Feedback Time!

1) Due to high demand, should the number of bonus slots be increased? I believe that there should be an increase in the number of bonus slots. Why not share the love a little more, eh? ;)

2) What can we do to improve the box, the items in it, or the monthly events? I haven't been here very long, but I believe that one way to improve the monthly events would be to have recolored boxes more frequently. They are lovely items from what I have seen of previous boxes, and and I think that more people would love to have the opportunity to purchase items that they've missed.

Any other comments or questions? I believe that for Box A it would be an amazing implementation to be able to choose the items that one in purchasing. Although I understand that there is a Split a Box feature, it makes it difficult for those who aren't on Subeta for a good majority of the time to find someone who A, wants the box, B, doesn't want the item that another person wants, and C, come together and figure out a plan of who gets the CSC, who asks for it, etc. etc. This would just eliminate the trouble all together with being able to choose at least what items a person gets in Box A.

you need to remember that subetabox items are single-colored. Shoes in particular are something that most people would want in atleast a few colors, not just one! (I can already hear people raging for more colors of many items so far lol)

As it stands now, artists pick a category (clothes, wigs, accessories) and draw what inspires them - there isnt any particular 'do shoes' or 'do a long wig'. I could however post up ideas and suggestions so that boxes have more variety (:

the point of the subetabox is to make bundles for people. It's something Tartelette and I have discussed about but if people could pick any items they would, it would basically be a regular release of limited time. It's not a bad idea, just a very different concept than the 'bundle'!

I know that splitBox isnt the optimal feature but it's really the best I've been able to come up with. I've been trying to pally to this by making more events, which also take a lot of time!

I understand what you're saying! You could also try and make an additional package with another combination of two of the four items. A bundle D. :3

I think adding another batch to the bonus item would be good for different timezones. I am usually on when the box comes out so I get a chance but I get the frustration.

I love what you all are doing so far but I also like the idea of companions being in the box like animals or fairies or things. Love the themes.

the choice of what items are drawn is really up to the artist unfortunately! There arent much companions or wings artists left on subeta, but I'll see if we can find someone to diversify more (:

You're right, the bonus item is limited! All the other box items are unlimited, but right now we have only been selling 12 public copies with extras for artists to buy + 3 to give away as prizes.

The bonuses will continue to remain limited (right now each bonus item is 2 batches, 12 public copies sold). What kinds of themes or color schemes would you like to see? This is the perfect time to suggest ideas!

Do you think varying the time of day that the box is released would be helpful?

Just to clarify, there are always 12 public copies sold of the bonus item, with 3 given away as prizes. The rest are reserved for artists if they want them (so right now the bonus item is a 2 batch item!) We would definitely still want to limit the number of copies, though, if we increase the number of batches.

I think we will probably continue to make the bonus item limited. Right now, there are 12 public slots to purchase, a few available for purchase for me/Cathii and artists, and then the 3 giveaway prizes. With that in mind, do you think it would be at least a little helpful to release an additional batch?

- The thing that I find most appealing about your SubetaBox is the fact that they are great CWs that I actually have a chance of buying if I want to because they're not limited to one batch and completely sold out by the time I happen to see the group ping. Subeta would have so much of my money if CW sellers had to make their items available to anyone for a week or so instead of people limiting CWs to one or two batches. I'm never fast enough, which sucks. And what said about trying to work with other people to purchase a box is definitely true. It's challenging. All that being said, I think you and are doing an amazing job creating and managing all of this! I look forward to seeing what you come up with every month and I know that there will be a time when there's a box that I really want :)

Right now, they're gone within minutes. Luckily I was online to catch the ones I wanted, but I do wish there were more copies available for those who missed.

You do an amazing job every month with the events. The items every month are beautiful. I love the fact that 4/5 items are unlimited. Thank you all :)

1. I wouldn't add too many more slots as this is supposed to be a limited item? Maybe a good compromise would be to instead of making more slots, have contests or events where you re-release 5 copies of the bonus item for the month or past bonus items. 3 copies go to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and maybe two additional copies could be random generator raffled off for slot price.

2. I think you guys have done an outstanding job with the boxes! Some are just not my personal taste, but they are lovely items and the system of choosing two items, all items, or split a box with someone is great. Personally, I would like to see more accessories, shoes and tops.

I would like to be able to pick which items to put on my box but understand if it can't be done. Just sometimes it is hard to get all four items when you only want two, one of each box.

I think keeping the bonus item limited just makes it more special. We keep the main 3-4 items unlimited so that everyone can have access, but the bonus is meant to be...hmm, just the cherry on top I guess. I know it's not for everyone, but I think it increases the appeal of the box overall. :)

I know it's not as easy as just buying what you want straight from Cathii, but please check out the split box thread - it's pretty simple to just post and say what you want! So far I think everyone that's been posting has been very cordial and helpful. ^^

Do you think it'd be helpful to try varying when we release the box?

Ideally, we'd love to give more slots away! The events and including as many people as possible (even if they can't buy a box!) is the heart and soul of what we're trying to do. Unfortunately, right now the box is totally funded by Cathii and since she doesn't keep any profits (unless she's drawn an item for that month), it's just not feasible to give away more free copies. Do you think it would be helpful to increase the number of public sold copies, though?

Usually the items I'm after are the ones everyone wants to keep! I haven't had any luck looking there. n_n Maybe I'm not a very lucky person! xD

Frustrating!!! D: I hope you'll be able to find the items you like for sale later. When Cathii first came up with the idea for the box months ago, we were really hoping to see people selling/trading the items they didn't love and help stimulate the cw market in that way. And they definitely do, though I know that's not quite as a fun hunting an item down later, haha.

Yes, as a way to get people hyped for the items. They can be silhouettes of the CI or the base with the item on!

I think it would be nice to add a few more slots. I think it might be a good idea though to make some public slots for something like a throw back thursday sale to bring back a few copies of older bonus items. It will give people a chance to buy the item that they couldn't afford to slot on when the item when it was first released. Does that sound like a possibility?

Yes, of course. ^^ Time zones are always an issue, and it would be nice to release the box at different times.
