This is only my second month of doing the box and it's great so far! But it seems like with the bonus, if you're not online when the box goes live, you're out of luck. So I don't know if it's even the number of slots - more would absolutely be better, maybe a few batches or something, not unreasonable but just a handful more. But some other way of signing up for it just in case you can't be on when it's released because of IRL reasons would be nice.

i don't think it would be to much of difference for me.. i missed it this time due to having to check if i had enough for a box and it and still be able to pay my slots i asked for.

2. What can we do to improve the box, the items in it, or the monthly events? Any other comments or questions? They seem to be running fine to me, though I would love to see a fantasy themed box xD

Perhaps to a degree, but I don't believe it would make a huge impact? I, for example, don't have a set schedule when it comes to work. I can be asked to come in starting anywhere from 4am CST (5am Subeta time) and I can get off anywhere as late as 9pm CST (10pm Subeta time).

i'd like the idea of increasing the bonus item by 1 batch - the number of people who buy boxes can be more than double the amount of bonus items released, even with 1 extra batch. i also like the idea of randomising/raffling the slots rather than first come first served. not every copy, just some c:

hm, i never realised people didnt like body mods hehe! i always tried to come up with body mods to offer more variety, but i now see that people usually like those which can fit more than 1 gender, in the same way the conspicuous eye body mod was a hit but this hamster isnt as much. and also they'd prefer more versatile items to a body mod - something im quickly learning even with the release of my own items! ^ building on this idea, maybe we could have a box-idea forum? because while the artists are the ones who draw it, sometimes they find it hard to get inspiration. this comes with its pros and cons. pros: more ideas thrown around and eventually delivered, more interest in boxes! cons: people might get salty if their stuff isnt drawn ahhaha q.q also potentially leaning towards the most popular-looking items rather than trying to offer niche/unique stuff. but its worth a shot imo!

also i'd love to buy box c + bonus please! c:

2. What would it be like if you took bonus slots at intervals. Such as 5 slots available for 3 hours, then release 5 more when that time frame has expired and so on, so maybe if someone missing the initial release they could still possibly get a chance at it?

I'd also like to disagree with you because a lot of people like body mods too! They'll obviously never be everyone's cup of tea because preferences yknow, but ive also heard a lot of nice feedback about them! Also, the point of subetabox items is to have original items - not always the most versatile. Because if they were versatile items we'd just want them in 123123 recolors, yknow?

The box-idea forum is something that's fun but I really dont have the time to coordinate this. I also am uncomfortable with the idea of telling artists what to draw since you know, it's mostly a friendly contribution ;;

Hiya, we're glad to see new faces here on the box thread! :D Right now I can't think of any way to offer preclaims on the bonus item, since you have to actually buy a box to get the bonus, and we don't preview the items until they are released. But I think we may try varying the time of day when the boxes are released, so hopefully more people will have a chance to see and claim!

Ahhh, I think I understand now! Maybe this will be helpful -- Cathii has the boxes set up so that the prices are always the same. They are listed to see all the time on this post, so maybe you can plan ahead of time with that knowledge in hand. Since we're trying to stick to the schedule of releasing the new box around the 22nd of each month (right after the CSC bonus weekend), I think if you have a minute to sit down and tally up your slots around the 20th of the month, you'll be able to see if you have enough CSC leftover for a box when we release! Does that make sense? Sorry if I'm wording it confusingly, it's late hahahaha. :p

I like this idea in theory, but I wonder if people would be mad if they saw the initial release ping, but missed the bonus - then couldn't come back hours later when the second ping went out. Does that make sense?

no it makes perfect sense, i never thought of doing that and had actually just come back after not being able to slot at all for a couple, so didn't think of it and i really wasn't planning on it until i seen the beautiful dress. ;-;

yes that makes sense. But wouldn't it be simular to how the people who come on let's say 1 hour after the initial release feel? By that time all the bonus items are claimed. This could in theory give a wider variety of users from different areas a chance to grab a bonus item. Just something to think about :) I actually just got my first bonus item with this release and I was so incredibly happy that I happened to be on at the perfect time.

It is a bit frustrating, but at the same time I'm sure it's nice to know that the items are so well loved! :3 I love the idea behind this and I do enjoy seeing the bundles every month! I appreciate all the work you guys put into making these bundles and items as well. n_n I also love the mini-events that you hold to give us a chance to win the bonus item! This is such a fun and creative idea.

i dont even remember what the first box was... OH was it the one where all the items seemed more coordinated, like 4 items making an outfit-ish? I like the idea of it, but it would need more synchronization on the part of every artist.

I dont know, do you think it'd be doable? It would create a more inclusive style but since every artist has different styles it might be a bit ecclectic, im not sure ;o

I toyed with the idea of 5-items box but im not sure it would work too well either, price wise QQ

absolutely, most of the time when approvals happen I'm at work. Which I can make happen but even if I see it,I'm on mobile and usually way too late regardless. If it were at varying times morning/afternoon/evening that would make for more variety on who could jump in and get it.

hehee actually jan's box was pretty well coordinated too! v i like them both, but im just not generally a purple person (i really forced myself to use purple on this particular HA tho!)

actually i think that the idea mesmer had to show wip really helped us all coordinate a bit better, though maybe not to the point of the forest and crystal boxes. we just needa keep working at it! v i think drawing styles usually has nothing to do with it (keyword is i think!) so theres always a chance! c:

the january box is because I originally intended to do all the items (due to time constraints) - by the time others helped me I already had some items to show and it gave everyone a direction.

The only way it could work is if we pick a specific theme and brainstorm ideas prior to actually drawing them - doable but more finicky!

As for the current event, I love seeing all of the different stuff offered in the subeta box. I like how there is a theme to each box and each item is the artists interpretation. I think the bonus items could use a few more batches added but not to many, otherwise that would defeat it's purpose. Thank you guys for making this such an awsome event to look forward to each month, and I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us.

I'm not going to pretend to understand value of items but I feel like it would be more fair to people who super want the items and have a difficult time getting them to be given the opportunity to slot.

One thing that has super frustrated me is only liking maybe two items but they're in different boxes, so if I want those items I would have to purchase all four items and I don't want to do that because its a waste of csc for me. I would love the option to choose the two items. The only downside to this that I can think of is that you have more extras of certain items than others.
