"WOOOOO!!! GO PEOPLE GO!!!" said Hannah entering through the doors with popcorn, she sat down and watched with anticipation. Demeogo was walking behind her with a drink in his hand. He looked at Hannah's head which had light brown hair almost blondish and a little wand hair barrette in it. "What was she thinking with those shoes, their green! She could have gone with brown despite them being darker," thought Demeogo to himself. "Why did you choose green shoes today Hannah?" asked Demeogo to Hannah without thinking. "Well who knows what might come out of their wands! What if its something gross and green and it gets on my shoes?" She asked him. "Oh shoot I should have thought of that," thought Demeogo looking at him shirt now second guessing his choice of a black shirt. Hannah was gleaming looking at platform and the two people who where on it.
Lyn's first spell headed towards him and he shouted "Protego" the shield charm worked perfectly and it bounced off harmlessly. "Expelliarmus," he replied back watching her wand sail out of her hand. His heart was racing. Thinking on his feet like this was exhilarating with the rush of adrenaline.

Lyn felt sweat run down her face. This first duel was truly an experience like no other. Retrieving her wand, she got back into position. "Stupefy!" A burst of red light leapt out of her wand towards Magnus... or rather over Magnus. "I really need to work on my aim," Lyn cursed mentally as Magnus waved his wand. Without a second thought, Lyn shouted "Protego!" and watched as the spell dissipated against the invisible shield.

(OOC: I don't want these duels to be too long, since we still have two more duels to roleplay. How about you both say a move and I'll flip a coin to see who succeeds. I think I'll make each duel be about five moves.)

"Petrificus Totalus!" Lyn barely had enough time to react as she shouted out what she hoped would be a good counter. "Impedimenta!" She managed to land a hit, slowing Magnus' wand movement just enough for her to declare "Expelliarmus!" seconds before Magnus' spell hit her.

“The duel has ended. Lyn is the winner of this duel. Congratulations, Lyn and Magnus, that was a great duel to watch.”

"We'll take a small break before our next duel. Aderyn () and Lyn will duel together next. Everyone, please feel free to grab some snacks and stretch."
He bowed again, "great match. Congratulations on winning." Panting he wandered off to get a drink.
