i always loved Falkor the luck dragon from the The Neverending Story

Ok, this is the hardest challenge. I love so many mythical creatures. To name a few, Unicorns, Mini (or full size) griffins, dragons, Pegasus, mermaids, and fairy tale creatures like fairy god mother's, and any animal that can speak to humans. lol

My favorite would probably be a mini snowy owl griffin.

Or maybe a magical winged unicorn.

Or -- wait I'll stop or I'll just repeat my entire list from above again. lol If I have to name a specific one (I know this is lame) but it would be Ariel from the Little Mermaid. I have always loved her. But most of my loves are generalities not specific to one.

I have many favorite fantasy characters that I have loved and cherished in my heart for a long time but there is one character that I have love since I was a child and have always been curious about the many legends and stories told on his name, and that character is the famous wizard Merlin Ambrosius who has inspired countless of stories through ages and still today. Imagine how surprised I was when I saw the movie Transformers two days ago and turned out it was another twist on the Athurian legends. I wasn't pleased with Merlin's image here but I guess its just another of billions Merlins. Haha

My favourite character is Link from the Legend of Zelda. The first one I played was the Ocarina of Time, which will always hold a special place in my heart. (And since there are so many Legends of Zelda, I'll focus on this one) Watching him sitting in front of the Deku Tree, learning about the evil Ganondorf/Gannon and his plot to over-take Hyrule, just gets me goosebumps. He's the boy with no fairy, who not only gets one (albeit she is bloody annoying sometimes) but he travels to distant lands on an epic adventure that spans not only distance but time itself. He is the hero of time, wielder of magic. His tale is one that has a king Arthur-like feel, having to rescue a magic blade from a pedestal, which is why I like it even more. Anyway, I love the bravery and innocence which Link approaches his many destinies.

Without a doubt my favorite mystical character from a video game is more of a mascot... The moogles of the Final Fantasy world, kupo. Their appearance changes from game to game (I favor the mousey look of FFXII myself) but the are always adorable and just impossible. How do they even fly with those tiny wings!? And the fuzzy bauble. So cute. n_n

My favorite character is from The Neverending Story, Falkor. I always loved him. He was my favorite. I think now I need to watch that movie again, it has been ages. I always cry when the horse dies, hate that darn wolf Gmork, and have always loved Carl and Urgl. They reminded me of loving grandparents in a way.

day three entry! Well the first that comes to mind is the legendary drow from R.A. Salvatore's novels - Drizzt Do'Urden. Reading some of those books really got me through my teen years, even though i felt pretty lonely coz i just wanted to live in that world and go adventuring with Drizzt and the gang... but he's definitely one of my favourite characters of all time for sure! And i really need to get around to reading the newest few books at some point coz i'm way behind D:

Entry 3 MY FAVORITE MYSTICAL CHARACTER ? WOW. RUDE. Gosh, so many. I think I can cut it down to two. The Unicorn/Lady Amalthea from The Last Unicorn (goth book and movie !). I was always in love with that story, and very intrigued by unicorns in general. Ariel, from the Little Mermaid. YEP, YOU GOT THAT RIGHT. Little me just loved her. I love mermaids, I love redheads, and I love the music. Big me understands that while the story is problematic... its origins lie in something deeper. It was a love letter from a man to another man, the character being an outsider wishing they could "simply be human," and with the person they loved, no matter how painful it is. And in the end they are plagued with sorrow for it, because she was never meant to be human or with that person.

i just love that hes a gentle character and when I was small I was scared of falkor though as I got older realized hes kind haha

My absolute favorite mythical creature in fiction is definitely Holo the wise wolf from Spice And Wolf. She is the goddess of the harvest, and helps food grow plentiful for the people! Unfortunately, as more religions were created, she began to be talked of as just a tall tale, and people made fun of and belittled her. She at first seemed like a prissy stubborn person, but she's really clever and just wants to have companionship and a good home. Her human and wolf forms are just beautiful, and I've loved the anime/novels for a very long time.

My favorite mystical character is unicorn, mostly because every darn merch picturing unicorns is hella cute, also because it's -- amongst the rainbow, of course -- one of the major symbols of the LGBTQ+ community. Specially love My Little Pony.

So hard to choose, but I'd have to say any and all of the characters from The Last Unicorn (move or book) That story has been a huge part of my life since I was like four years old, and I've never once fallen out of love with it. There isn't a single character from the story that falls flat for me and all of them are amazing while still remaining believable in their own ways.

Myth and lore are my favorites. ❤️

I eat up anything about spirits and ghosts in general, but I guess mine isn't about a single character so much as their worlds. I love it when new media nods at the classic creatures and stories but I also adore how different movies and shows are pushing themselves to develop their own versions of spirits and their world. You see this the most in animes and other cartoons, but two of my favorite LA movies that do it are Pan's Labyrinth and the Insidious movies (mostly 1 & 2). Pan's Labyrinth utilizes a lot of unique creatures and the laws that they live by and I like that Insidious kind of depicts what the afterlife in their stories is like for ghosts. They're obviously not very happy movies, but it gives you an interesting look at their perspective.

My favorite animated spirit movie is Spirited Away. ❤️ Also for the unique character concepts, rules and the deeper look into what life is like for the spirits. c:

Event 3

I grew up with Harry Potter so that series played a big part of my life. As they were going back to school, I was also going to school and as I got older they got older. I felt like I could really relate to some of the everyday emotions and situations they had with other people. My favorite character is Hermione Granger. She reminded me a lot of myself. She was always really smart and the rational one of the group. She was also fiercely loyal and I am also very loyal to my friends. I have some best friends that it's literally ride or die, haha. She always tried to be the best in her classes and get really good grades and I was always studying hard to get high marks so I could get into a good college.
