I'm down for this. I remember being a little disappointed with Storm just coming from a random event, especially after all the talk of lightning rods and things on that suggestion thread. There's a lot of potential here.

this could be really cool, and a great way to introduce some amazing colors (i'd be particularly interested in a supernova/nebula type of color). the process to obtain the colors could of course use some refining, but overall a really cool idea.
All of these are good ideas. When I saw some of these suggested in the past, they felt too vague, so I wrote most of them off. But seeing them with a more detailed vision + concept art has changed my mind. I love the idea of doing tasks to get the pets.
The idea of the supernova/aurora pet being gem-like is my favorite, because that makes it very different from existing pets. I don't have a ton to say on it other than YES very cool.
Even though skeletal is similar to graveyard, seeing the full bone structure of the pets would be awesome. Malevolent would work, but I'm personally drawn to something to the idea of it being solemn. This would differentiate the color from graveyard a bit more. It also makes sense that a pet would chill a little having it's rotting brain removed. I'm always drawn to depressing though, so who knows.
Autumn and some kind of purified-spirit color are also great ideas. I think Autumn fits into the game especially well. I've seen Angelic brought up as an alternative to spirit, but they're different. Angelic pets are cartoon-like (in a good way). Spirit sounds more serious and ethereal. I would want one.
Magma can be different from reborn as well. Magma = molten lava oozing between heavy rocks, reborn = heroic fire.
Basically, I'm in favor of everything and I think your answer to the pets being too similar to existing colors is great. Hooray (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧
[also I am on no sleep, please don't judge me too hard if I'm misreading stuff]
I kinda hope that we get one (or more ?) skeleton experiment(s) instead of a pet color. I already need more sweethearts than I can get, I literally would not be able to get all of the skeleton pets. QnQ But everything sounds so awesome.
Woooow! All those ideas are amazing :D I still really want Aurora and Skeletal to happen. Oh rah, why must you tease us lol
I love this suggestion. Certain pets (Bumbus, Bhakoru, the experiments) are already tied to completing certain activities. Why not colors as well? So long as the colors remain something that everyone (including brand new players) can reasonably work towards, I'm totally down for this idea.
some are just new recolours of existing recolours (like spectrum -> blacklight)
I love the variety in special colors, but I don't mind getting some palette swaps here and there if it means we get more colors overall. I really like how blacklight worked out.
Like I need autumn in my life, but if the only way to do it is to make it a recolor of glade (with appropriate foliage, of course) then I'm ok with that.

I support. Decidiwi and Deadroot were two awesome pieces of art. Turning them into a pet color would be cool, but only if they got a complete new pose each. The Shadowglen Graveyard doesn't have a actual Graveyard to show, so it would be pretty useful (and smart) to open up the graveyard for us to bury our pets.
Oh god I love everything. Although I was happy with having reduced the amount of colors that I liked Legeicas in, so I could think about having some other pets...
But who cares! I'm still keeping my slots open for a hydrus Legeica, so I can wait a bit more and hope for aurora or autumn ones as well!
This is such a cool idea! Can I throw in a suggestion for a color like this as well?
Back in 2013 or so, when the Masquerade rift plot came out, there were a couple of people asking for "futuristic" robot pets in the style of something like this: . It was said to be too similar to the Steampunk concept at the time, but if we were to implement this suggestion, do you think a sleek, robot pet would fit the idea? :)
Prerequisites: Have a steampunk pet Access to the Rift
The idea is that the person would have to meet Issac (I think that the robot's name?) from the future to have him adjust the steampunk pet to the futuristic look. Or maybe the person would have to find a way to research/steal the plans from somebody and bring them back to the past through the Rift? :)
Anyways, really love your idea and I hope it gets implemented!
Some of these suggestions I wasn't too keen on, but if it becomes a two-step process kind of color I think that makes them more interesting. I'm looking forward to this!n
This is such an exciting and refreshing idea! I particularly would loooove the autumn pet option, since that's my favorite time of year :3 The other concepts are beautiful as well, and I adore the idea of making it a process to get the pet colors!
omg how did I forget that one?? I'm after a non-steam work robot all the time XD I've added that to the op, thank you!
I had actually forgotten how much I loved this design ;; the art is gorgeous, probably my favourite endevour for shading and form.
I would give anything for an Autumn color, yes please.
Thank you for adding my suggestion to the original post! I loved the Marktoo design as well (personally, I always thought that the Marktoo was a better Endeavor than the actual Endeavor pet, lol), and I feel like the design of that robot is different enough from Steamwork to warrant it's own separate color! :)
I'm not a fan of the newer Endeavor art, for a 'pet' designed to be a war machine the new art is so... rounded and cutesy. I don't want all pets onsite to be grungy, but for a 'realistic' trending site, it'd be nice if they lived up to their names = the Mk II might not look 'sharp' but it's also not 'cutesy', looks sleek and adaptable ;w; But then I just want more robot pets that aren't SW XD I have SO MANY and they're all futuristic and SW doesn't work for them.
I might be a little bummed out if we do get an autumn pet color because I already made a recolor overlay for one of my glade pets, but I'm sure I'll get over it pretty quickly since I'm sure an official color would look way better x)
Either way though, I'm really excited to see what's going to come of this :o

oh my, I love every single one of these ideas OuO
Especially the use of the rift with regards to steampunk/robo pets, that the timestream could be messed with to get them I just adore the concept
But then I'd go broke getting so many more pet slots :')

YESSS I LOVE THESE SUGGESTIONS. I really want a more somber pet color. Stone or something would work? I love the happy emotions in spectrum and blacklight but we don't seem to have a more "down/sad" color yet. Glacier pets look snobby/"cold", then we have the "scary" ones like nightmare, bloodred and graveyard... Some Storm pets kind of fit what I mean, but not exactly. They look more anxious than what I'm trying to describe.
