Well, I've seen it work very well for my mom, so I recommend it. Even better if you can get your insurance to pay for it like hers did! She used to get it at least once a year, she had a big problem finishing high school because she would get it so much. Now it's been months and she hasn't had it, and for someone who got it constantly, I'm super happy for her.

Goodness, your poor mother went through heck. Im glad the vaccine seems to be working for her. I currently dont have insurancen its too expensive for me and as a substitute my paychecks fluctuate. Its alright though, hopefully its cheap like a flu vaccine. Ill look into later. c:
sounds good! Please let me know how it goes and if you get it?

Yes I'll definitely let you know. I can be painfully regretful at times so please don't be offended if I forget. I dont do it on purpose. c:
Next event is Survival right? I cant wait to see if they come up with new diseases. The lotus one freaks the heck out of me. /shudders
I love the amazing art that comes with a new disease, I'm very very much looking forward to that as well.

I've never actually taken part in this particular event, so I'm super excited!
" Okay, so you’ve made some bad decisions. You’ve hurt people. You’ve hurt yourself. You’ve stumbled through life from one self-inflicted disaster to the next without anything even approaching a plan. To which I say: welcome aboard. Maybe you’re not good... but you’re sure as hell good enough. "
I LOVE you avatar! Looks like a character from Corpse Braid!
Survival was my first event, I joined right in the middle of it, so I'm super excited. I love to see the strains evolve, I hope we get new ones this year.
Good morning everyone! it's 9:32 am EST and Subeta Time, so how's everyone's mornings/days going?

Its off to a good start so far. Just getting ready for work right now. Ill be substituting for a Kindergarten class. I hope its a fun day, they have their valentines party today and any work will all be valentines related. Its also "fun friday" which means more free time for the kids and maybe show a movie.
oooh that does sound very fun! I hope all goes well!

Long and slow in this neck of the woods. It's a Friday, the office is a bit deserted, and since a few of our customers (we have a number of clients based in China) are on holiday for the Chinese New Year, it's been a big on the dragging side.
(I'm also having a weird moment where looking at the description of the Food Market is making me super sad. I know it's probably not meant to be a jab at anyone, but living with a restricted diet, something about the way it's stated is just rubbing me the wrong way.)

Hiiiii! //waves
yeah i can see where you're coming from. I'm vegetarian (hoping to one day go vegan) and i know someone with Celiac disease. I really don't think it's meant to be like nah nah nah at anyone, but i can understand how it's rubbing you the wrong way

I make two on your people you know (well, distantly, in my case, lol) with celiac disease list! ;)
But yeah, I know it's not meant to be teasing people who have legitimate health issues, but living in a world where I'm made fun of or dismissed because of fad dieters... it feels a little coarse.

yeah, i really don't like the people who dismiss everyone with a diet restriction as a fad dieter. Have you heard the stories of people with lactose intolerance (like so bad they could die) going to Starbucks, asking for soy, and receiving regular milk because the barista was being judgmental? I can't believe awful people like that exist :(
doing pretty good since i had my coffee ;) how about you?

Cool! I'm glad! :D I'm good too, thanks for asking!
Oh man, I'd read about that. That's why I've also been so wary about going out to eat lately. I've been reading stories about chefs who instruct their line cooks to swap out ingredients in gf dishes with gluten containing ingredients, to "prove" when the guest doesn't get sick that they're just faking it. But often times, I don't know I've been glutened until after I've left the restaurant, so there's no way they'll ever know. They'll just be smug and act superior while I'm stuck getting horribly ill at home.

Yeah, my friend is always wary about that too. We had eaten at one restaurant that she knew was good about being gluten free when they say they are, and i offered her some fried plantains but she had to deny in case they came into contact with gluten in the oil they got fried in. She also has to be wary about "gluten free" products. Sometimes they may not contain gluten but could have been processed on machinery that also processed gluten.
Guys help, i don't know how to make a Survival avvie XD
