I have another thing to add now though ~

Things like the cropped jackets and cropped pants are probably fine, but "Crop Top" vs "Cropped Top" is inconsistent.

Then there are also a few individual things that stand out: - should have the hyphen removed in the Crop-Top part - should maybe be changed to Cropped Jacket to be consistent with other item names - this is the only item like this that uses "shirt" instead of "top" in the name

Added crop/cropped and one I found: hairspray vs hair spray. From a quick look, previously fixed old inconsistencies have reappeared, such as non Earl Grey Tea items reappearing with grey instead of gray. I don't have a lot of time lately so I don't know when I'll be able to go back through the list of fixes and re-add them to the OP. :(

- I'll submit all of the "grey" items through the spelling report form. There's only five of them that should be corrected. There was a new inconsistency that I came across the other day, but I didn't have anything to jot it down with, so now, of course, I've forgotten it :(

For Fireside 2014, there was a set released of Rreign Tamer items Examples:

Then there is this one item that I believe is supposed to be part of the same set, but for some reason it uses "Rreign Trainer" in the name instead of "Rreign Tamer"

- Change "Trainer" to "Tamer" to match the other items

Also, in fixing up the "crop" things... Was it only those three items? There's still an inconsistency in some things being "Crop Top" and others being "Cropped Top" - Ignore that... I obviously hadn't made it far enough through the list before I posted.

Dyed Mortiking Egg should maybe be Common Dyed Mortiking Egg to be consistent with the other colorname ones? We know what an undyed Mortiking Egg looks like though and it hasn't any spots.

I really don't think you guys should be messing with CWs without talking to the owner... It's actually REALLY frustrating and angering to have your own items name changed without even being told because then we can't even find the name of our own items. ESPECIALLY when you change our items and don't even tell us, if its an older item we have to go FAR back into our CW pages to try to find what you even changed the name to. It's just not fair.

Also a lot of us are upset because MANY of us spelled words a certain way for a reason and now because a couple people get their panties in a twist about names needing to be 100% uniform, our items are being changed to suit THEM when they were OUR items... this honestly is not fair or right and I know I'm not at all the only one who is upset with you guys.

honestly, i thought this thread was exclusively for official items, so i'm unsure why CWs are being touched upon too... i'm not against keeping things consistent, and misspellings and accidents happen all the time, but i do believe that the submitter should be contacted before any changes are made. one person can read something completely different from another and completely miss the intent of the submitter for their item. like said, this can be extremely frustrating for people who keep listings of their own items, especially when they have a large amount of items submitted, or when the item in particular is old. and to be honest, having paid real-world money to get an item on site (both in design and submission) i think a courtesy message is the least that should happen, these things aren't cheap and often elicit an emotional attachment.

since you pinged me, I have to say, you're directing your anger at the wrong person. I am not a staff member and I was under the impression that cw creators got a special event that informs them of the correction - evidenced by earlier conversations on this thread. If this is not the case then it should be, but I have no control over that. This thread was originally created to cut down on multiple searches for the same thing, and create consistency, ie. Tea pot vs teapot. Once you submit a cw it becomes subeta's property as per the terms of service, and subeta seems interested in keeping a consistency in spelling in its content. I'm not maintaining this thread out of malice for cw creators.
