I was just browsing about earlier, and then I headed off to work, too. I'm finally home now. :) It was a long day but a good one. I'm excited to have tomorrow off to take it easy a bit!

Haha, fair enough! Normally I'd actually be rather looking forward to working more, but I've just gotten off of a 3 month medical leave and these last two days were my first days back to work since September, so it was a lot at once. I'm glad to be taking it a bit slower at first before going back to life in full swing in January!

I love to dance! I took classes for several years and was in a folk dance troupe for the majority of my childhood and teen years. I miss it! So now, when I get a chance to dance, it makes me SO happy! And it's even better that it was with the love of my life to one of my favorite slow songs of all time. <3

Absolutely. I'm the kind of person who never stops going and doing, so to have to be stuck at home recovering from eye surgery and mostly blind for a few months was awful. Thankfully my vision is almost back to perfect and I'm getting back to real life. :D I am going to miss hanging out here all the time, though, lol.

oh wow! What kinda eye surgery was it! That's a long recovery time!

It was a second surgery. I had a retinal detachment and I had the first surgery at the very beginning of September, and because it impacted my vision so badly (they had to put an oil into the eye to help with healing, but you can't see through oil and it doesn't get absorbed so I had to have a second surgery a few weeks ago to remove the oil) I had to be off work. I healed very quickly after the more recent procedure, though, and all's well! I get headaches now when I read because I'm getting used to seeing and focusing again, but my surgeon said those will pass with time.

Thanks! Freedom feels great, though I'm not really free until tomorrow night. I have a medical procedure I have to have done tomorrow that I'm really nervous about (nothing major, but I hate hospitals and I've never really had anything done before), but after that woooooooooo!

You have no idea how badly I want to play the Sims right now xD I shouldn't before work though, I might never leave my desk haha.
