OOC: Oh boy, kay so I'm going to a funeral tomorrow, might be on in the morning if there's replies during the day, that's why I'm absent.
Weylyn was sort of nervous about the whole telepathic conversation; never was a fan, but he did understand the use for it. 'Weylyn. Do you know how to get to my camp area? I should run ahead and let my father know that you guys are coming in so you don't get attacked.', Now was the hard part how to respond...Hmmm. Weylyn new the general location of the campsite, but never entered it. He was sure he could track her scent while they were on their way, but how to explain all this to her in the moment that they had... He nodded his head cautiously, hopefully that was good enough to let her know he sort of did. He turned his attention on the scruffy injured wolf, the girl from the pack, and the fragile kid. Oh man was this going to be a long day.
"Do you have anything that we could use to stabilize his weight while we carried him?" he questioned eyeing Mels bag, "If we're going to carry him without further help then I suggest; placing the man stomach down on my back, I can manage his weight, and I am big enough for this to work. " He finished sitting down in the process, otherwise the other option would have to take some time; he could change into man form and grab under arm while someone carried the mans feet this was also doable. He was filled with ideas, but which one was the safest? They could also find two large planks of wood strap some heavy fabric around the two pieces creating a homemade stretcher, place it on Weylyns back while someone else carried the feet and carefully drag him out that way? Weylyn eyed the boy he looked pretty soft, so asking him to lift the man on his back would be useless, they needed everyone to help lift him up. Though the man seemed to be at odds with them taking him some where unfamiliar, due to his recent state Weylyn had no objections to take him to the safe zone it made him chuckled a little bit to see how flustered the guy was just moment before, 'how silly' he thought walking over to Mels side hopefully they would be able to figure a way to bring him over to the safe zone, before the humans decided to check this part of the woods. [-viola]
Victoria gave a small nod to Weylyn, letting out a small chuckle for she knew he struggled to find a way to respond. She then picked up on how the injured male started to act around her, with anger and eyes full of hatred.
"The hell makes you think we're going anywhere with you?!" he spatted at her before rising slightly. Her face fell when he said that, filling her with sorrow, knowing very well that a lot of wolves disliked vampires. She noticed he clenched his jaw from pain as he fell to the floor again.
"I just want to help..." she whispered, mainly to herself more to anyone else.
"I'm not a fan of moving him, in case the bullet does more damage. Carry him gently." Victoria nodded at what Mel said in understanding. Her eyes traveled to the man and little boy by Mel. She noticed the tears falling down the pup's eyes and frowned slightly before looking away, feelings tears pricking her eyes some. When she was sure no one was looking, she wiped her eyes quickly before looking at the group again.
"Mel. Weylyn. We can go to my camp for some protection while he heals. I can go ahead of you guys to let the leaders know while you figure out a way to get him there. I trust Weylyn knows the way for the most part. Thoughts?"
OOC: I LOVED your post Jaderiot! It was simply amazing!
Aaliyah sighed she didn't really know what to do. It seemed everyone else had this under control. She was a pack guardian and had come along to ensure the safety of the beta but now it looked like there was other things she be starting to look into.

Toby gladly accepted the girl's open embrace, falling against her side and clutching onto what was left of her shirt as more tears joined the small rivers on his face. He was supposed to be strong and brave and fierce- that's what had been expected of him all of his short life up until six months ago. Being the only son of a highly respected alpha was far from easy. The small boy was expected to hold a position of power over the other wolves in the pack, and to expand that authority until it was time for him to succeed his father. But before he was all of those things, he was still only a child. He was meek and vulnerable. Things that just didn't bother wolves like his father or even Roman still got to him, and there were still times when he just needed to cry and be held. He had been trying his best to maintain his alpha-born status, but it was hard not to be scared when humans were constantly chasing you down and driving you out.
That was another reason he couldn't lose Roman. The wolf seemed to realize, more than the other members of his pack, that he was young and impressionable. That exposure to violence and becoming calloused to the world wasn't necessarily what the boy needed. He understood that Toby needed to be strong and absolute- the rank of alpha demanded it; but those things would come in time with his training. Right now, he had been more focused on the good of life rather than the bad. Even if these strangers couldn't see that because his first job was guardian, and he had been trying to fulfill that role while injured and aggravated.
"I'm not a fan of moving him, in case the bullet does more damage. Carry him gently."
Toby's grip tightened on the fabric of her shirt. He knew that, with the threat of the humans returning, they couldn't stay here in the forest. Roman had left quite the trail of blood and broken brambles. They would be easy to track. But the idea that moving the wolf might further his injury made the pup's stomach drop.
"If Toby, right? Will allow it I'll stick with him until this guy gets better."
The pup looked up at her, giving her a nod at his name, dirty blonde layers whipping about. "I want to stay with Roman!" He squeaked, tears still making his voice much higher than normal. "He needs me to stay with him!" The pup was what kept the wolf sane. Most wolves of Roman's rank would go crazy without being under the authority of an alpha. It wasn't his fault, his inner canine just needed the guidance. He would become lost if he didn't have that hierarchy. Roman may have been his protector, his guardian, his disciplinary, his teacher, and even a second father at times; but when all was said and done, Toby was Roman's alpha.
He moved back to the unconscious wolf's side as the three discussed the best way of transport. The blood from the wound had started to blossom against the outer layers of the wad of fabric. Roman had lost applying pressure when he passed out, and no one seemed to notice that he was bleeding heavily again. Toby whimpered as he pressed both hands against the length of shirt. "Please hurry!" His voice cracked. "He's bleeding again."
The pup drew in a sudden breath, blinking his wet eyes and lifting his head to the air. He took in a long whiff of the forest, and caught the most peculiar smell. It was human...but...not? It was vampire...but...not. And there was wolf mixed in. His eyes wandered, vision still blurred with tears, until they set upon a new stranger that was a few paces off from the others. Blonde hair and blue eyes, and looking like she wanted to help, but didn't know how. She wasn't joining in the conversation on how to move Roman, she was just watching.
Toby flicked his gaze to the still pooling crimson on the fabric. His tiny hands couldn't produce enough pressure to clot the wound. He turned back to the girl. "Please come help me. I can't..." He trailed off, glaring down at his useless, small fingers. He couldn't save Roman. Not by himself.
OOC:// I think that's everyone.
Mel caught Weylyn eyeing her pack, "All I have in there are some bandages, my fire stuff, a needles, thread, and some stuff to decorate my den." she told him, shaking her head. "It's not like I planned on finding a wounded guy today." She rubbed Toby's small shoulders, comforting him as his tears dampened the ragged edges of her shirt. "We'll stay near him, don't worry." she murmurred gently. The little boy must really care for the man, she wondered who he was to him besides another packmate, probably family or a protector of the pack she guessed but she kept it to herself.
"Thank you Victoria." Mel said, "It'd probably be the safest place for now. Although I'm not sure that this guy will appreciate it when he comes to." she added, a small twitch of her lip showed a sarcastic smile, she wasn't looking forward to the reactions when he was healed.
The boy's plea brought her attention back to the bleeding man. She quickly knelt down next to him, "It's alright Toby, you're doing fine. Here, I'll do what I can." she told him, gently replacing his hands with hers. "There's bandages in my pack. We can wrap his torso with those before we move him." she suggested. Again she couldn't get to her pack since her hands were tied up in keeping pressure to the bleeding wound. The blood was slowly coming through. It was better than if it had been quickly soaking the cloth but it still wasn't good.
ooc/ I subscribed to the thread, that might make it easier for alerting for new posts in case somebody gets missed
I can't seem to ping your name properly
"We can't stop the bleeding until remove the bullet...,If the bullet isn't removed then the bleeding shall continue. " Aaliyah said in a calm manor. Being a guardian since she was ten she'd seen a lot of damage caused by the humans. Sad thing was what the pack really needed right now was an alpha to lead them through this dark time,But no one with in the pack was gifted with the alphas golden coat....So Beta was the best they had not that Mel was a bad Beta they where amazing at filling the role of beta but they couldn't be both Beta and Alpha. OOC: I just subscribed as well. I haven't been getting any notifications when pinged at all. So maybe this will help.
BIC: Victoria looked around the scene when she felt another presence. She found Aaliyah on the edge of the scene looking a bit lost. She nodded at her slightly, acknowledging her being there before turning back to the others ahead of her.
"Okay. Then I'll be right back. I'll try to meet you guys if you haven't moved yet." she said, scanning around her to make sure that there were no more hunters in the area. She listened for a bit as well since she can hear things from a distant. She said a quick goodbye to everyone while she checked her surroundings.
With that, Victoria ran off to get to her father in time and to make sure the man who disliked her didn't bleed out, leaving the pup Toby by himself. After several minutes of travel time, she finally found herself on the outskirts of the camp, frantically looking around for her father and the others who are the head of the camp. Once she spotted them, she ran over to the group.
"If I may interrupt, I have a favour to ask." she said after regaining her composer. Once she pulled them inside, she explained the situation at hand with the injured wolf they found. After some discussion, they finally agreed to letting the man and pup come into our camp. She thanked them for their time and turned to leave the camp.
(OOC: aww sorry for making you guys wait so long ;o;, thanks for your patience! And also I decided to add another character on my first post if you would so kindly accept his profile for me; I thought it best to have an actual human enemy be role played so were not in the unknown as to what the Humans are doing currently :P All righty!)
Weylyn had hoped there was some kind of miracle in Mels bag to make this journey a little better, but he guessed it wasn't meant to be so the hard way it was going to be then! "Oh well" he let out a soft breath of air stretched his front paws and got up "I'm ready when you are" He gestured to Mel "Right after you bandage him up and get more pressure on that wound, we need to do this as quickly as possible" he finished and turned to acknowledge the boy with sympathy in his eyes and gave him a quick wink "We'll get him back to tip top shape! and see just how angry he's going to be when he wakes up" he gave his best wolfish smile he felt a little more energized and ready to conquer the mission at hand.
Though the kid was in tears and trying to hold them back, Weylyn could see the struggle he was going through needing to be tough, but still too young to take care of matters in his own hands, what a fantastic little guy he thought. A true alpha potential. "Now no more crying, I wouldn't think your buddy here would want you to be in tears now do we? We all have to be strong" he gave the boy another look then turned to Mel "let’s do this" his eyes had turned blue with determination Victoria had already taken her leave to warn the Camp of their arrival, and the Villagers would probably rally up to scout this area soon.
Weylyn wanted to only think of what was in front of him, but thinking of the cubs potential for greatness as an heir to the Alpha rank had only drifted Weylyns to his own heritage, he was the only wolf to be born of golden fur and though no Alpha had taken place in the pack yet it was his time to take the next step, but thinking about it made him furious, he hated the thought of leading the family out there in the wilderness where having one little insignificant mistake could potentially lead the entire pack to its extinction, this had a heavy impact on him and made everything a lot more harder to handle. Something once small as to inheriting the alpha rank was now greatly increased in Weylyns mind.

Toby moved aside and let Mel take over, wiping his eyes dry with the tail of his gray t-shirt. He trusted her strong hands would be able to stop the bleeding. She was Roman's best hope at this point. The girl who smelled like human and vampire and wolf spoke, and Toby glanced up when her calm voice met his ears.
"We can't stop the bleeding until remove the bullet...If the bullet isn't removed then the bleeding shall continue."
Though her voice was even, her words did little to comfort the pup. They had to get the bullet out, or Roman wasn't going to make it. He sniffed away his sobs, wiping down his cheeks. "The hunters said something about silver." He whimpered, holding back more tears as they threatened to fall. "I think they were talking about the bullet." He told them, trying hard to quiet his fear; even though the mention of the silver bullet only made it swell in his throat. He knew the damage silver could do to a wolf. It was a burning metal to their cursed flesh, and the girl was right. It would only continue to seer deeper into Roman's side until it was removed, constantly reopening the wound as his body attempted to heal it. It was probably why he had faded so quickly. The blood loss coupled with the ever-renewed pain had been too much.
The vampire girl took her leave, and Toby turned when he felt a pair of wolf eyes on him. He looked to meet the blue pools of the other male, softly holding his gaze. The male wolf -they had addressed him as Waylyn- was intimidating to the pup; and Toby didn't doubt that the lycan could sense the power that radiated from the him- potentially making him a threat. Even though he was tender and young and small, he had alpha blood in his veins. The demand for respect, especially from other males, was there, no matter age or strength or personality.
But Toby wanted a fight for power just as much as the other male did, which seemed to be not at all. He gave a friendly half-wink as dogs do, and Toby relaxed his shoulders in a sign of peace.
"We'll get him back to tip top shape! and see just how angry he's going to be when he wakes up."
Toby tried to return the male's smile with one of his own human grins, but it seemed off. Some wolves had more instinct than others, and some more connections between their human self and their canine self. It wasn't the individual wolf's fault, as such relations between man and wolf within the psyche typically varied from pack to pack. The pup and Roman both came from a line where the wolf was more ingrained than the human. The fact that Weylyn had showed his teeth at all while in this canid form, even in just a friendly way, made Toby stiffen slightly; but he shook it off.
"He's not...angry." He said quietly, watching as Mel tended to the wound. He turned his eyes back to the wolf. "He's mostly just scared. He just acts angry for me." It was the truth. Roman was rarely angry. Irritated. Maybe even aggravated, but not angry. He had only lashed out because that was the only way he could deal with the uncertainty in such situations. He put up walls, completely blocking himself and the pup from anyone he didn't trust; and it usually came across as either distant or angry.
But no one could blame him for building those defenses and keeping them strong. Toby certainly didn't. They had been through a lot in the past six months. Living out of motel rooms and back packs until their true identities were discovered and they were chased out. This had been the third Motel they had been driven from by angry men who blamed them for the apparent wolf attacks in their town; and where they would go next was uncertain. The trail from their pack had gone cold nearly two months ago, and right now Roman was just trying to stay hidden until they could find their bearings again.
On top of all of that, he had to provide for the pup as well- food and clothing and shelter. If he didn't, a new force threatened to take the boy away. If Roman failed to care for him, the state would claim Toby, and the wolf could only imagine how the pup might fare in the system. Tossed around because of his differences until he was found out and then still killed for what he was.
So Roman had two choices. Build up walls and act tough and scary and angry towards any possible threat, or run the risk of losing the pup. The second was simply not an option.
Mel waited for the bandages, eventually easing a foot out from under herself and hooking a strap around her ankle. She pulled the bag towards her, trying to not cause more damage to Roman or falling herself. With one hand she dug out the cloth wrappings. "Weylyn and Toby, can you help prop him up for me?" she asked, "I need to wrap him and it's a heck of a lot easier with help."
She lay the bandages on the top of her pack and attempted to prop the newcomer up. He was heavier than he appeared and his dead weight made it difficult for her to hold him up. Carefully she unraveled the first bit of bandage and started to wrap, discarding her soaked shirt scrap. It was dirty and unsanitary by now, she didn't want to risk an infection. There wouldn't be anyway to fight it until his own healing kicked in. The wrapping was difficult as she had to move his arms out of the way with each wrap. Eventually he was wrapped to satisfaction and she sat back on her rear. "Now we transport." she commented, trying to work out the safest way to secure him to Weylyn.
Her eyes caught the sight of Aaliyah on the border of the site, "Oh hey, can you help get this fella onto Weylyn? I'm pooped." she asked with a tired smile. "You're right about the bullet, but we need to get to safety first." she added, vaguely remember that she'd mention not being able to heal until the bullet was out.
(OOC: I was curious upon joining everyone but if you all are deep into the rp I understand. , , , , -viola)
(OOC: I honestly wouldn't mind you joining in on this little farce! :3 More the merrier I'll always say! Why don'cha go ahead and set up your skelly so Aaliyah may accept you <3 Can't wait to have you join in!!
And on another note: , , , [-viola] I still need to wait, right? Before replying? >>)

I would be more than fine with you jumping in!
Sorry deary. I was going to have Toby get the bandages for Mel, but I spaced on that. My bad.
I was under the impression that the posting order was pretty loose. I would say you're good to go as long as no one gets left too far behind. ^^
OOC: I would post but since I'm a different area than everyone else, I'm going to wait. Give people time to get Roman taken care of and moving. Then I'll have Victoria go and meet them at a halfway point. Or maybe they already left and she meets them at the entrance of the camp. Depending on how soon I rely. :p Also, if anyone cares, I updated my character skelly so it's a bit more detailed. I look forward to playing with you as well!! I think it'll be a lot of fun!! :)

[-viola] Aaliyah frowned when she was asked to move the wolf, " Are you sure we're using wisdom with moving him while the bullets still inside? " She asked trying to remember her training. It was hard she so wanted to be the best guardian possible, Her own father had even trained her. Being the guardian to the alpha previous who had died...the alpha had been her fathers best friend...,he'd died defending the pack and the alpha. Like any good guardian. Aaliyah was supposed to follow in his footsteps but that was impossible at this point when there was no alpha. She slowly took a couple steps towards the wolf trying to decide if this was wisdom or not.

guys please try to properly ping loser viola rather than myself http://subeta.net/forums.php/read/840868
you're fine, I figured you did something like that. You're characters are so busy!
Weylyn did as Mel asked a little bit stiff, but otherwise fine. He laid close to the ground under Romans arm to prop him up in position for Mel's work. He wasn't an average size wolf. The fact he was part human gained an additional stance in his wolf form.
As a man his height was six feet two inches, his wolf form though accompanying on all fours he did not lack any of his structure he was massive, allowing the dead weight to use him as an anchor he felt it helped Mel concentrate on the wound rather than concern herself to; if the body were to fall over.
With no help coming from the pale blonde "Well not that I would say keep the bullet in his side, but we don't quite have the tools take it out without doing further damage and potentially killing him..." he said looking up at Aaliyah. It was apparent Weylyn and Mel had to take care of this matter alone... Well Toby could kind'a help?
When Mel started to finish up the bandages, Weylyn was preparing himself for the enormous weight he would be carrying for a while, at Mel's words; "Now we transport." Weylyn’s ears went back for a split second as he winced with anticipation, "Ready as ever" he replied almost needing this to be over and done with.
Weylyn had already been under Romans right arm laying completely down now and Romans limp body falling further on top of him, just needing a few nudges and lifts to get the body comfortably on his entire back. Then they could really start to travel.
Weylyn looked back to see how far the body needed to go "Well we're not at an entire loss, I still feel hope in our path" Gesturing to Mel and Aaliyah to finish getting Romans body on him so they could start heading towards Victoria's camp. [-viola ]
OOC: I'm just going to post a short one so my character is moving again. I'll just make her move slowly though.
BIC: Victoria stepped out of the protection of her camp, making sure her weapons were still there even though she hasn't touched them. She moved slowly through the woods going the way she came so she wouldn't miss the group.
Hard to miss a wolf surrounded by "humans" though. she thought with a small smile and a chuckle.
She was making sure she walked quietly, not stepping on any branches, and listened. She listened for the group or anything else that was out there, like humans. While she was walking, she heard a twig snap. She froze right then and listened to her surroundings. She then deduced that it was a small animal stepping on a twig. She scoffed at herself and proceeded with caution.
OOC: Eh. Good enough. Gives people time to get going and meet my character.
"Weylyn and Toby, can you help prop him up for me? I need to wrap him and it's a heck of a lot easier with help."
Toby scurried around Roman, eager to help Mel in any way he could. He knew he was small; and though he was wolf, the pure strength it took to actually lift Roman was lacking in the boy. But he did what he could to aid the other two wolves in bandaging his protector. Weylyn seemed to have one arm out of the way, so Toby grabbed up the other muscular limb in both of his arms, lifting it with a grunt so Mel could wrap his torso.
"Are you sure we're using wisdom with moving him while the bullets still inside?"
Through a slightly strained brow brought on by the weight he was lifting, Toby raised his blue eyes to the hybrid. "Can you take it out?" He asked, his voice growing still despite the tears that had him sputtering only minutes ago. He knew the answer, and was proving a point; a skill that came naturally to him. He understood that the situation wasn't ideal by any means. There was a risk that the bullet could further hurt Roman if they moved him, as well as the risk that infection would set in or hunters might find them if they didn't. To quickly remove the bullet, bandage Roman up, and leave for the shelter of the vampire camp would have been a wonderful luxury; but it was one that simply wasn't feasible with the tools and help available right now. Moving Roman was the next best option.
The bandage was secured, and Toby dropped the heavy limb.
"Ready as ever"
The pup helped to the best of his ability, tugging on Roman's shirt to haul him onto the male with help from the other two. Holding Roman's arms into place while the rest of his massive form was situated across Weylyn's strong, furred back. Once his guardian was settled and fairly secure, the pup stepped back to give the wolf room to stand.
His gaze flitted to the path the vampire had taken. She would be easy enough to track. Her smell was not pleasant to the boy. She smelled...cold, and too much like blood. But she had seemed nice, vulnerable even. Her own tears had not gone unnoticed. Toby wouldn't hold her scent against her, and it made following her even easier.
"Well we're not at an entire loss, I still feel hope in our path."
Toby turned and stepped up to the wolf, his shoulder coming to the same level as the massive canine's head. His tiny hands reached out to the soft fur of Weylyn's cheeks, his small fingers disappearing into the layers of gold and cream; and he pressed his forehead to the wolf's. He understood the burden. Not only was Weylyn baring the whole of Roman's bulk, he was saving the life of another male wolf who had trespassed onto the territory. If the roles were switched, a gesture like that would not have even been considered by Toby's pack. Roman would be dead by now. "Thank you." He whispered, and then left; returning to Mel's side and grabbing her hand. "Come on." He said eagerly, pulling her along towards the smell of vampires.
