There are a few names I want but they probably aren't going to clear anytime soon. Right now i'm just trying to get some real names for characters I have planned.

Names I've gotten from clearings in the past include Turtle, Gay, Tit, Booby, Yuffie, and probably other pets of mine that I can't recall right now.

I'm stalking a name that's pretty important to me. Still a few more months to go and I'm nervous that the owner may just suddenly log back into the account. Crossing fingers though.

I'm currently stalking five right now, and one clears in a few more days and I'm getting anxious about it aha it's one I really want to get too; the other four aren't quite as important, though I would really like to get them.

There's at least one name I check on, but I can't tell if the person plays or not. They look pretty inactive, but maybe they're just not social... It's hard to tell and I'd feel like an ass messaging them about the pet so I'm just going to keep checking.

I did check on some names .. but i was never sure i wanted to rename pets to those names. I'm pretty happy with the ones i have.

I would be very curious if people were interested in any pet names i have. And if they were, i'd like them to ask me about it. maybe we can figure something out, who knows. LOL

most of my pets are a result of name stalking. I'm looking at a couple names atm as well.

I snagged Draugluin, my Tolkien fanpet, from stalking an inactive account. I suspect, however, that it was only because he was a more obscure character from the Silmarillion that I succeeded. The other names I've stalked have all gone before I could grab them.

i have a couple i want but im not desperate so i wont be torn if someone else snipes them. i tend to hoard anyways (although i am personally active) so i dont get too attached on names i cant have.

There are still quite a few names I've been stalking for a while. Many of my current names are from clearings though... probably a good half or so.

I used to stalk names A LOT. Now, I'm less and less interested partly because my old heart is not very good at taking the stress from name clearings xD, and partly because I got most of the names I wanted already. I've also learned to enjoy picking up "leftover" (aka stress free) names from clearings, as well as snagging my fave characters' uncommon last names before the fandom got popular xD.

I've been stalking Tor for a few months now and was finally able to snag him a few days ago. I'm very happy. I'm also stalking another name which may be quite desirable and I'm sure others are stalking it as well.

Got Shelter today (a name I've been looking at since July or so). Not sure if anyone was going after it because I managed to get it on my school's weird computer, but I'm super happy.

I named two of my pets from names that I happily snatched from inactive accounts! Gohan and Diddy Kong XD I didn't stalk them though, I just looked them up and found that they were inactive

I'm stalking a name recently but I'm not even sure if they'd even want to hand their pet over ;v; I should settle for an alternate name u_u

Going after a name tomorrow, but it's gonna be right before class, so I'm not sure how successful I will be. It's not a super sentimental one so I won't be bummed if I miss it, but it would be cool to snag.

I have only some very few names left I am stalking (cause I know they clear soon). All other names I would die for are still on very active accounts so I don't really stalk them anymore.. but also I have a lot of names I really wanted but only some are really from direkt clearings ( Reaver, Champion, Kilan, Jamie, Grigori, Darios, Justus and Varro).

All other I got mostly from the pound, got the pets from really nice users or created them myself. Very few are taken from inactive accounts.

In truth, I have never really "cased" names

I'll come on after watching a television show, or movie, with a little inspiration to just rummage through their character list to see if the names are available, if they are, I welcome them into my life, if they aren't, I rarely even bother to go to the accounts they reside on. I have such a relaxed approach on this. If it's meant to be mine, my fingers will find it.

There's one name I kind of sort of want because it's the name of my favorite cat that died a while ago, and doing a sort of memorial pet would be cool I think. But the person with it is active so whatever haha. Other than that I like having names not attached to anything...

Yesterday cleared the name I wanted but I wasn't able to come online but thankfully nobody took it haha. So now I own Dance! Next month three more names I want clear on the same day so I hope I can get one of them.

So how do you figure out when a name clears if it doesn't tell you how long the person has been logged off?
