Yes on all counts, but none of that matters. The problem is not that the rates were nerfed, I actually agree that the 100% rate was too generous. The problem is that they were nerfed without anyone saying anything. Not coming right out and telling us just comes across as trying to be sneaky. Doesn't matter if that wasn't the intent; that's how it came across.

The very fact that we CAN figure out ourselves just makes it more baffling to me that nothing was said. Why not come right out and say, 'Oh by the way, we nerfed the chances of getting crystals' in the news post if that was going to be discovered very quickly anyway? What is the point of NOT mentioning it?

I did wonder if the 'if you want to risk it' line was a hint that the chances had changed, but an ambiguous hint is not the same as being upfront.

I've more or less stopped playing Subeta so it doesn't matter to me either way what the rates are. And yeah, I imagine if they had been honest about this from the start, lots of people would still be complaining about the rate change. But in the situation we're in now, players are still complaining AND staff has made themselves look shady for no good reason.

Was I able to figure out the ratio was changed just by reading the news post? Yes.

But do I think there should've been a clearer announcement? Yes.

I did always think it was odd that the ratio was 1:1 but hey I fragged all that cheap Moro candy for days so I can't complain 😆

I pretty much agree with what Rakumel and what some others have said.I noticed the change the other day while fragging a bunch of items.I really hate these sneaky changes,and the lack of an announcement.

I am going to state that the rarities for Holiday and Game items SHOULD be returned back to the 1 crystal/item. This is a terrible change and is a real disappointment and should be reverted back. What's the point on having these items if you can't even get guaranteed 1 crystal/item now? The amount of crystals needed for things in the Fragging shop is high enough without the added frustration that you can't even get guaranteed crystals from holiday/game items. Are these Crystal Shop items going to be extremely elusive, now, too? I thought the whole point on bringing items back into the Crystal Shop was to help bring the cost of the items down. Now they're going to be as elusive now as they were back before they were brought back! Come on! XS I have a lot of holiday stuff that I would LOVE to frag. Now, however, I'm scared to even do that. I don't like the thought that these items aren't going to get the crystals they deserve. It's awful :/
