A field of beautiful white flowers. How strange. How wonderful. I feel guilty just wandering around in case I may tread upon on. One flower takes my attention more than the others. I walk towards it slowly. I feel it beckoning me asking me to pick it. I bend down and carefully pluck the flower from the plant.

"POOF!!" An orange puff of smoke arose from the flower, bestowing upon me the wonderful blessing of good health.

"Oh wow, I wish I could fly like that!" Emmy said, looking up when Aderyn pointed out the rider zooming by above their heads. She smiled and waved at Poppy and Millie as they greeted her and Aderyn, and tugged the other girl over to their friends.

She chose a chocolate ice cream for herself and pointed out the cappuccino flavoured one to Aderyn, knowing she loved coffee.

"You look nice, Poppy!" she said, spooning up some of her ice cream.

"Thanks Millie, you look wonderful yourself!" Emmy replied, as Millie complimented them.

"A picture sounds great!" she said, adjusting the flower in her hair so that it stayed in place.

"Most likely. Seems like I'm always dropping work off for History of Magic, Ancient Studies, and Ancient Runes than any of my other classes." Millie said to Giselle.

"And yes, please. That would be great" as she move closer to Emmy, Aderyn, and Poppy.

She turned to Emmy, "Thanks!" She said as the girls leaned in to have their picture taken.

After she had her picture taken, she thanked Giselle and heard Professor Persnickety's announcement about the Flowery Fortune Field. "Ohh, that sounds like like fun" Millie said as she walked in. She wandered around until she found the one she had been looking for. She gently picked it and POOF! Red smoke arose from the flower, blessing her with love. Millie could feel herself blushing and she thought about Emmett again. She smiled and met up with her friends.

((aw what a cute activity. rolled 7. peacing out after this probably.)) Giselle plucked a flower near the edge of the field, waving away the rush of purple smoke. Strength, interesting for a Ravenclaw near the end of a term, but who says we have to stick to labels? she thought. Wandering back to the rest of the audience, she leaned back next to her broom to enjoy the current act and wait for the next. The cool yet bright air lent to the cheerful, relaxed atmosphere.

Aderyn waved to Poppy and Millie as she spotted them, having turned her attention away from the broomstick acrobatics overhead for a moment. Ice cream sounded wonderful, and Aderyn ran off for just a moment, returning to the group with ice cream vouchers for herself and Emmy. She looked at the choices, grinning as Emmy pointed out a coffee flavor, but she decided she felt like something else. She ordered herself a strawberry mochi ice cream and waited patiently for it, mingling with the others.

"You do look great," Aderyn agreed, gesturing to Poppy's outfit. "And so do you, Millie! Everyone looks perfect for the occasion!"

She nodded in agreement to taking a picture, wondering just what Durmstrang was like when Millie mentioned it.

"I'd love to do an exchange with Durmstrang," she pondered aloud. "Or any other school, for that matter. It would be so fascinating to see how things are at other schools!"

She gathered with the others for the picture, smiling brightly. Her attention was distracted moments later as Professor Persnickety made another announcement and she glanced toward the flower field the headmistress had mentioned. She grinned brightly, tugging on Emmy's hand and gesturing.

"Let's follow the others, I want to find my fortune!"

"I would love to do an exchange too" Millie said. "It would be really interesting to see how the other schools set up their programs. I know some about Durmstrang's, but not a lot. We usually just talk about our classes and extra-curriculars, nothing too technical."

"I think I'd like to go somewhere warmer, if I was to do an exchange," mused Emmy to Aderyn and Millie. "There are so many amazing non-magical creatures in the jungle, I bet there's tons of amazing magical ones too!"

She smiled for the picture, then allowed Aderyn to tug her over to the flower patch and looked up just as the flower the headmistress was holding let out a puff of bright orange smoke. Smiling, she followed Aderyn into the patch when they were allowed to enter and choose one, picking it and holding it up. After a moment, royal blue smoke puffed up out of the centre of her flower, making her sneeze as she inhaled excitedly.

"Oh, yay, intellect!" she said, smiling. "I hope this lasts till exams," she laughed.

Gwen looks over at the pretty girl talking to her... () “Why thank you, I love the pink! I never seem to be able to pull pink off.” She blushes. “What do you think of this Flowery Fortune Field? I would love to get a fortune of Intelligence… it would be classes easier.” Gwen does a double take – did Giselle just switch clothes?

Gwen talks a little with everyone as she makes her way over to the field. She sees the flowers puffing into different colors and thinks about the time put into this. Professor Persnickety must have been really busy with this.

Gwen bends down to pick a flower - Poof - a smoke of purple came from the center of the flower.

Strength – wow. I need some more of that!!

Megan arrived late -again-. She had posted reminders all over her canopy bed but still lost track of time. She threw on her outfit, thankfully simple this time and no wings needed, and rushed down to the festivities. She'd head about the ice cream in the corridors on her way to the grounds and made a bee-line for the line first. Her pint of cappuccino fudge in hand, she made her way back to the commotion of students starting to get their fun on. She stopped to review the sign posted of upcoming activities and performances and made her way to the flower field that she noticed had just opened with a puff of orange smoke in the Headmistresses face.

"Might as well give it a shot," she thought to herself and when her turn came bent to gently pick a flower. Standing upright against she contemplated the petals when a sudden burst of yellow smoke showered her face. She looked at the sign for the significance and smiled to herself, very much please. "I could do with some good luck!" she thought to herself, thinking of the coming finals and Animagus test she was scheduled to take soon.

Tucking the flower in her hair, she wandered to a table to find something to drink, wondering if she'd run into anyone she knew.

Sam watched the aerial display in awe. As Sadia landed, Sam hurried over to return one of the items she had seen fall, and to ask for stunt flying tips. Several of those moves would be great to use in a Quidditch match. Ms. Malik graciously described several of her moves to the enthusiastic youngster, chuckling at her copious notes and stick figure diagrams. Sam was still studying her notes when Professor Persnickety announced the flowery fortune field. Pocketing her notebook, Sam headed for the field with several other students. Closing her eyes, she turned around three times and knelt to pick a flower. Opening her eyes she saw the flower emit a bright blue puff of smoke. Sam grimaced, she'd been hoping for purple or white..., but more smarts couldn't hurt.

"My aunt is the Charms professor at Ilvermorny, across the pond. She said it's about the same kind of weather there."

Millie wanted to move on to see what else there was. She still couldn't believe how nice everyone looked. She felt somewhat under dressed.

She heard Emmy mention her flower. "A blue flower would have been great for me. I'm trying not to think about the 11 exams I have to do".

Millie saw Megan walking about the flower patch and she waved to the Prefect. "Hey Megan, you look wonderful! What color did you get? I got red".

Nyxx turned and showed me the most beautiful blue flower! " Wow Nyxx!! If you get blessed with any more intellect you'll be smart than that muggle Stephen Hawking! " I said! Nyxx giggled and we both sat with our flowers! "Lets take a picture of us!" Nyxx said! And just like that we both had a perfect memory we'd never forget ❤️

Megan waved back to Millie and walked over to her.

"Hi! I got yellow! Apparently its for good luck, she told Millie. "I love your ensemble! Very hufflepuff-ish, she added with a wink.

"That's awesome. And thanks. It's funny, my mum thinks I should wear yellow and black for every school function. My dad and I have tried explaining to her this isn't the case but she doesn't fully understand. But I don't mind. She has excellent taste in clothes". Millie said while smiling.

Yellow is such a wonderful colour! Your mum sounds like a lovely woman, Megan replies, smiling at the idea of wearing her House colours to each event. "My mum is more of a "If its black and look grunge, wear it all the time" type. We differ so in our sense of clothing style.

"Yellow really is a great color. Yeah, my mum is pretty awesome. She even has a cute German accent and bakes all the time." Millie laughed. I like wearing black too. I usually wear it in the winter".

Merlin was startled by the sudden appearance of the two students now smiling at him. He stare at them for a moment trying to understand what they were saying since he was a bit distracted when they first pop up. Then, he remembered their faces, of course he has seen them in the school, and of course he knew their names just never been formally introduced. "Hello, Nyxx ( ), Peg ()" He slightly nods to each of them trying to act polite. "I'm Merlin" He then remembers about the owl. "Is your owl alright now? Mine used to pull his feathers out until I realized he had an allergy to cherries which made his skin itch. I now mostly feed him meat, especially rats. I sometimes found them lurking in the dungeons...oh sorry. I tend to talk too much." He sheepishly smiles while he noticed one of them giggling. "Hum...did you both got your ice cream? They ran out when I went to get mine, the last one was given to the girl in front of me! I almost made a spell to steal it from her, but then felt bad and didn't. It played nicer in my head than it really would have been." He burst into laughter just imagining the girl's face if he had taken her ice cream. "Oh...talking too much again, sorry."
