His dad is from New York so he's normally a Giants fan (bleh). I guess he's just supporting the other Manning haha. I prefer hockey, but my dad is from Massachusetts so I never had a choice in my sports teams affiliations :) I really just can't wait for some of the commercials. I've been trying not to watch the ones that were released early, but it's so tempting...

I am right in that boat with you. I scrawled something out in MSPaint in black and white and put in a big description of the colors and what it should look like because I thought that someone else would be modifying the entries before putting them up. Had I known, I would have not entered or tried to do a better (yet still crappy) job.

Ahaha, yeah, my buddy Tea and I were Chai Punk! We had so much fun with that (especially the crazy modified lyrics) but it was all her idea originally. I kept those images just because they make me happy and nostalgic. n___n I hated that game, though. I was so bad at it. Thank jeebus for you guys, because otherwise it never would have amounted to anything!

I loved the idea for the band though, it was really cute and creative.

I grew up in Colorado so even though I don't particularly care or follow sportsball I have a little soft spot in my heart for the Broncos.

I'm glad someone loved that game! I think I would have liked it more had the controls been more intuitive. I'm left-handed so sometimes what feels right is opposite of how right handed people feel and those just confused the heck out of me.

We had so much fun with that idea you don't even know, I'm really glad other folks had fun with it too. I worried about that, especially as an obviously smaller team. I'd like to see another music festival, as long as they change the scoring/prize situation. That was the least fun part of the event for me.

Street Team and I had a love-hate relationship. I got really good at it but it drove me insane. My team got an honorable mention which was kind of cool. It was something kind of different for a summer event. I can't remember what exactly I complained about, but I remember complaining about something haha

The scoring was so weird! I like the way the staff has been handling prizes lately where you get points for events and you get to buy what you want. People seem to complain less when that's the case.

But yeah, even though we were one of the smaller teams it was still fun! I liked the Horns & Roses team too, or whatever that was, but IDK I just thought Chai Punk was really creative and I had to support you guys. I haven't even played Street Team or any games much since I've gotten most of the achievements anyway. xD

It was nice to have something for the summer, since there aren't any annual events during that time. I liked all of the new foods and wearables and all that, even if some of it was pretty expensive. I wouldn't mind seeing more events in Peka Park too, like how they just had the snowman competition. I guess we'll see if they've got anything planned for this summer.

I really like summer plots. The Councilors Cruise thing was fun too. As I was saying last night, I'd really love a long, convoluted, and difficult puzzle plot that spans like half the summer. I think after this event, it would be nice to have something that involves more cooperation/collaboration to figure out the steps. I think I'm just longing to revisit the Lost Desert Plot haha. Those were my glory days on Neo (though I was way more active during the Altador one which was fun too).

The Cruise event was fun too, yes. I'd be down for something like that though, with puzzles and people working together instead of against each other.

I didn't really understand plots when the Lost Desert one was going on, so I didn't really participate. But reading back about it, it sounds like it was really fun!

Some parts were incredibly difficult, but it was really fun to see how different users would figure out pieces of the puzzle, and then everyone else would build on that. It was nearly impossible to finish the plot without any chatting on the forums. I think it would be nice if the plot were designed so that as each step is finished, you get a couple of items, and then if you finish the plot, you get a couple of extra nice things. Maybe have some battling-exclusive items on the 5th drop... Whoops, rambling again. I get weirdly excited about puzzles and stuff haha

Yeah that seems like about how they've been doing rewards though recently. I know with Faded Memories they gave points and then had the prize shop, but for the Jaxon and Ian plot during Morostide 2014 they just gave out the item prizes at the end. I think the items you got depended on how many of the steps you completed, and then there was a at least one battle opponent that had 5th win drops (Goohund or something) and then Evil Jaxon was a group battle opponent I believe.

That's true. I loved the Jaxon x Ian plot :) I think all of the big plots lately have had a big group battle opponent at the end. I never really understood the point of those but some people are really into it

Yeah I'm not too sure about that either, maybe some battlers like seeing how much damage they can do in one hit? Or how many hits they can get in before their pet dies? IDK, but other than that I don't see the real reason for them either. I like having opponents with 5th win drops, even if my pet's not strong enough to beat all of them. I'm getting there! Just noticed it's Tier 8 as of yesterday actually, so slowly but surely ~

Looks like this week Winter is finally heading our way to stay. Been a mild Winter and have loved it!

Have a roast going in the crockpot so smells lovely in here. I was going to make Pizza due to Superbowl but my guy was like NOOO!!!! make the roast lol Which is more then fine by me. I'm not a fan of football so does not matter to me who wins. My guy is a huge football fan so know more then I need too :P

Hey, how have you been? It's been a mild winter here too, although winters in south Texas are pretty much always mild but still even by our standards it hasn't really gotten very cold or anything.
