Due to high demand, should the number of bonus slots be increased?# as one who keeps on missingthe bonus item (not that I've always wanted it) I would love to see the number increased - but not to a really high number. If I am right you do two batches of the bonus items. And I understand that due to the fact you're giving 3 away and the artist and each person involved can get a copy it would be hard.

I would suggest 15 copies - but I can see the difficulty with two batches.

So I am torn. It's a bonus and should remain something special.

2. What can we do to improve the box, the items in it, or the monthly events? Any other comments or questions? That is hard, since I usually have the feeling I like one item out of each box. Sometimes (if CSC allow it) I will snatch the big box, sometimes I choos the item I love the most and go with the small box.

I am not the "shoe" person - neither in Rl nor here (same goes for makeup) but I know a lot of people love those.

So I ususally prefer arm/leg/head items.

But the items are lovely!

I won't ping anyone because I'm sure it will get lost BUT here's my idea

a lot of people are wanting the bonus to be increased by 1 batch - if you did this, said extra batch could be the raffle..

so people who miss the regular slots on the bonus get put onto a drop list sort of thing (maybe within a time frame), and then people on that drop list get random name generated to who of those will get a slot

that way you still get the people that are quick as normal that get their slots but also the ones that are slower or not online still get an opportunity, or maybe on a different time zone, gotta think of that! :)

Other than that I am in love with the subetabox and can't think of anything to improve it, except for maybe more themes that appeal to guys or like darker colour schemes. I have loved every theme so far but I know a lot of people (i've seen some mention about it too) don't use colourful colours so much and think that the colour schemes are very girly and colourful so maybe more that are more like the forest box (it was forest right) with like the black veil and the staff and those items

that's just what I've seen but I honestly like the colours XD

On the other hand though it's supposed to be a limited item with only a few copies on site, so I wouldn't increase it too much.

The issue with maybe only liking one item out of a box was adressed perfectly with adding a new trade to buy a box with someone else. I love the monthly events. For people that don't have a lot of csc it's a chance of winning nice items. I wouldn't make any changes.

Hmmm... Maybe make the boxes match a bit more? Like if you have two really "pretty" items and two more "cutesy" items, make sure that the pretties make it into one boxes, and the cutesies in another? Same for other styles... Maybe match up the edgier ones, or more every day items? Ultimately, I think the box idea is a really great one, and I love that you also give players a place to split boxes and things like that. I sometimes find that I really want an item from one box, but I don't necessarily want what is paired with it...

But mostly, I usually find that the bonus item is the one that I want out of the whole set, so... :O Ooo, this month's bonus item is SOOOO pretty!!

I can't say much about the events, because I missed them last month, and that was when I first heard of the box. But I do have to say that I think it is so generous to give out nice prizes like this as part of the box. :)

I've read back a few pages, and I noticed a lot of people talked about the bonus item being hard to get for time zones and such... Maybe you could increase the number by just a bit, but then make time slots... Like we'll give x copies to the first people to post here between this time and this time, then the first people to post between these two times, and the first people to post between these times? And then if people post during a time, but there was too much demand, they could be entered in a lottery to slot off a couple more? Then, too, you could make different numbers for the different times...

Right now you do 12 copies (plus designers and giveaways). You could increase it to maybe... 20? Then do:

7:00 pm - 3:00 am 10 copies 3:00 am - 10:00 am 5 copies 11:00 am - 7:00 pm 5 copies

?? Or maybe take a bit more input on the times, but I kind of went for American evening when everyone is off work, European morning/quite late for Americans, and European after work/American mid-morning for stay-at-homers?

1. Yes, I believe it should be increased, but, like many others, I think it should be released by time zones. As a European with a crazy schedule, I'm usually online when the box is released, but that's not the case with most of the other people in my time zone I know. If you aren't on for the release post, you generally don't have a chance of getting a bonus item. The increase should only be about 1 batch, not including artist/contest winners.

I think is a really nice idea, i would like to see a box maybe only with chest items, or hair, or shoes, maybe more types of boxes, and maybe one with more than 4, but it will be hard to manage.

i think it should be increased, yes! i'm really liking what and possibly some others said about having some extra copies as raffle slots! it'll definitely be a nice way to accommodate different time zones or people who are simply unlucky with catching it. idk if it's just me but lately my pings have been super delayed as well or i don't even get one until hours later-they're just kinda on/off janky @ __ @

i really like the subetabox and i totally understand (and like) that box items will not always match. i like that concept of a special, novelty grab bag except you know exactly what's in it! i don't think i'm making any sense anymore but if you catch my drift hohoho! c:< i think the split box helps solve most (if not all) the concerns of only liking certain items from different boxes already, so all gucci there too!

1) I think that the number of copies is good. I believe that's what makes the item more exclusive :D

2) I think all the activities are really cool! Everything is very well organized :D I was thinking that perhaps you guys could do a mini random raffle, giving away one or more of the monthly CWs (or just the bonus item) to one of the month's box buyers :o

I get the feeling some people may be tempted to buy a smaller box just to be able to get the bonus.. maybe I'm wrong, or maybe it doesn't even matter, I don't know. XD I just think it's only fair to "reward" those who spend more/are repeat customers!

that is a bonus, is to reward loyalty, in marketing at least. Another idea, would be to give the bonus after 3 purchases, whatever those purchases are, or 5 or less.

As its a bonus item it should stay special, yet for me as I am 6hrs ahead of subetan time nearly have no chance to get my hands on one except for the events, so maybe a few additional bonus slots could be kinda nice ;;

Till now I was always surprised and pleased to see the items, but I think featuring some less filled sections like earrings, rings, necklaces and stuff would be awesome. Some things are hit or miss for me but I think that is the same for anyone, I think adding the subforum for sharing a box was a great idea so that when one thing in the box isn't my style, I can find someone to share the cost with me. Yes, me and Cathii agree we do want the bonus to be limited and "special" since the othe items in the box are unlimited. There have been a lot of suggestions for more variety of wearables, which I agree with too, but it's a little tricky because the artists for every month are volunteers and we can't make them choose certain things, hahaha. We will keep thinking on it and try to find a solution!

Aww, no worries! If you decide later you might want to try to use the split box forum, it will be up all month.

I think it would be a good idea to vary our release times more to accommodate for other time zones (I think right now Cathii usually releases roughly around the same time, during the day). I also like the idea of splitting the bonus slots, and possibly doing a lottery system for part of the slots. We'll have to think on how to implement it! I also love the idea of rewarding our loyal customers/those that buy the big 4 item box, but I don't think limiting the bonus item just to those users would be a good idea, since we're trying to make the CW community feel MORE inclusive, not less. IDK, I'll have to brainstorm something special for you awesome folk that keep showing up in the threads! :)

What can we do to improve the box, the items in it, or the monthly events? well, thinking about it, I think the possibility of interchanging items from box to box could likely sell more complete boxes for you, I was excited to see a thread where we could hook up and split the cost of boxes only to find numerous other posts wanting the same split I did. but if I could chose a box with the cake pop and cream fabric, it would of already been bought! could be an issue for several people who then decide not to buy??! jmo!!

I do feel like an extra batch of bonuses would be good. Personally, I have trouble buying these boxes because there's usally one item I like more than the other. But that's the whole idea of the boxes I guess XD

I am totally against the time shedule rule and I am also European. The two times I was able to snag a bonus I was on at the perfect time.

That's the way bonus shold work. Yesterday I was like..... "oh man I missed" since I have a big RL issue going on but then - for me this is still a game and my family and their health is more important.

I am in love with the dress but yeah.... maybe I can sometimes buy one somewhere.

Its a game - and I know as European I sometime might not be on during the rigt time window same goes for many pretty wigs - like the one Pac wears

But - oh well I can live with that and have another item on my WL

That gives me another goal.

I think that if they are released due to time zones, I would also miss.
