i called the elec. comp. and the guy took all the info, and as we get ready to hang up, he says "well, no one else has called" now remember what i said, i didnt' get home till AFTER MIDNIGHT.

Yep today is Mardi Gras! :D Sucks I had to work though lol. If I had been off I would have just stayed in my pjs and watched the parades on the news. :P I've been enjoying my king cake though and I'm waiting for the price of crawfish to go down a bit before splurging on it. :)

oh haha ... well it does happen. I get crabby at times and snappy too so I do get it. and you aren't kidding about reading from a sheet. I used to work at a call center and they always had some script to read from.

That moment when... you check out your wardrobe and notice a cw there and don't know how you got it or how it got there. (I wonder if I was gifted this item during lumi and didn't realize it) It sure is a pleasant surprise.

love the new HA, saw your mardi gras one yesterday, I never know when that is going on :) it was pancake day for us and Joshy reminded us, actually made fresh ones for a change, all be it a mix that you just need to add milk to it, was a chocolate mix, Joshy loved it, shannon not so keen

YES! , I was getting ready to dress for the chinese new year, but then i found out it was fat tuesday, so i did that. heh. you in hong kong (how COOL. How Scary right now) and me in the United States. lol we each celebrated 'our countries' holiday.

I find with me, it's usually when some sort of event is going on, and I'm trying to do 3 things at once, and have to empty my inventory quickly.

yup I also do that ... emptying my inventory quickly. I am wearing the new cw now it is the wallpaper background. Its really pretty and cool. I think it will go with a lot of stuff.

and yeah I did work at a call center for over 3 years. I was good at it but it is super stressful. I had a breakdown and quit at one point. of course I also have terrible anxiety and panic attacks as well as health issues. I think now being on social security is so much easier. I can volunteer to help the Deaf community and I love it so much better than working and dealing with all the stress. I do miss working sometimes. but with my physical and emotional limitations it was so diffcult during that last year of work I did at the call center and then the restaurant. I just couldn't do it anymore. IT took my last boss telling me to go get help. Which I do appreciate because I needed to hear it.

Lol yeah I love the kitty too. :) Kind of wish it was in a different pose, but yeah I can't tell if it wants a hug or is threatening people with its claws out lol. Seafood vendors always jack up the price for crawfish when there's a big tourist or holiday event going on. For boiled they're going for almost 4 dollars a pound when normally you could get them for around 2. Of course they do that during Mardi Gras and Easter. I wanted a taste though, but I didn't feel like going to the seafood store so I went and bought some at the grocery store Rouses here. The people at my store can't boil anything right so I don't buy it from them. grin
