So, besides the pets that already have an article in the subetapedia, let's speculate about some characteristics of the species! I suppose that first and foremost, I'm interested in which pets would be suitable as mounts for full grown people. I know the Hikei is since there is a book that is about riding the Hikei. I forgot what it's called. What do you think? :)

It'd be very nice! Especially for those who try more to imagine what they'd be like in real life.

For the size thing, I thought for sure that the lifelike dolls would be the size of the species but that was proven wrong when the subetapedia did size comparisons to the HAs and didn't match up with the dolls so I was kind of disappointed. My guess is that any species that resembles a horse/donkey/or larger RL animals would be mountable.

I heard that the legacia was actually really small even though it's a horse.

Now that's odd...was there a reference or something? It makes more sense that the Heiki would be small because it's more pony-like but the Legacia is very large, almost like a stallion in most of it's colored poses.

I faintly remember reading somewhere that mentioned them [Legeica!] being huge horses. But I'm not entirely sure. (:

It was just from the shoutbox that I heard it I think so there's no concrete evidence sadly. That'd be really cute though if it was a mini pony XD

xD Some of their poses are so furious/hostile, it'd be funny if they ended up being the size of like a cat.

Haha yeah. I'm not gonna lie though. I didn't think the Escalade was going to be that big when they added it :)

I thought it was only the size of a great dane dog.

Despite bears being pretty large, the anyu is so cute and sweet that I really thought it was going to be smaller.

It'd be so much fun though to ride a bear like pet though. I wonder how fast they would be able to go.

In subetapedia they're being compared to reindeer because they pull melody's sleigh, so probably pretty fast? But that's flying maybe? I'm not sure.

i'm honestly curious as to how big the paralix would be. o: on the subetapedia it says that the rreign is the largest dragon in subeta, but in my head i always imagined the paralix being super long (think haku's dragon form from spirited away). so maybe the rreign is bigger and heavier, but the paralix longer?

Or the Paralix is just the size of an earthworm. Which would be very disappointing.

I hope that the Paralix, the Irion and the Legeica are big, they're my favorite species and I cannot really connect the majoriy of my characters with tiny little creatures. XD

Do you just imagine a actual Mortiking or Tutani on your avatar. You could only see them partially, and they'd cover your entire avatar.

The Legeica reminds me of a drafthorse. I also imagine Paralixes and Irions being fairly large creatures. Can you imagine flying on the back of a Paralix or Irion? :D

This is a unofficial size chart that was done years ago. It doesn't have new art or the new species but that should give you an idea of some. I wish they'd redo this and make it official.

I know that this existed, but considering that the Lain and the Kora are smaller now than on the chart... I am not sure if they now consider this chart when updating the SubetaPedia for some others. (:
