Yes please! I like to use wishlists to keep track of certain things. It would be really nice to just be able to set certain wishlists as private.

I wish this was a thing. It would be nice to just have private ref's for ourselves if needed be:)

I have a feeling it might be too annoying for the staff to implement too. That's the only downside to it, which sucks because clearly a loooot of people would love to have this feature.

I do have "DO NOT BUY" categories, but if people do a search for an item, they don't see that its in a do not buy category, they only see its on my wishlist.

Yes! I have a lot of things I save to my wishlist just to track items I am missing from holidays shops. Those items are things I dont necessarily want but I want to know what I don't have in case I change my mind. There are things I want to remember as potential things for pet treasures. Overall these items clog up my list and make it hard for people to look through for trades and such.

I'd love to make my entire wishlist private, if I could. ;) Most of it is just stuff I need for pets, and others are just items I'm tracking down (but not things I actually intend to buy.)

I think it would be really nice to have Private Wishlist Categories. There are some things I would like to wishlist because I want to buy them later, but I don't really want others to buy for me. If we had a private section, I could have a "shopping list" of sorts.

Have you guys seen this idea? What do you think?

thanks for the ping. I think, instead of wl maybe make a shopping list that was private. I would use that alot. To me wl is for things you want, but a private shopping list with categories would really be useful.

No, I had not seen this and I love it! If we can't have a private shopping list then yes, the ability to make categories private! 💋

This would help because i use the "search" WL option and if a friends WL pops up I gift them that way. If there was a private WL that didnt show up on searching lists that would be great.

I support either the idea of having a separate 'shopping list' or a separate tabs for privated wishlist sections bc holy crap that would be confusing fast if they were technically different categories but still showed up in the same area.
