Bio: He is not a very friendly person. He's blunt, standoffish, and often quite moody. Animals tend not to like him, and he's not especially good with plants. In many ways, Misha Solovyov is not a very good Hufflepuff.

A very large part of Misha is still that first-year student, fresh into Hogwarts from a pureblood Slytherin-oriented family, heart sinking when hearing the Sorting Hat exclaim- "Hufflepuff!" It seemed like just another stone in his parents’ fists. The only child of two talented wizards, Misha’s physical ailments and differing sexual preferences were nothing short of disappointments. Being sorted into Hufflepuff was simply icing ontop of the cake.

The Sorting Hat is seldom wrong in its decisions. Perhaps there's something deep inside him, a seed of Hufflepuff-like disposition waiting to blossom should some dedicated soul get close enough to him.

Other: Misha has been diagnosed with anemia as well as hemophilia and other chronic blood disorders. Such is apparent by the pallor of his skin, dark circles under his eyes, and lack of general energy/strength. He is prone to falling asleep at inopportune times and frequent nosebleeds. It’s not unusual for him to not be able to muster up the strength to open a particularly well-packaged bag of chips.

He spent his youth back and forth between England and Russia, and speaks with a Russian-English accent.

Laughs easily, even when the jokes are pretty bad. Likes to spend quiet moments among trees (awkward considering... well, the Forbidden Forest). As a vampire, a custom wand was required to be able to handle the magical stain her condition has upon her magic. Not a wand to be used lightly, this is a particularly picky wand (much like it's owner) and will reject those it feels is not worthy. It features intricate hand carved runes on the underside of the wand with rococo-style vines winding all around. The leaves are gilded in gold. The rare Hazelnut hilt is made of wood harvested on the Full Moon of Samhain on midnight, cut from a virgin branch on the eastern side of the tree by a cutter facing east before being presented to the rays of a rising sun. The Elder wood was harvested within the cycle of the thirteen moon, on the thirteenth day before Samhain. Elder wood derives its symbolism of endings, rebirth, renewal and death

The dark and mystic wand is balanced by the double light-inclined cores of a powdered dragon scale and an owl feather which enhance finesse and high speed casting respectively. The cores are powerful in their propensity for careful, high-powered spells however do not fare well with transfiguration spells. A Black Tourmaline acts a psychic shield for the more negative tendencies of vampires by providing a powerful grounding presence between the spirit and earth whilst aligning energy centres. The focus also provides some protection against of the stain of darker magic and spells.

Bio: Ariette is tall and quite slender, and is quite often mistaken as being anorexic which is kind of hard to avoid when your diet is literally liquid (blood duh). Numerous (well meaning, no doubt) members of staff and even complete strangers have attempted to cram food into her and/or get her on a diet of nutritional potions. The simple fact remains that she is extremely unlikely to have any reaction to food or nutritional potions. She does get annoyed by this mothering/concern especially when it comes from people trying to force treatment plans on her without knowing of her circumstances. She used to have bright red eyes however owing to much complaint from her fellow students, she managed to convince her mother to help her change the color to one that is more palatable. Her eye color used to freaked her fellow students out so much that they would run away in a panic from her or would bully her, which made her very insecure as she wanted to make friends. She wrote home and over the summer of her first year somehow managed to cloak her natural eye color coughbloodritualcough. Unfortunately for her, her eyes still glow in the dark and are as intense as ever however people seem to like the gold more than the red. She's a proud Slytherin and her wardrobe certainly reflects that however unlike her mostly-stoic housemates, she is somewhat a bit of a loose cannon. She's got resting bitch face and frankly is quite intimidating, until she opens her mouth because what comes out is a mix of inappropriate jokes, stories that border on embarrassingly comical, gossip, or incredibly obvious questions. Although the latter is due to her lack of understanding of normal human behaviours and social cues.

I wanted to go ahead and post my info for the next term. I have a new character who is a transfer student from Durmstrang, and since I saw someone was a new student starting during the break (rp holiday party event) I would like to have him be able to rp over there as well.

Bio: Kyros is the youngest child of a rather reclusive and dark pure-blooded family hiding in the countryside of Scotland. Initially raised according the strict standards of blood purity and expectations of his aristocratic leaning family, he was supposed to be the family heir after his older sister Jade ran away. His “training” as the heir is not a time of his life he likes to remember, being physically and emotionally painful. During that time, he learned a few notions of dark magic and difficult spells such as Legilimency, though he is by no means an expert. He was not supposed to have gone to Hogwarts, instead being homeschooled and tutored by his parents per their beliefs, but his sister refused to let her little brother suffer in her stead and managed to spirit him away from home too; both went into hiding afterwards as they feared their family is still out there hunting them. Since then, Kyros believes his life to have significantly improved and is very close to Jade, considering her the most important person in his life; he is extremely defensive of her, even taking into consideration her ties to shady magical businesses and activities. In Hogwarts, he hopes to achieve enough magical power and influence to come out of hiding and face his family one last time.

Personality: Kyros is initially charming and charismatic, portraying himself as friendly, honest and kind. He easily approaches people and makes them feel at ease in his presence, having a knack for what to say while respecting people’s boundaries. Beneath that cheerful persona he is a very ambitious and manipulative young man, not afraid of using others to advance his own interests, but not going out of his way to hurt someone unless absolutely necessary. He has a very strict code of conduct and morals to which he adheres, and as such only extraordinary circumstances will make him steer from it. He keeps this same loyalty to those few who manage to gain his trust and consideration. More ruthless than effectively sadistic, but with a definitive darker streak to his personality, he holds himself and others to high standards and can easily come off as narcissistic or arrogant when showing his true self, being generally dismissive of other’s potential; those that do manage to subvert his expectations usually manage to gain his respect or enmity. Though confidant, intelligent and perceptive, his strong and unstable emotions are an aspect of his self that he struggles to deal with, being prone to certain mood-swings that he tries his best to conceal from his peers. Even in his friendlier persona he is unable to hide a tendency for sarcastic humor.
