Hurray! Backpacking is so much fun! I highly recommend it c: As far as tips: be sure to look up the weather! If it's an area that experiences sudden or unexpected rain, be sure to bring rain gear--even if the weather says it will be nice. Hiking in wet gear is no fun and can be dangerous. Don't forget a rain cover for your pack! Also, cotton is your enemy. No cotton anything! It saps your body's warmth and does not dry quickly. Go with natural fibers like wool or synthetics. Comfortable shoes are a must, I suggest with ankle support depending on terrain. If you are hiking in a woodsy or brush filled area, wear pants even if it's hot. Scraps + bug bites = no fun. Other than that, just be sure to pack your pack well. Balance is key! It's a TON of fun, I hope you get out there soon c:

Ahh, yeah, there's so much stuff on here that I never knew I would ever need until I started making crazy outfits, aha. Mostly I just turn on the all items function if I can't find something that goes and then I buy specific things, but general shopping is really fun on here too. ^_^

Ooh, those both sound really cool! I've mostly traveled in the south and the eastern US and also throughout the Caribbean, which are both pretty interesting but very different!

You get live crickets at a pet store! c: They're actually super easy to find, since a bunch of pet stores sell lizards and stuff like that that eat crickets. I think he's enjoying it, although it's a ton of work. All that practical stuff also means writing up a bunch of practical lab reports, aha.

Aww, thank you! ^^ I actually went through three or four other masks first before deciding that this one was going to be the easiest for me to work with. cx The tights are my favorite part of the outfit tbh, the whole thing was done around the glowspore tights from the Menagerie (which are what's layered underneath a couple other things). ^^ I wish it'd function too, I'm still sort of debating changing the hair and I wanna see my actual outfittt. :c

Well I'd say you did an amazing job with the layering! I couldn't even tell it was the glowspore tights!?! And I can't believe it wont work for you still. D: I wonder why its still so laggy for everyone? So if the wardrobe starts working properly, will you keep with just the one or do you have plans for more beautiful HAs like this one? c:

Cotton isn't super terrible if you're going during a warm season, but I would still recommend a synthetic wicking material. I actually prefer hiking during the winter and fall seasons c: but yes it depends on where you go! Summer camping is extra fun if you go somewhere with shaded woods and water access. Nothing beats jumping in a river / lake after a long, hard hike!

My HA is missing a bunch of items too D: I wish the wardrobe with stop being so glitchy. What has been your favorite item to wear recently?

colds aren't fun to deal with! if your throat hurts, chamomile tea with honey works miracles. gargling salt water does, too.

I really like tights lately because you can create a lot of effects with them, but I also like using and its other colors to layer under the base and then putting another bracelet(s) on top and using that to give the bracelet little charms. (i actually have one of those on rn!)
