We do have a real tree. We've also decorated the trees in our yard, put up some inflatables on the lawn, hung up strings of lights throughout the house, and put out all of the Christmas themed candle holders we have. It's getting really festive!

Wizarding World was amazing!! There were crowds like you'd see at any amusement park but it wasn't so bad. The trick is to get there riiight when it opens.

Everyone's houses sound so festive! I'm going to my parents this weekend to help them decorate ^_^ It's going to be a blast!

I could have been able to get funding to decorate the floor but my theme house e-board (I'm co-president of my theme house) didn't decide to decorate it because we were having a holiday collaboration with another theme house. Hopefully I can decorate my dorm more next year.

My family used to decorate the outside of our house but we don't anymore. We have these reindeer light outdoor decoration (I'm not really sure what to call them) that we would place outside. We also have an advent calendar somewhere. We've never used it.

That's descriptive enough haha, I know exactly what kind of lighted reindeer thing you mean. We used to have a beautiful one, too, but it was badly vandalized a couple of years ago and we haven't been able to fix it. It makes me sad that people would do something like that, especially at Christmas time.

Yes, thankfully this year all the holidays have gone off without a hitch, so we're hopeful that they've gotten over their vandalism phase.

I just watched the new Star Wars movie. I thought it was great, although I have so many questions that I need to look up.

The dino paper is definitely the best paper. I really hope you feel better by tomorrow! It was my grandmother's Christmas tree, so we've had it for a while. That is wonderful that you decorated your yard. I love walking through towns where a lot of the homes are lit up outside. It's magical! Also, you are correct about the Chocolate riddle! That sounds awesome. I would definitely want to go there right when it opened in order to take advantage of everything. What time of year did you visit?

I love walking down the streets and seeing houses decorated, too. We have one street in particular in town called Candy Cane Lane where everyone goes to crazy lengths to dress their houses and they're absolutely beautiful. I love driving down there in the winter, or parking nearby and walking down to see all the work people have gone to. It's a lot of fun.

Candy Cane Lane sounds amazing! Every time I see outrageously decorated houses, I always think of The Grinch when the Whoville neighbor uses that stringed light machine. I love the process of decorating. The season feels so fresh once you place a few pieces around the house.
