I'm just so happy right now for the US citizens ❤️. It was time, it has been too long of a wait. This is a normal right that should have been granted long ago. As a LGBQT + member, I'm proud of the US right now even if I'm not even American.
Congratulations to all Americans! Welcome to 2015.
A huge congratulations to all the couples who can and are getting married!
Yup, heard about this happening. It's been coming for a long time now; I'm glad its finally happened! Yaaaaaaay!
My friend texted me this morning and told me to get up so I could see the new. I just cried. ;u; I'm so happy.
This is very awesome! I didn't expect to see this happening so soon.
And then on the other hand, I'm sad that it not only took so long, but that this was only part of the struggle. Discrimination and hatred towards LGBTA+ people isn't going to just go away because they can get married to same-sex partners now.
Heck yes! Love wins. I can hardly believe it.
Some people are saying things like, "That's it, I'm moving to Canada." Well sucks because Canada has had marriage equality for like 10 years.
Anyway, WAHOO! America has done something right.
[flower=joy]
Thank you!
I'm so overjoyed today. So proud of my country. I cried and I'm just...overwhelmed with happiness for everyone that now has the same rights that I do! No one should ever be discriminated against. What a great day and a wonderful thing to wake up to!!!
I watched the video that Google linked and felt my heart sink in dread.
I was completely against it when my state legalized it, and I'm completely against it now that the country has legalized it. I can't say I'm happy about this at all. It goes against a lot of what I stand for. To me, this isn't a good thing, and I feel like this country is gradually sliding downhill in accepting things that aren't (to me) acceptable.
Regardless, I'm happy for you guys. Maybe we'll get a Free Gift out of this. I do like new items...
About time.
Take a breather. Let's not forget to work on the rest.

I'm super happy for the US! Sadly I currently live in a household that says it's a "sad day for America" so I can't really express how I feel about the matter physically. It came very unexpectedly so I was a little shocked to wake up to it. It's amazing!
Woke up to a rainbow on Facebook, but oh gosh, does it make me so incredibly happy. It feels like it came so suddenly. Of course, it doesn't mean everything is all good now, but it's such a huge step. So proud right now.
This is just beyond awesome!
But, yeah, sad that it took awhile for the decision to be made that people are equal.
And if you don't like it: fine. But things in the law should be judged on legality, not purely on what makes you uncomfortable.
yes! :D it was long overdue! although i'm not too pleased with how much opposing votes there were especially in 2015....
