Obviously I can't speak for anybody else here, but personally I wasn't trying to "take vending out of the equation", I opted not to include information that I am not familiar with. I don't vend; I don't know the limits; I don't know the general user habits. So I'm sorry if I gave the impression that I was dismissive of vending - it's omission out of concern of presenting misinformation, on my behalf!

Yay, a graph! I wish we had these about everything. I think it would be better to tweak the code to make it more random, and to remove Saggi from the pool. But please don't lower the WT count, I personally think it is finally just right. We need more sp spending opportunities, not the reduction of non-sp currencies. I don't have time to play every single day now that I have a young daughter, and I know I'm not alone. I'm totally cool with those who do have the time having more -everything- than me. I'm not cool with having so little that it takes me a year to save up for a single wishlist item. I'm not using hyperbole here, I did this back in the days when tokens were given out in tiny amounts. It wasn't fun and was often discouraging.

Not everyone vends. If tokens are reduced, you're going to be able to buy tokens from other people, the same way that always was.

No, not everyone vends. But a lot of people do as their only form of RSing and the way things are now, 3 mil for a 1k token is not worth the profit you're gonna get from vending. So tokens will still fall in price, because no one will spend 3 mil to vend 1 mil worth of prizes.

I don't see why Tokens need to be hella expensive. As someone earlier said, some people don't have a lot of money to spend irl and coming on here gives them the opportunity to feel like they can buy something. Driving down the amount of tokens going out means taking away one more thing on subeta that many, many people find enjoyable.
