He's very cuddly, pretty much needy but I LOVE IT! He's just lately getting squirley. I think he's coming into his own.

I won't have any proper rest until Christmas when I'm going to my fiancée's house so I can avoid my 'rents and the stress.

Nope but hopefully it pays off at some point. It's been such a mess.

Yeah he's pretty good at that. I'm still doing my constant worrying though. After losing both my pets, I don't know if I can ever shake that fear that I'll loose him before it's time.

Just remember you need the money and when things are paid for you can start to relax a little. When I lost my Guinea Pig I was heartbroken and it scares me to think I will lose Thumper but I know like all life, it has to end sometime. I just hope he won't be in pain!

No pain and a long happy life with us. That's all I can ask.

Yes! That's exactly the best thing to want. To show them they are loved, cared for, safe and that they are happy and healthy!

We had a small episode tonight in trying to let him be outside but in my arms, I'm not sure what was in his mind but he wasn't happy about it. Very odd..

Did he not want to be outside? Or was it that you were holding him outside and he wanted to be free to explore?

I understand keeping him in your arms so he can get used to sights, sounds and smells before he is allowed to explore on his own. That way he shouldn't get lost on his first exploration.

Apparently not, which is really odd...he was a stray for quite some time. But he wanted to hide under a car or get away and inside. Scratched me up something fierce.

But I don't get it, he's always running when the door makes noise, sniffing outside air, and watching out the window.

Maybe it was a smell or sound that was making him scared that you couldn't sense due to our senses being less sensitive than theirs.
