I've actually seen nothing but a lot of positive come out of this suggestion thread. Yes, sarcasm is naturally gonna be there, but that's everywhere. It's all in good fun, and not anything malicious.

Six base pet slots would be incredible! I am obviously far beyond the point where the even base-number makes a difference, but I always disliked the 5. It just looks so... unfinished. (Don't get me started on cash shop sale prices. Or year-round GA prices. There are items I literally refuse to buy because their cost is something obnoxious like 864csc)

I originally brought up the number of 10 base slots, but honestly, I'd like 8 a lot because HERP DERP TWICE AS MUCH AS NEOPETS.

also if GA slots were brought to +8 as well, it would make 16 slots and that can be used to make a nice 4X4 pet grid.

I definitely would not argue with 8 and 16. x: (that really would make a lovely grid)

If the base slots just increase to 6 as mentioned on the previous page, would the GA also double to 12? Right now the GA page says "adopt 5 more pets for a grand total of 10!" so I would hope the number would be kept at double the original, instead of either the 'adopt 5 more' or 'a grand total of ten.' Because +4 slots, while still excellent, isn't that impressive.

I will lie about my fondness of odd numbers (because I'm odd) just to get that 6th slot. Pretty please NOW!

Hey, look! The site is planning something for non-csc pet slots. So I'm very glad the massive influx of new users from neo is pushing things forward! And thank you for voicing your opinion.

And, echoing on others about CSC pet slots, I also encourage you to not give up saving up for them. One thing that I always like about subeta is the pet goals here are usually neither too difficult or too easy to accomplish. It's a good combo of hardwork, fun, and a sense of achievement. And I know neo users (being one myself a long time ago) are usually very tenacious towards the even impossible goals. Another thing I want to mention is how subeta allows people to use sP to buy CSC. Despite the inflation over the years, the overall availability of CSC in user shops is still there (considering how hard it is to buy cash points on other pet sites using virtual money). So yep, don't give up, and you will get to those goals eventually!

I hope it doubles too, because with both 6 base and 8 base slots, 5 extra slots bring that to 11 and 13, which are really odd numbers. 10 base is 15, which is the only one who isn't totally terrible. (and is why i originally suggested 10 base)

"up to a total of 10" is a bad idea.

8 base and then 16 ga would be a nice compromise.
