to visit but I think it would be awesome to check out Glass Beach (Fort Bragg, CA).

• Birthday Traditions. Good one. The closest tradition I can think of was a pinata, lol. Haven't bashed one of those to smithereens in some time but can't say it wouldn't help ease some stress of adulting, haha. Maybe you will find something out of the 11 Birthday Traditions Around the World to try. :)
