Lol I gave up on finishing the first island for now after I got pissed at the 1% Bagon on Rt 3. I'm going to go try again now that I have Lapras surf from the second island. The bay down below has a 10% spawn rate which is a LOT better!

Yesterday was incredibly shitty. Thought I was fine after feeling kind of motion sick after a cab ride, so I had a big late lunch... and that didn't end well. Bleh. Working on rehydrating today after being super dehydrated yesterday as well as slowly starting to get some food back in me! I'm feeling pretty good at the moment so I think it's time to play games :)

I'll be coordinating with my parents later to figure out what time they are going to pick me up tomorrow to go to my grandmother's for Thanksgiving. She's a very independent 90-year-old and won't accept our help with cooking. I've put my foot down and this year I'm making biscuits with herbs. I wish I had fresh sage, but the grocery was out. Dried has been fine in the test biscuits I made over the weekend :) I'm glad I didn't sign up for a lot of baking at this point, and I'll just have some dishes to do Thursday to help out.

Now if only my grandmother had WiFi... I may go halfsies with my dad to get her hooked up since it's always an issue!

I'm just starting the third island now. catching everything I can still, evolving the new guys then switching them out with other new guys.

It is very easy for me to lose track of time playing video games. In college, I would stay up until 2 or 3 AM on Fridays and Saturdays playing Dragon Age (but this was also while my husband (then boyfriend) was at basic training).

There used to be a local used game shop that had older systems and games for decent prices, but they went out of business early this year, and then Hastings closed in October. So the only options for used games are now Gamestop or Amazon.

I did the 'Collect the Weeds' thing a couple times and it always took me over half an hour. Now I just pull all the weeds I can find before I talk to Leif, then I usually just have 1 weed left and I tell Leif I'm done.

Saw Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Friday night with my hubby. Thoroughly enjoyed it and had to explain what some of the creatures were to him, among other things.

I am really looking forward to it! My daughter has been counting the days for 2 months now lol!

They wanted to get him a bike for the longest time but he didn't want one so I kept telling them to wait. Emily is nagging me for a PS4 and the new Galaxy XL 3DS. She has gotten so expensive!

I can never find the last remaining weed. I check behind buildings and trees and it still evades me. I finally updated New Leaf, so I'm adjusting to the changes and figuring out what all is new.

The movie is adapted from the textbook Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them that J.K. Rowling wrote for charity, but there isn't really any book its based off of like Harry Potter. Though if you've read it, you have a better idea of what some of the creatures are that show up in the movie. The film seems to follow some of Newt Scamander's adventures and fill out his background for us. I did some research online and found that David Yates and J.K. Rowling have 4 more movies planned for Fantastic Beasts, so we'll gain more knowledge on the wizarding world.

She has some internet for her desktop so she can check email, but that's about it. She's not very good with technology haha.

Oooh New Leaf update? Perhaps I will switch games later today so I can update and check it out. I think I'm still paying off a mortgage lol. Which means back to messing with the date/time on my 3DS so I don't have to wait real life days to get more money. Last I remember, I was waiting to finish most of the expansions before going all out on decorating, but I'm horrible at being patient!

The game updated to include Amiibo support. There is now a RV campground with a new NPC and this is where you can use Amiibo to invite AC characters to your town. Initiatives were added that you can complete to get tickets to use in the new campground. I also got a message that Nook has a blueprint for a new storage room, but I haven't checked that out yet. There are probably other things that were added in the update that I haven't found yet.

I can't remember if I was still paying off an addition to my home. I need to check that out before I go talk to Nook.

if we're allowed to pluralize can I remove 'a' from "a secondhand" ? the item I have for ----- comes pluralized.
