I'm waiting for the day I can get Lasik surgery done. It is expensive, though, but it is worth it. Just... Need the money, lol. I'm "technically" legally blind in the state I live in, though the eye doc never put it down since I could still see well enough to drive, so long as I have contacts or glasses on. They haven't gotten too much worse over the years, it's slowed down a lot, and hasn't progressed any in about 5 years or so... Granted, the last time I had them checked was about 3 years ago. Heheheh...

Contacts aren't that bad, though. Hard to get used to. Worst part is when cat hair gets stuck under them. >_<

You're not supposed to leave contacts in any longer than a day, but being poor, I have learned to make them last, lol. Constantly taking them in and out ruins them (I'm not really all that gentle.) So... I just keep my eyeballs clean!

I've been getting Melody Items... They're not worth a whole lot right now, but most are plushies, so at least they're useful for something, I suppose. I have gotten a few crappy items, though. :(

Cat hair can get stuck under them? D: My boyfriend wears contacts too and I think he has some that you can keep in a little longer (they're more flexible so more air gets to the eye or something?) Maybe they have some good deals for some of those? :(

Yeah, I tried contacts like those and they dried out too quick for me. It works for most people, but, well, I just gotta be one of the unlucky ones lol. I need to get the ones that are super moist - they're meant for astigmatism (which I have in my right eye. Basically, everything with light has an aura and my depth perception is off a wee bit. If I try to grab something without my contacts in or glasses on, I totally miss. I've ran into a lot of things in my life...)

As for discounted contacts, I am able to get free shipping and a bulk order discount through a website. :) I still have about a years' worth of contacts stashed.

I haven't gotten any cute Melody clothing, except maybe a wig. It's cute, just not something I think I would use. I'm gonna sell it later, I think.
