Are the restockers bleeding Book Nook dry or is there legit something wrong with it? Last restocked 15 min ago and only bookmarks in stock?

lately, for certain time of the day it seem somebody bleeding certain shops dry. if you are lucky, your favorite shop is undisturbed when you login. i don't like what happens too.

I think there are a few things going on. First, Alexander started asking for multiple books, which brought the prices of books up. Then, with the every-quest-weekend-quest for four days, more people than usual were doing library quests. Because of those two things, restockers have noticed the high prices and are buying all the books from the book nook.

Prices will go down soon; it'll be like the usual spike in prices after a weekend quest, although it might take a bit longer than usual.

(this is also true for other shops as well, not just book nook)

Were quests supposed to be WSQ today? Because they weren't for me. That news post did say until MONDAY so I had thought Monday would be the "last" day. But nope...no WSQ today

- "Until Monday" meant through Sunday. Monday is never included in WSQs.

This issue was in the making for a little while now, and the Book Nook being sucked dry of inventory is only a side effect of the real problem (heads up, the other shops outside of Book Nook and Avalanche Emporium are stocked just fine - not really sure why people think there's some big RSing issue in the other shops too?). Book prices started changing awhile back when the vending changes were put in place. Blue Sky used to vend way more books at higher rarities than it does now, and that was the catalyst for the price fluctuations. Now we are seeing prices going way higher than they should because for some reason Alexander is now asking for a second book with some of his quests, and on top of that Alexander's pool of books to request doesn't actually include all of the books available in NPC shops onsite (including the Book Nook). Staff could pretty easily fix the current issue by adjusting the quantity of inventory in the Book Nook and revising Alex's list of requested books to include all books in every NPC shop up to a certain rarity. I'm guessing that it will probably be addressed at some point, so it's probably a short-term problem. When it comes to fixing issues, my guess is that trees are the focus right now. Library quests will likely just have to wait a bit.

since the vending changed i have been getting 1 book to 20 plushies or beanbags whatever they are. Im glad I read all those books to my pets wouldnt want to do it now.

Changing the Library quests back to one book at a time would help a lot.

I like it. Finally I´m able to see all books and the ones I still need to read to my pet. The Book Nook is finally not crowded by lots and lots of books. And RSing is finally worth the time too!

Long book restock times don't help. Restocked: 25 minutes ago, and there are no books!

- It's now 59 minutes since the Book Nook restocked. Could you please look into book restocks and library quests once the Luminaire Trees gifts have been sorted out?

I might be a minority here, but I don't quite see the problem. I've been restocking in the book nook the past couple of days and I thought that the time between restocks wasn't all that bad. Same with the quantity of items each restock. It's rather worthwhile restocking at the book nook at the moment, with almost each item resulting in profit one way or another, so I think that results in the store emptying quickly after each restock.

Edit: I've been eyeing the book nook for a few hours, seeing as how a lot of complaints in this thread seem to concern the times between restocking, and, to me at least, it seems to be restocking fairly regular. Mostly between 20 and 30 minutes, with a quick restock within 10 minutes after that.

The Book Nook being emptied at every restock means that even common books are being artificially inflated.

i'm also curious about this. a few months ago, no shop ever get cleared up. i start noticing since a few weeks ago. it was at certain time. but now it almost 24 hours empty. other shops were getting bought almost empty as well. is it a group of people was doing this? or is it some kind of autobuyer program?

i don't believe a single person was doing this manually. god knows i tried. and fail. i love my fingers the way it is.

For real. I had a copy of The Sick Clawsion in my shop and it autopriced, apparently, at 5,000,000 sP. I didn't notice until after it sold. I won't name names, but I'm trying to get in touch with the buyer to give them back some of that because that's robbery. I would've never priced it that high if I had done it manually.
