Glad you are on the mend! I haven't had surgery but I did have a laceration on my eye years ago and had to wear the patch. I hated it... dark glasses weren't bad but I wanted to claw that patch off. :P

Cyber pirate... I will have to remember that. We could have a themed day around it, that would be kinda fun to dress up our HA's and see what everyone does. ROFL :D

Yes, recently I fall for eye patches and glasses, LOL, never wear them before on my HA.

Thanks lovely! :D I just traded for this wig yesterday... was thinking I'd use it for wig swaps but I think I'm going to have to keep this one, it's just too cute. I don't wear a lot of pink in RL (doesn't look great next to auburn hair) but I find that my HA likes pink, I think it's the Poptart name.... :P

There are so many colors that I never wear irl, and that's what makes HAs so fun to me personally. That chance to dress how you never would, or feel you could, or even have the confidence/courage to. I love it! X3

I think your UN is adorbs, reminds me of being a kid and eating poptarts no matter what time of day it was! XD Also, I just peeked at your profile, and I love all your pets and their yummy dessert names. =o CUTE.

@ Scorpio LOL yes, my HA is always dressed in something I would never wear... I'm very plain jane... give me a flattering cut t-shirt and nicely cut jeans any and every day. :P I try putting jeans on my HA and it's like, what the hell!?! that looks WRONG!

And thanks! I changed everything up last fall and just love the change... I am adding a new pet in a few days, just waiting for the name to be freed up so I can add it to my collection of tasty treats. :D

LOL I read your back posts about putting jeans on your HA. I too tend to lean towards jeans and decent tshirt. Though lately I've been trying to branch out and have found myself in love with some buttery soft leggings that make me feel like I'm walking around with nothing on! So comfortable and breathable for this Summer weather. :D

I'll start trying to think of some things, I know we did a luminaire thing long long ago... maybe we could plan on a costume contest for morostide? That would be fun I think.

On a side note if I disappear for a day or two don't worry, we just added to our family so my life is really hectic right now, we went from having our 3 boys and daughter to having 7 kids, 4 girls and the 3 boys! It was very last minute, I'm trying to learn how to do hair for the girls. Since our little one is only 8 months old I haven't had any practice, and I was a tomboy so yeah... the messes I have made are hilarious! They are biracial so that makes it even harder, they make fun of me lol. With all the kids being 10 and under its like my house is now a circus, but at the same time we feel so blessed that our family chose us to take them! They are my husband's cousins, so it's not like we were strangers. Still we weren't used to girls at all haha. The boys are having a hard time with the change but the girls are flourishing! This is the first time they have had this kind of family life and they amaze me daily with how thankful they are. Eventually it should slow down....I hope! :)

@ Country Oh goodness, that is quite the change in the number of little bodies running around! That is awesome though, sounds like you are having a lot of fun - despite the learning curve. :D And OMG, I don't know if the style has a name but I think hair tied into two poofballs is the CUTEST! Maybe it's just ponytails but the name doesn't seem as fitting when it's so much cuter than normal ponytails.

Oooh and costume contest sounds fun... do you remember how it worked exactly? I haven't ever participated in a costume contest except through official subeta ones. I could definitely run something during Morostide. :) Maybe have two or three categories? Gross, Spooky, Festive?

I love the category idea! I think last time we just had one(or maybe it was ASP that did it)... it's been so long though I can't remember. I know we had users that weren't in waa vote. I believe the month before we asked if anyone wanted to donate towards the contest and that's where the prizes came from, but I could be all wrong... nonetheless I think that would be a good way to do it. We could have users smail the entrees and whoever takes the entrees post them on the topic, that way the judges don't know the user directly and it would be more fair to everyone entered. :)

I tried the poof ball hair style, it was not successful lol. The oldest wanted cornrolls/braids, you don't even want to know how bad that attempt turned out, but I did do a pretty good french braid for her. The middle girl has PERFECT ringlets, all I have to do is dampen her hair and it looks gorgeous! I have been searching for a hair stylist in our area and haven't had much luck finding the right one, but I know eventually I'll track some one down. So for now they have to deal with me and my horrible styling skills haha. Oh and I did find out the hard way that using a straightener is a bad bad bad idea haha, lucky for me the girls have a sense of humor about the whole thing.

@ Country Ah, straighteners don't work... if they want straight you need to go with a relaxer. Can probably find at the store near the hair dye. And if you can do a french braid already that is a good start! You can move to two french braids next and then so on. :)

And great, I'll put a note in my calendar to ping everyone regarding donations at the end of September... then have the contest mid October or so. :)

@ Julie I really love your wig!! Is it new? I just added it to my WL recently when I saw someone wearing it... maybe it was you. >.<

@ Ambition @ Helly Since we were talking about pets recently, I created Cookie Dough yesterday... not super cute atm, but zapping to eventually become this cutie. Hmmm... can't seem to get the image to show up?? Is it working for anyone? If not, it's the chibi experiment. It's just so cute!
