We had been close when we got stuck and on our side felt like we were gaining momentum and getting closer to catching up, we had a bunch of people that stayed up all night to push though but then that momentum died. They could have reset both sides but that would have meant all that work on your side would be wasted... meh. Lose lose really.

At this point, the constant 502's during obstacles is what is most frustrating. Personally feeling very defeated, not because of being behind but just tired of all the issues. :/

Yeah, well they put you guys really close behind us, like less than 1% away at one point. We just got really far ahead again beating our obstacles and getting boosts. I feel like it's a bit more fair now, but still annoying.

We had been nearly tied when we got stuck... which is why everyone was really pumped and excited at the time. I think someone had reported at just .9 % behind... so I get why they decided to push us up. Again, lose lose really - we lost the enthusiasm, number of people on, and extra time to catch up the rest of the way... I should go look, I know it felt like forever (even I left out of frustration and to watch a couple movies with hubby) but don't remember if it was 5 hours or longer...

Doing good. Was't too happy about the glitch, but I'm glad it's fixed now. Just taking a break from math homework that is due Tuesday! Plus I'm tired lol.

@ Hollis Ya, I was going to try to stay up all night (since I'm ahead by 6 hours it's sometimes needed) to help the team but I'm tired too... so we'll see how things continue.

Just a reminder, both Team Steel and Team Gold have separate ping groups - if you're in Team Gold and not joined already let me know. I'll send you the group info so you can join in obstacle strategy and general team chat. :) I would guess most Team Steele are all set since so many here are in it together but just in case, and are both active in the group should you need to join the ping group there.

I'm going to wish Team Steele congrats on their win, I don't know that I'll be staying up late and think the win is pretty locked up now. It was a bumpy road today but your team has shown excellent sportsmanship, worked hard, and deserve the congratulations. ^_^

Maybe Team Gold will win the next round? BUt since IM on Team Steele...I hope not. XD

Definitely wishful thinking. I'm just hoping there are no more damn glitches. Those get very old very quickly! We were all concerned watching our caravan move for 6 hours and yours sitting very still lol

I think our team wore themselves out staying up all night for the item donations and too many missed the first day (only 6 hours!?!) of counted quests. :P Pshh... sleep... who needs that, right? Ah, thanks! I guess we'll see how it goes but hopefully this weather boon will be nice for us.

I haven't been super concerned with winning the legs (still try our best of course, but if we don't win it's fine), but I think it would be kind of nice if both teams end up tied for the legs and can split the bonus points.

Thanks sweets! I think that might be part of the problem haha. It could also be that we have more users active generally so an event like a quest-a-thon favors our team. And item drive is a crapshoot because it basically just depends on who has the bigger hoard to start :)

I'm glad there hasn't been any real saltiness with this NPC event though. Cheers to the next leg of the trail, and here's hoping we end up winning this last leg so each team gets two wins!

The timing was bad for euro time zones, it started after I usually go to sleep and I literally was falling asleep between every quest... could not keep my eyes open due to already being sleep deprived. >.<

Not too salty, other than the comment about team gold having 24 more hours to turn stuff in O.o ... that made me laugh out loud since the site is being a pain of varying degrees for everyone >.< I have definitely walked away from the computer out of frustration a number of times and had to come back after relaxing a bit ... but generally pretty good. ^_^

I think the good weather will definitely help a lot! Wesley was probably helping quite a bit too even though you didn't win the last leg... my poor little fingers were so tired from hunting non stop yesterday!

I am curious exactly how many bonus points there will be and if we are somehow getting individual points for how many items we turn in and stuff... I was active during the 2012 Steel event but was working such long hours then that I barely did anything, so have no idea how the points awarded are actually given out.

I saw your comments on the board about staff and communication - I'd like to think they understand what everyone is saying but I don't get the feeling that they do. shrugs
