(lol its all good ))
"True," he said with a nod. "Yep, muggle orphanage. Me 'ead Mistress got annoyed with me but it wasn't till she left that I really got into more trouble. I reckon 'ead master was trying to get me chucked into jail. I know 'e was trying to get me moved to another place out in the country. I didn't realise I 'ad magic till I was in Saint Mungos, but then it made sense cos somethings that 'appened near me just didn't make any sense." He laughed. "The thought of the internet seems so bizarre now. But I admit the few times I got to use it I did love the games. Really?" he smiled brightly, "that's cool, working with computers. Did you live in Japan too?" The left the kitchen so laden with food that they wobbled. "Yeah, was told I won't need as much once I'm an adult, but as a kid the extra food is vital." He blushed. "Don't fink it was all that brave, but I'm glad to 'ave done it... well not glad but you know what I mean. Wouldn't've without Dad an' the others nearby but not many people get the chance to see it and all."
"Actually, for the past few years I've been more in Japan than anywhere else -- I went to Mahoutokoro, but like I said earlier, Dad insisted I go to Hogwarts when I was old enough. So we do have a little place in Japan, and when we live in Britain we stay with Grandma and Grandpa. Their place is pretty big, and they say it feels empty with just the two of them." Katsumi tilted her head thoughtfully. "I bet they'd be thrilled if I brought a friend from school over, so maybe you can visit over the next break. Or...well, I can't Apparate yet, but my folks can, and there's always Floo powder and stuff. How would you like visiting Japan yourself?"

"How was Mahoutokoro?" he said with a little struggle over the pronunciation. "Come and visit?" he asked nearly tripping. "That would be amazing. I would love to see Pagodas and those gate thingies that sit in water and well it would be brilliant. But you'd probly 'ave to get the okay from your folks..." he frowned for a moment, "and I doubt I'll be allowed to visit over a full moon."
(( Did Magnus grow his hair out? Nice HA~ =P He should, it looks good. ALSO IF THAT'S THE TARDIS BEHIND HIM flailing What did you use? I NEED TO KNOW! Anyhow, sorry for the delay, yesterday was hectic. ^.^; ))
"Easy!" Katsumi couldn't keep all the laughter out of her voice as her friend nearly fell over. "Ma-hou-to-koro," she repeated, separating it into pieces and pronouncing it clearly. "A lot of words and names in Japanese can get kinda long. I really liked it. It's on a beautiful island -- a volcano, actually, but it's dormant. We have cherry trees there, of course, but others too. It's interesting, though. Hogwarts is way away from any muggle towns, but at Mahoutokoro, we would get airplanes flying from the base nearby. They couldn't see us, of course, but it made Quidditch and flying in on the petrels very interesting."

(lol no, but had been thinking about it for him, since he's be getting older. This is Dash my half vampire guy. He went to WS this year. THANK YOU lol I couldn't figure out why it looked so Doctor Who-ish lol and now I see XD. Did you see my profile, my pet Souffles (Clara pet) and Assassins is a weaping angel whose story I need to work on lmao. -clears throat- anyway, items used where (any dark bg i reckon would work) and and no worries lol its normally only me that has no life lol)
Why was it he had to turn into a complete klutz around girls? He blushed at his near trip as they made their way back to the common room. He said the name again, better but struggled with his accent to make it sound better. "That sounds amazing," he said, "My first time away from England was over the holiday. We visited America and Ilvermorny. It was nice, but I don't think i'd like it as much as 'Ogwarts."
(( actually I have very little life, but it attacks randomly. Yeah, I saw Souffles, but I'll check oiut assassin too!))
"Really? I've heard about the American school, but I've never been. Dad works with witches and wizards from all over -- and he does a lot of travelling too, so I've gooten to visit all sorts of places." Katsumi was animated as she spoke, despite the subtlety of the changes in her expression. "There is something special about home, though. Mahoutokoro will always be home, but I think I will feel that way about Hogwarts too." The question to enter the tower was the same as earlier in the day, so it took no time at all to answer. "Say, is it true? Gryffindor always has the same password? It's not even a question?"

(( nothing overly neat about Assassins yet lol been lazy. ))
"Yeah, I asked Paul about it, but 'e'd never got to go. 'Is mum home schooled. I'd like to travel more, exploring is fun. I knew just about every street in London like the back o' me 'and. He enjoyed learning more about her and where she'd grown up, so engrossed he didn't realise they were even at the tower. "Yeah, its a password but they change it every so often. One month it was Flobberworms. I tell you I laughed so 'ard that the Lady couldn't understand me." He couldn't call her the Fat Lady like everyone else did, because he didn't think it was nice, or very true either.
"Well, you're hardly that easy to understand at the best of times," Katsumi replied, though the sparkle in her grey eyes said this was gentle teasing. "You really do have a very strong accent...or...what do you call it when it's your native language?" She puzzled over the thought for a moment before shrugging. "Britain has so many different accents, though, it's really something. I know I have a slight Japanese one in English, sometimes, but being raised bilingual helps immensely. Oka-san has such trouble with her Rs. Dad teases her about it."

He laughed, "Still an accent. You can tell people from the North just like people from London normally. I don't really 'ear one with you," he said after pausing to think about it. "Is that Grandmother?" he asked, "I think that is... i read a book once about a Japanese family, but it was a long time ago."
"Oka-san? Haa, no, that's 'mum'. 'Grandma' is 'obachan' -- and her English is even worse," Katsumi corrected. "Really it's only on certain words, ones I heard more in Japan than in Britain. Oh gosh, northerners? Some of them are just about unintelligible! Aye, gae brooge fss!" She tried to imitate the rough, wide-voweled sound of some places. "Some have a lilt to their speech, though, and it's lovely."

"Oh, oops. Sorry. And I'm not? I know I'm awful. Mum says its like i talk with marbles in me mouth and when I'm upset or angry it just gets thicker an' thicker."
She shook her head. "Nah, you're not so bad. Or maybe I'm just used to Londoners." Katsumi sat down on the couch after finding somewhere to put the haul of food. "So you knew all of London? ...Rather like Sherlock Holmes, then." The thought pleased her. "Hey, is it true that there's a whole 'nother way around town on the roofs and stuff?"

"Yeah mostly, though avoided the bad areas. I once went to the places where Jack the Ripper murdered people but 'onstly it gave me the creeps." He plopped himself in a squishy chair. "Well I did get on a roof top once but I dont think I could've gotten around on 'em. Of course, I was rather young too, so that probly didn't 'elp. And I nearly slipped an' fell off it. Figured it tweren't gonna be a good idea if I got killed so I left the roofs to the fire brigade and what 'ave you."
