I started at tier 4 to train mostly health and then as I set a goal to beat the next opponent I would calculate if it would be more efficient to train STR/DEF or HP I thinkt he approximate builds I went through were somethign along the lines of :
300/300/300/300 900/300/300/300 900/300/500/300 900/700/700/300 1200/700/700/400 2000/1200/900/700
Something along those lines. I had spread sheet set up to see if I would get more benifit from training 100 HP or DEF and I basically went through iterations of that, and adding STR as I encountered opponents whose healing I could not break through.

Personally, I don't think it's worth training up health with the early on default or unlockable opponents. They don't go away so you have plenty of time to keep training until you can beat them. Once you start boosting, you will have to keep boosting health because you will quickly go beyond leveling at the training center, unless you are boosting level too and that just becomes expensive. I wouldn't start until you only have like 3-4 training sessions a day when boosting and experience becomes your main way to gain stats. It's also worth boosting for harder event challengers. If you keep hoarding your boosters while training even and you see an extremely hard or impossible challenger come out during an event that you know you can beat if you boost health, then boost health. Always go for the chance at special loot if you can and since you kept training all your other stats you will do more damage and last longer than if you hadn't.
[edit] To add to that, I literally saved up a ton of boosters and exp when I became active in battling again until I knew I had enough saved up to get me to tier 11. I did it to take on extremely hard/ impossible challengers and be able to use 100% of my armory. The latest time is really up to you and how patient you are.
There is no 1 correct way to train but most people here have an opinion :P Here's mine with an example of how I would train a single pet:
Number Four Level: 561 Health: 1386 Strength: 1416 Defense: 1416 Speed: 1389 Intelligence: 1585
Tier: 9 Rank: 1,193
This pet, my 19th, is currently getting the first 20 BQs every day. I use the EXP to train str, def, and sometimes spd. I use the training center to train health and sometimes spd. I only use boosters to train level since they are usually so cheap, which is something I've done consistently for the past 7.5 years with various pets.
I would reverse this process at around 1800 in all stats, using all EXP for health and the training center for str, def, and spd. Then my health could grow faster but I still have a very good base set of stats that will keep growing.
I would use intel boosters as soon as you get them, level boosters when needed, but I would save any other booster until t8 or maybe a little later
Much appreciated for the detail and variety of the response! That gives me a much better idea of what to do with Brugmansia.
Also thank you for outlining the booster/training center/exp splits for raising stats because I wondered how that was manageable levelwise
the reason to rush with them is that the bq exp builds much faster. With those builds I was gaining 15-20 stats per day in bqs.
You can train much faster
.[Edit] Faster per day played. I only have a tier 8 because I play for a month then leave for several months :p

You're welcome, ! and remember that the only strategy that doesn't work is quitting! Any progress moving forward is good, whatever way you train. Good luck! :)
Done with Xotl Prince.
Now trying to get my BQs. and normal quests done in a bit :)
that strategy works occasionally too! like entering a battle against aboxalypse with no weapons or scrolls attached. :dmg:dark:
hahaahaaaha !! oops that will be a forfait then i guess :)
You have defeated Prodigy
Alex the Great Dragon earned 3500 EXP Points!

I got bitten by a cosplay bug and as a result missed almost 10 pages of BC chat stuff, not to mention 4 days of BQs. Oops. And I ran myself out of sP to train my pets. Time to go questing I guess.
Is it swelling? Make sure you sterilize it so it doesn't get infected.
- Naw, it's good. I don't react to bug bites the way my sister does. (I also don't stress out about cosplaying as much as she does, kinda glad she's not here while I clutter up the whole house with various cosplay pieces. Yesterday I completely disassembled a pair of roller blades. Fun times.)
My mom and gf get bitten a lot, I don't so much (maybe I should shower more often....)
- lol. Yeah, my sister and dad get bitten a lot, I think it has to do with blood type, they are both O, the rest of my family is A. But even when I do get bitten, I rarely get itching or swelling. I bet the Xotl prince could help reduce the bug population. Hopefully between questing and selling loot I can make enough sP to get the orb to unlock him.
Yeah they like type O blood, forget if it's + or - they like though. I'm not sure what type I am.
Good luck! I bet if you did quests today and tomorrow you'd get enough from just that
My mom gets bitten a lot and she's an O- (the rest of us are O+). She likes to joke that it's because of her rare blood type. Maybe she's right :P
- And quests just reset! I had only done Maleria and was halfway through wizard, but double maleria bonus quest will be pretty sweet.
goddamn I didn't want to do quests :X but guess I have to now
yeah I think she's right about that actually, it must be o- they like
- 15x - 8 reg quests still usually takes me less time than 30x BQs. I don't have a GA right now, so it's only 10 for me... but I keep getting interrupted by having too many items in my inventory.
