Yeah I'll find out by tonight if we're going. My aunt is suppose to be going and she was planning to take my parents. Either way I might take tomorrow off in case they need me. xD So unexpected day off is nice too? Haha

We recently got new neighbors and my dog is such a barker! He wont leave them alone. He takes his guard dog duties seriously.

Just woke up and there are six inches of the snow on the ground, and it's still coming down. Guess who's staying in instead of dealing with work?

That was us last tuesday. And yesterday it snowed a bit but it was blowier than hell. Gotta love winter in Iowa.

Ohio (southern Ohio anyway) is usually hit or miss. Occasionally we'll get a lot of snow, but most of the time it's just dustings. Today it's just like... oh look. Snow EVERYWHERE. We were only supposed to get a couple of inches.

(Pity a snowman contest can't clear out all this snow. XD)

Its already starting to warm up here, ugh. I wish the cool weather would last. I mean 70s is great weather but for us it just means the real heat is not too far in the distance. We could end up being in the 90s by April. :/

Well, our states share two letters and have four characters, so there's that? It's all right, though, people always forget Ohio is in the Midwest... though I'm not sure how. (Good luck on the anxiety meds. I know how much of a pain that is.)

I'm with you on that. I way prefer cold weather over hot weather.

I don't even mind being mistaken for Ohio sometimes. I'm sure it's a lovely state. ( ever since my Mom died in January I've been waiting to see my psychiatrist to get back on my anxiety meds. It's tough stuff. I'd been off them for about two years.)

Hi all! Went to my psychiatrist appointment which went well, and then went to the bank like a Real Adult (TM) :D

No snow here, but it decided to storm right as people were heading home from work. I was waiting at covered bus stops and still got completely soaked (along with the baguette and birthday gifts I was carrying). :(

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. I can relate to anxiety, but not to losing a parent, that must be really difficult. I hope the meds help you.

Hey everyone! Sorry I was silent today, I spent most of the day with my dad at the hospital (he's fine, routine back surgery) but they sure did take their sweet time getting him in a room! I feel asleep in a chair while waiting, now my neck is all blakdj;flkasjdf;aioj

I hate when situations like that happen. When I had pneumonia they took over a day to get me into a room. Im glad your dad is doing well now and finally has a room.

I'm very happy for him finally getting this surgery. I was tired of seeing him in so much pain everyday. It was a long time coming for sure.

Ew pneumonia! My mom used to get that A LOT but now they have a vaccine against it or something that she got, and she hasn't had it since.

I have heard about a vaccine for it and I'm considering it. It was my 2nd time going through it after 12 years. It was really rough this time too. It gave me asthma.
