Well, that sucks if you've been hoarding things to frag. I agree, it would have been nice if there would have been an announcement about the change.

Why add more fraggables if the ratio will be reduced at the same time, I wonder.

If the rates were 50% and changed to 100%, I don't think this thread would exist.

It would have been nice if we were warned or told explicitly that the rates were getting/got nerfed, but we are capable of figuring this out ourselves aren't we?

Turned in a lot, got back about half (I think I turned in 385 items and got back 191 ?), so yeah I'd say 50% as well. I thought it was odd that it was a 1:1 ratio before. I figured they would have made it smaller, ahaha... But I do agree it should have been clarified somewhere when it was done.

If this were 1:2 and was changed to 1:1, this thread would exist except it would be a thank you thread; possibly still a mention of not being announced somewhere.

I agree with When I frag I usually do a very large amount at time, so wouldn't have been happy with the lack of info. When there is a major change it just seems the right thing to do to let us know. Thanks for bringing this up.

Just a line in the news that the r175 and r160 had changed. It would have been cryptic like "it seems the fragger's not so keen on all those game and holiday items anymore."

Yeah I was a little surprised when I received closer to a 1:2 ratio after my initial race to buy the cheap crystals.

I don't mind that it was changed, but I do mind that we weren't explicitly informed that it had been changed. Wording a related news post in the form of a hint doesn't cover it.

It would have been nice to know so that we can make an informed decision before trying to frag items of this rarity. I'm glad I was pinged to this thread to find out, but would have appreciated a siteupdate ping, at the least. =/

yay for heads up. i have been wondering for a while that perhaps this constant silent changes is why it is so hard to find guide for subeta online.

This is very disappointing news on all accounts! As a longtime subeta user it angers me that the site would make such a drastic change to the rate of an established currency & not inform us or give us any warning about the change. It just seems a bit secretive or even dishonest to change something like this without saying anything, but instead trying to distract us with a news post about how certain items are now able to be dragged. Very sneaky subeta! ??

Even the guides on the forums are often woefully out of date. Anyone trying to maintain a guide would have a hell of a time with it, since half the time this sort of important info is buried in dead forum threads or was never made clear in the first place. If only the rest of the site had admins and community members as dedicated and forthright as the battle community, this nonsense wouldn't happen so much.

There's a reason that game updates always come with patch notes, even for miniscule changes. Things like this make a big difference to players. Subeta is a game, not just a cash shop or a CW marketplace or whatever. When you change the game mechanics players should be informed.

I would have still complained. Last time they changed items to produce more crystals, I didn't know until after they reduced it again. Had I known I would have fragged a bunch of items I didn't bother with because the ratio didn't favour it - except it did and I just didn't know it because I was using old outdated info.

It certainly would have been a good thing to post the change explicitly when they added coda crystals to the fraggable list.

Oh... yeah it would've been nice to know about this without the need of this thread.

An announcement on a 50% nerf would be nice... just reducing it slightly would/may have gone unnoticed.

All changes to game mechanics should be announced or at the very least (and I do mean least) siteupdate should be pinged.

When buying items to frag, I have a top price to pay based on the ratio/chance of getting a crystal. I don't mind changes being made but it would be nice to be told so I can adjust what I'm happy to pay for an item accordingly.

I was so pissed off when I fragged 600 gems and only received 300 crystals. That stupid STUPID remark in the news was insulting. If you're going to make a change like that for the love of God have the integrity to own it. Sneakiness just makes my flesh crawl. I fragged 1 of Rosemary's birds and got nothing so you definitely have to frag an even number.
