She is an only child, with a mother whose work with the Ministry often kept her away for home for extended periods and a father with whom she was very close whenever he was home from his own work at St. Mungo's Hospital. She was raised largely by a nanny whom she loved dearly. She spends much of her time alone, preferring the company of the knights and damsels in her favorite books than the company of other people, though she is friendly and makes friends easily.

His father eventually divorced his mother and left when Vin was only 4, leaving him and his Muggle mother. One year later was when Vin began to learn about his magical talents, as well as when it was revealed that his father was a wizard. Vin's mother wanted to lead a simple muggle life for all of them, but eventually Vin's mother and father came to an argument, and that was when they divorced. For several years Vin had been teaching himself magic with his father's spellbooks that he left behind, presumably for Vin to use. Parts of these books contained dark arts spells, however most of them were torn out, all but necromancy. On the first page of necromancy was a note, asking Vin to promise to not to abuse necromancy, and to not allow the dark art of necromancy consume him. Vin, knowing the note was from his father, swore to keep his word, and began he recreational use of necromancy, however still much less than others spells in his father's book. After the first term ball, Vin has decided to join Hogwarts to further his learning of magic.

Bio: Emelia (who prefers Emmy or Emma) grew up in a small village in the Welsh countryside. She is a muggleborn, but after arriving at Hogwarts and doing some genealogical research, she found out that her great-great-grandfather on her Mum's side was a wizard. Her family includes her mother, father, younger brother and a multitude of pets (three cats, a dog, two horses and multiple rodents and reptiles).
Emmy had always been animal crazy, and the feeling only intensified when she arrived at Hogwarts to find a whole array of magical creatures waiting for her to discover. She wants to be a Magizoologist when she graduates from Hogwarts, though she's not sure if she'd like to work for the Regulation of Magical Creatures department at the Ministry or if she'd prefer to conduct her own independent research.
Emmy is a very friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic girl, who loves to talk and make friends, but also loves to have quiet sometimes so she can just curl up and read. She almost always has one of her pets or some other creature nearby, frequently sneaking creatures from outside into the dorms (and sometimes getting into trouble for it).

Selim Roux was born into a pureblood family, his father's. Tradition ruled the house, after a brief rebellious stage, his father brought home a witch from a far away land, it wasn't long after the birth of their first child that the woman, Selim's mother, had gotten severely ill. Her magic was killing her. His father decided that the best thing for them was to let her rest. His belief was that his shame would die with her. However, as Selim grew, the gap between father and son widened.
The Roux family lives in a large estate in England, and they own a family home in France. Selim's grandparents also stay with him and his father. They refuse to learn the pronunciation of Selim's name and so they commonly refer to him as 'Salem'. After long exposures with the two, his father falls back into the habit of referring to his son as Salem as well.
He was present when his mother passed away. She wanted to give her son one last kiss goodbye

Bio: Ambrosia comes from a line of wealthy Purebloods that originated in Italy. Generations ago, the family abruptly immigrated to America. Ambrosia's father, Damian, became very ill when she was four, and passed away six years later. The heart breaking death left Ambrosia and her mother, Camilla, alone, but very dependent of one another. Camilla was offered a job at St. Mungo's and relocated, allowing Ambrosia to start Hogwarts once she turned eleven. Promptly being sorted into Slytherin, she excelled at friendships as well as academics. Ambrosia is very into fashion, enjoys relaxing with friends, loves to read, and researching the medical field. Her dream is to become a healer, like her mother, and to help people the way they helped her late father during his sickness. Ambrosia is currently a fifth year student.

Bio: Finnlay grew up between the Magical and Muggle worlds. His childhood home sits on the outskirts of a small muggle town, where his family owns a smallish farm . The family business of farming has gained some local noteriety due to the quantity and quality of its crops. However, this is chalked up to extremely green thumbs and excellent farming practices.
Finnlay has dark blond hair, brown eyes, and is small for his size. This may be problematic for a muggle child growing up on a farm, but Finnlay has become adept in handy charms like levitation, growth, sunlight, water, etc. When not magically tending the fields or doing chores, Finnlay spends his time reading muggle and wizarding books.
Finnlay is entering his first year at Hogwarts, which he is very excited about. Formal magical training is something he has been looking forward to for some time -- especially charms and herbology classes.

Bio: Magnus never knew his real parents. He lived in a muggle orphanage until he was nine. Then the accident happened and he woke in Saint Mungo's. No one really knew what to do with the boy and he lived in the hospital for a year. The problem was, he surely couldn't be placed back in a muggle orphanage but by chance the Lees happened to be visiting a relation and heard of the child. A magical boy who was now a werewolf. Bartleby and Stella Lee--purebloods, adopted him. The Lees didn't seem to care that he was a werewolf.
Magnus explored, caused mayhem and generally did whatever suited himself. The Lees encouraged him to explore his new magical world. The day his letter arrived they bought him a magical cat whom he called Kippers.
Hi everyone! Hope everyone is enjoying the start of the new term. and I have got the student roster up-to-date. We've decided that anyone who hasn't submitted a skeleton yet has had their slot removed until they say otherwise. This decision is mainly due to the fact that quite a few members are no longer active and we would like to prevent any confusion when people are using the roster to aid them in roleplay. Additionally, since the skeleton might be more updated from when people initially submitted their information, please feel free to ping us with updated information.

Bio: Megan grew up with a wizard father and muggle mother. She was never one to be ashamed of being a "half-blood" although she's been shamed for it before. She loves her family and proud to be from them.
Megan chooses to be more introverted and finds she doesn't do well in overpopulated socialized settings. Preferring nature and animals to people, she can often be found with her journal writing the many uses of herbs or plants or sketching images of said plants or animals with tidbits about each next to it. Animals are very fond of her and in the village she came from it was often her who people sought if their cat or dog went missing due to her calming presence and gentle nature.
Megan is a Sagittarius, her favourite season is Autumn and she enjoys writing, reading, occasionally drawing and, of course, sitting anywhere in nature and listening to the earth talk.
