Flame Pixies
Status: Beast
Classification: Level XXXX
Flame pixies are extremely playful, mischievous, and dangerous creatures. They are listed number eighty-six in the Ministry of Magic's 2015 Compilation of Illegal Pets.
According to history books, flame pixies originated from Mt. Vesuvius, the oldest magical volcano in the wizarding world. Following an undue outbreak of hysteria in 79 AD, a group of Napoli Pixies threw themselves into the lava and came out magicked with fire.
Flame pixies love setting up traps and playing jokes on others. One of their greatest past-times is, unmistakably, setting fires. The Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures has listed over 150 cases of Pixie-propagated fires in past year, with many of these taking place in muggle residences. It is believed that at least 80% of these listings involved Flame pixies.
Flame pixies seldom "settle down" in one spot but, rather, roam lands searching for new mysteries and potential provocations. Whilst this is so, they are commonly found in warm places: volcano pits, forests (with Transylvania being the top-sighted source), and, occasionally, residential neighborhoods.
Flame pixies cannot be extinguished with water, but rather, can be momentarily stifled with a Flame-Freezing or Immobulus charm. Their fires are magicked with longlasting flame essence, an element that is found in dragons' stomachs and blast-ended skrewts. This makes it especially difficult for muggles to tame such wild outbreaks of fire.
If you spot a flame pixie, do not provoke it by reacting to its tricks. Instead, protect yourself with a simple Cave inimicum spell; then, floo to your nearest Level XXXX Beast Division and request a dangerous creature pick-up.
Thanks!

I really like the story for your Humadee. That is upsetting that the Department may have obliterated the creature. -_-
What a marvelous, creepy creature. I always knew those love potions had some sort of messed-up ingredient in them. I hope I never run across one of those!
Your hippogryph HA is great! It looks just like one.

Arctic merfolk are not nearly as attractive to humans as their Mediterranean or tropical counterparts, but with their camouflaged colors and sharp teeth, they rely on speed and stealth instead of siren song. There's no way you could mistake one for a human. Small fins dot their arms, and spikes grow from their backs. In dimmer waters, their large, light-reflecting eyes allow them to see normally. Good thing they'd usually rather eat fish than humans.

The kitsune are magical creatures found only in Japan. Their true form is that of a great many-tailed fox, and sometimes they appear as a human with fox-like features. Kitsune are tricksters, some playful and some malicious. They lure unwary humans, wizard and muggle alike, deep into their forest homes using their illusory magic. Kitsune have unnaturally long lifespans and grow more tails as they age.

Thanks! <3 I love your flame pixies. You really went all out in the description. You really made me think that flame pixies showed up in the Harry Potter books. Seriously, you did an absolutely amazing job. c:

Artic Frost cratures from the world Subeta. Subeta is a realm close to Earth. It has a lot of different species. Human(oid) AND pets. We still have a lot to learn about this particular species as they seem to have all kinds of differents skins or feathers, but don't seem to be affected by the cold which is simular to the temeperature of the Muggle North Pole.

Fawns or Satyrs are musical woodland creatures who like to party. Related to Nymphs they have a tendency to be tricky, but are usually pleasant company. They sleep away the brightest hours of the day preferring to become active at sunset. It is not unusual to meet a Satyr who has a collection of some kind, ranging from flowers to insects, or random human artifacts like silverware or hair clips.

Yūrei have been encountered by magical people and Muggles throughout history. They are unique from other ghosts because their deaths come by violent means and outbursts of passionate emotion. The Bloody Baron and Grey Lady are two examples of such spirits at Hogwarts. This ghostly image is of Lady Michiko Hargreaves, the late wife of the 13th Earl of Rochford. She was murdered by the French countess who was originally betrothed to her husband. Her eyes were never found.

Oh, thank you very much! c: I love these types of invention challenges. I think I get a little-overexcited and descriptive. Hah.
🌸Seeking:Emma McMonigle - Hufflepuff House Creature: Hinkypunk (Also Know As Will-o-the-Wisp)
A Hinkypunk is a diminutive, one-legged creature with the appearance of wispy blue, grey or white smoke. It has a proclivity for luring travellers off of their paths at night, into treacherous bogs or wetlands under the guise of a helpful, lamp-bearing being. They are impish varmints who revel in inconveniencing magical folk and non-magical folk alike. They can propel fireballs far from their lamps, causing serious damage. They also sporadically emit hollering and grunting noises. One can avoid confrontation with the Hinkypunk by simply moving out of their throwing range. However, if one is close enough to a Hinkypunk, the creature will throw flame from its lantern, and therefore destruction is advised.
Destiny - Ravenclaw
Deep Sea Firemaiden
These creatures are rarely seen because they live in the deep abyss of the ocean. This leave their skin a sickly green. This is set off by bright orange, yellow, and sometimes red markings. Not much is known about them, so most people fear them.

Aww thank you very much, and very nice for your burning fairies/pixies as well. I used to wear them all the time when I started on Subeta, I loved them so much. Actually I don't know why I stopped wearing them at some point :p

"This is a manticore. Manticores have a human-like face, the body of a lion, and a giant scorpion-style stinger. A single sting from a manticore will kill you..so..if the razor-sharp teeth or claws don't get you, the stinger certainly will. Manticores are sentient, they can even talk to us in human languages (if they aren't too busy chewing on our legs). However, they've never been even offered 'Being' status by the Ministry because they're so aggressive. It's in their nature. In fact, a manticore once mauled a wizard and got away with it - he was too dangerous to catch and execute! Not surprising really. Their skin repels most spells and charms, so if you're cornered by one...you're kind of doomed. In case none of that had you terrified, here's one more reason to stay away from the manticore - they apparently like to croon softly to their unfortunate victims, as they slowly eat them. ..basically, if you ever feel like you're having the worst day ever, just be thankful there are no manticores near Hogwarts. If there were, an actual 'worst day ever' would likely have featured a huge man-cat singing merrily while sucking the marrow from your bones."

Qilitan (Chi-lee-tan) Legend says the Qilitans were the product of an alliance between a powerful wizard and a Qilin. Long time ago Qilin’s were believed to be creatures of gods and were good omens to the people. One day a wizard (identity unknown) was looking for rare potion ingredients when the Qilin came to him. It is said that a magical bond between them created a beautiful creature with the wisdom and peacefulness of a Qilin, half body of a human, and the capacity for human emotions.
Qilitans are fierce protectors of caves and because of this time have allowed them to blend in with their surroundings; some develop glowing or stone like skin while others may grow crystals and minerals naturally. Qilitans are a peaceful race wizards have been visiting them for centuries seeking answers and most of all a place of peace.

At first glance glance, one may mistake these little creatures as fungi. Do not be fooled, however, as these little creatures are actually quite intelligent and won't hesitate to nip your ankle if you get too close!
Doldrooms generally grow to between 12 and 20 cm in height. They are found in the tropics, mostly, with the highest concentration living deep in the jungles of southeast Asia. Their primary food sources in the rainforest include leeches, small beetles, and durian fruit.
Doldrooms live in small colonies of about twenty one individuals on average. (The largest recorded Doldroom colony consisted of fifty five individuals!) In these groups, tasks such as foraging and protecting the colony borders are delegated to the group members.
The greatest threats to Doldrooms are monsoons and poaching. The gems on their caps are highly useful in advanced potion making, and as such, they are often poached by wizards in the area. They do not have any real natural predators, as the side effects of eating a Doldroom are, well... not pleasant. If a small amount is ingested, side effects such as anxiety, fever, and hallucinations can occur. In larger amounts, a coma, or even death, can occur.
