Nah, even as a mod we didn't really get insider information haha, that's mostly just admins that do! I wish, though. Jules and I are dying for each other to see our presents, we went insane this year, we both put more than 400 items in each other's tree!! We're just screaming internally now. Right, ?

we stayed the night at my parents' house, opened gifts in the morning, went to her parents' house in the late morning, then came back in the late afternoon to my parents' house. at the end of the day we went home.

Yeah, I'm cheesed off at the Subeta staff especially because they're hastening to push this tree fix... at the expense of the users. From what I heard, it may not be possible for names to show up with gifts, so we may not know who gave us what. I would be super upset if that were the case. And like said - any update, even "we're still in the dark, hang in there" would be greatly appreciated.

I'll have to check the Hallmark down at the mall for them, then! I'd love to have some around. Don't get me wrong, I love snow, but sometimes I just want WARM winter fun instead lol.

See that kinda sounds like what we did. We went to my husband's grandma's house first thing in the morning Christmas Eve spent the whole day together, spent Christmas Morning with them until like noon and then went home cooked and my parents came over for dinner. My husband's stepmom when we were leaving said we were very rude for leaving on Christmas day....and it really ticked me off. lol

You should they should be half price. I love them, who knew 7 young adults could have so much fun throwing balls at each other for hours on end XD

How is that rude... It's hard trying to split time between both families but in no way is it rude to spend a day with one and leave on xmas to spend time with the other. Sounds kinda selfish on her part.

It left a really sour taste in my mouth, they also got Thanksgiving completely, my family didn't see us that day but had no problem doing the holiday the Saturday before.

Sooo... she said they were getting Christmas next year so they don't get Thanksgiving and I'm sure we will hear all about it then too ug lol

It would leave a bad taste in mine too. Thankfully neither of our families are like that, they are both understanding (I think)

I mean his grandma just kept saying she was gonna miss us being there and his dad always makes a big deal about how good the food will be that we are missing but his step-mom wow lol. We even invited them to come to our night Christmas but they have their friends over for Christmas so they "have" to do it at their house. Haha Guess it shouldn't bug me so much but it did. My family is very understanding, ok its a different day we still get to see each other. I know they are going to want Christmas and Christmas Eve next year and that isn't going to happen.

I see my parents almost every day as it is so they understand. They gotta realize you have your family too, who cares how good the food is :p If they won't accept splitting the time then that's really frustrating cuz you're just doing your best to spend time with everyone

Exactly, which is why we wanted just both families to come together at our house for dinner. So difficult. It worked so easily the way it was but it is what it is I suppose. They aren't going to be happy one way or the other. Same thing happened last year, my husband stopped talking to his grandma for almost two weeks because, he spent time with my family and not his, we did the same thing last year, and said that I had a ring in his nose. -dies-

They're being selfish, not much you can really do to change their mind. Hate when that kind of thing happens though.

That's why we tried to have them all in one place but that wont work cause his dad "has to do it at his house" Sooo guess we will see what happens next year lol

That is a question I may bring up but it would be awkward for Christmas I feel like because both families wont be getting gifts for both families? We shall see when it comes around haha. His family invites friends over for Christmas too so there may not be enough space.

Gifts could be something small, a food item or something generic from your family to his and his family to yours. It depends if your families get along. My gf's family hates being out and I think is a bit intimidated by my parents though they're very nice.

Haha yes, we are rather cute. xD Annoyed now that there's a Token Shop post on the news now with absolutely no mention of the trees... just ACKNOWLEDGE the problem at least FFS... For all we know they're not even working on it. I mean, I'm sure they ARE, but telling us SOMETHING, even "We don't have a clue yet, sorry guys"... bah.
