I just saw your message about my work. I love where I work most of the time. I especially like the woman I work closest with. They are just a company that cuts all the corners and doesnt take loyalty into consideration and doesn't seem to value training and knowledge over the dollar they can save. Makes it hard to "fight to stay"

Thanks for the kind words. I tend to love a job for about a year and a half before the politics starts to ruin it for me. :/

That's great whether ! It's staying around 32 here and I'm happy for that this time of year here. Great news that you're home and will soon have the diverticulitis cleared up with antibiotics. My granddaughters got home safely, praise God. The 3 hour drive from Calgary here was not easy. It was dark and snowing so hard that visibility was poor. They had a half hour wait because there was an accident at one point. Others who were on the road earlier had a three hour wait for the accident to be cleared up. Its such a relief to have them home. They've been enjoying walking in the snow and taking pictures.

I'm with you ! I just realized tomorrow is Christmas Eve. Just doesn't seem right that it's so soon and one a Thursday. Should be a Saturday and Christmas should be on Sunday. :)

Yay! I am off for 4 days. I get Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and then I am always off on the weekends, unless I work overtime. Have a wonderful Christmas everyone!

We had a severe thunderstorm last night. That rain was just pouring down. Just glad that it wasn't below freezing or it might of turned out to be a snowstorm. We get alerts on our land line phone whenever the weather is bad enough to merit it and this one did.

So I hope everyone gets all the pressies they asked for and no coal in the stocking.

I did a little bit of grocery shopping this morning at a local supermarket. OMG, it was crowded but I did manage to get in and out within an hour. I have to remember, do not go grocery shopping on Christmas Eve....

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! For some reason, I'm feeling really down this year and haven't gotten in the mood to celebrate the holiday as much as usual. :( Right now I'm sitting at home with my dogs. I should be going to my neighbor's house in a bit for her annual Christmas Eve party for an hour or so. Hope everyone has a good night
