That's awesome that you've finished, and just in time to be with your family. Have all of your sisters made it home?

Do you work as a nurse then, ? Are you pretty busy during the holidays?

I was the last one to come home. commutes to school so she didn't have to travel back home. Our other sister was abroad in Italy and she came back two days before I did. :)

I'm actually a paramedic, but as I'm also a full time student, I can't keep up ambulance hours (12 hour days, 14 hour nights), so I work in a clinic assessing patients and administering treatments, as well as helping physicians with procedures. I like it - scrubs are so much more comfy than my EMS uniform lol.

We're actually unusually quiet so far this year during the last little while. We usually see a lot more patients around Christmas, but apparently everyone's doing well this year!

Are you going to school for something medical related? I'll bet that's still very busy! And it's awesome that you've remained slow. No one wants to be at a clinic this time of year.

I'm finishing up my BSc biology with an earth science minor. I started school with the intention to go into medicine, but I've fallen in love with marine biology and conservation, so I'm hoping to do a Masters in that area after I'm done with this degree. I still want to stay involved in medicine, though, so I'll likely keep a casual job on the ambulance or at a clinic just to keep up my license.

I feel like one answer should be lemon sherbet candies LOL

That would be a very neat career path. The medical field might help you if you end up working with marine life too. Are there specific places/companies you'd like to work in?

I'm looking into marine conservation, particularly marine invertebrate conservation. Ocean acidification is a HUGE problem right now, and I'd love to be able to find solutions to help save our coral reefs and all manner of invertebrates calling them home. My favorites are the nudibranchs. <3
