I'm alright, I'm just around waiting for the first real cold front to hit... Whenever that will be. We had a few days of nice weather and then boom we're back in the early 90's. Bleh.

@ MissEventful Both colds have been after conventions... my theory is that it's being exposed to sooooo many new people and people from neighboring countries. This is my first year going to conventions and when i'm there I'm talking to a lot of new people, shaking hands, getting hugs, in close quarters, etc... and 'con crud' is a common thing, it's hard to avoid sick people when there are thousands there for an event.

It's kinda like when you move to somewhere new or first start teaching school, that first year is rough when you are exposed to so many new people and germs...

ahh, that makes total sense. Yeah being anywhere unusual like a convention, airplane or what have you is bound to open you up to the yuck. I always load up on vitamin c and d before traveling and try to wash my hands often (or something like a hand wipe).

And can we tell our secret swapper that we were the one who gifted them? I feel like I need to tell 'em I did it, I sent it, it was allll meee! :P

Ya, I keep hand sanitizer at my booth at all times... but only does so much. :P

home from work! today was a long day, but pretty good! i'm off for like five days as of now, which is weird, but definitely awesome. i can get some cleaning done around the house in preparation for the holidays!

this will be our (me and my roommates, one being my sister) first thanksgiving without either of our parents. they both moved out of state. :( but we can manage it on our own! we'll split up who cooks what, and i'll ask my mom for some cooking advice. try to figure out how she made her turkey so godly :^L

waves Sorry I missed your post... have been crazy busy and it's been hard to pop in here the last few days. Goodluck on your first Thanksgiving on your own! It's a lot of work but so worth it when you sit down to chow down at the end of the day. :D

Hubby and I are flying home to visit family for Thanksgiving, I think the last time we were able to spend it with family was 6 years ago... living overseas means we can't get back every year and often other things like weddings or babies dictate when we get to visit. :P I'm pretty excited, we did surprise our families for Christmas a few years ago but generally we are by ourselves for holidays. It's just too much of a hassle to deal with international travel during the winter, with weather delays and such.
