Moving on, which means that I will give all of you a bit of time before Chapter 8 is posted to send in your last guesses about the possible "Vesnali Eggs." Everyone has now slogged through the "best answer" logic puzzle, and a couple of my judges have learned a lesson, I think. All teams also have credit for the maze.

Damage scores, as well as bonus points, will be based on the contents of the actual Bone Rider battle RP, and please remember that "Eggs" are not only hidden, but tough. I was gobsmacked when one of you turned in both from just reading the plot, and I had several teams do the same thing. (Some of you could make Nutsy's Squirtective Agency a huge success.)

Also, bear in mind that I am pretty easy to negotiate with if you have a real emergency/tragedy, as one team just learned. I will also take your word that it happened. This year, I allowed more time for everyone, mostly to help those in Traveler mode, but it seemed to work well overall, so I'm planning on keeping it.

Yes, the adventure does get harder as it goes, simply because you're all very good players, and also for some differentiation in scores and chances for everyone to move up. That's not going to change.

Golly-gee-willakers! That was a rough ride! Great job to all the teams who managed to put together their RP's for that crazy long maze! Y'all are fantastic!

(My deepest sympathies to the judges who have to read all that, and to the poor Subeta servers who just took a mighty blow, perhaps from the Chimeriad's posts alone!)

Chapter 8 is now up. Since both Vesnali Eggs: Kelian is Caniel and Delgar is still very alive, have been revealed, Chapter 7 Egg guessing is now over.

And, before anyone points out that it is possibly to go on a web search for the Rebus puzzle and cheat, yes, it is. However, everyone should have fun and get it any way, and do you really want to live that way? Just saying.

Hmm, I am trying to figure out how someone would have guessed the Vesnali Eggs... was it the spelling of Kelian's name being similar to Caniel with one letter off? As far as Delgar being alive, that one I had no idea.

(and others checking out the thread.) Now that the hidden eggs have been revealed, I can answer that my friend. It's no stroke of genius or anything like that, I am terribly nosy and notorious for making note of things that stick out to me - just like my character for the RP. I show them to the rest of my team and we pick them apart to see what can help us with the chapter challenges. This is how we found them for Chapter 7:

Every time Delgar was mentioned, he is presumed dead. You never assume anyone in a story is really dead until you have absolut' proof.

As for who Kelian really is, take a second look at the "Then the legend of the three keys is true" blurb. In the legend Grumpus says unless the Unseelie have Delgar's key it should be somewhere in the maze - rumor has it he died there.

Kelian knew Lucien and Izzy could map the maze from above and yet he risked life and limb to find his way through it. He must have been hunting for something of great importance. We theorized he had to be one of two things, Seelie or Unseelie. If he were Unseelie, wouldn't he go after the key easier to get? Of course he would. He must be Seelie and the only Seelie person who urgently needs to get ahold of that key had to be Caniel. (Delgar would know where the key was.)

(The logic behind our assumptions may be a bit off, but that's how we figured them out, lol)
