My budgie thinks it's awesome to eat stuff off the floor, particularly in this one spot by my fridge. I think it's because he knows I have food in there which he can't get to. I pick him up when he does it, because I don't want him to get sick, but it's always the same spot he goes to. I've also noticed him attempting to crawl under the fridge, but fortunately he can't fit.
omg buddy no.
fish are pretty but i hate having them as a pet. good luck with your fish tank prob tho.
my cat, kanye, like to take money. not coins but bills. if you leave money out around him it'll go missing and you'll probably find it next to his food bowl or his hiding spot in the closet. he's taught me to stop leaving my money out in the open. thanks kanye.
About two months ago I took two stray brother kittens into my house. At first, they really didn't like us, but now they're sappy little babies.
One of them has started suckling on us before he falls asleep. Be it fingers, necks, collar bones, or his brother (sometimes even himself), he looooves suckling as he falls asleep. Probably because he was taken from mom too early. Regardless, super weird but super cute.
I've caught my rats chewing on every possible chord in my room (I've spent so much money getting replacement cords) along with chewing open food containers and letting their food just spill all over the ground. Its always a huuuuuuge mess when they're out ;o;
I once was doing some laundry and I heard something fall into the turtle tank, and when I went to look, I saw a huge cockroach flailing around in my turtle's water. Before I could get it out and kill it, she scrambled over and ate it.
I hate Texas summers.
One of my cockatiels adores chewing on his fallen out feathers. He doesn't pick his feathers or anything, but he'll sit there and chew for hours on his molted feathers when they come out.
As for cords, both of my cockatiels LOVE chewing on my apple device cords. I've caught them before they've chewed through them, but it's a given that every time they're out and they're on me and see my iphone/ ipad cord they'll start chewing on it.
I have a cockatiel. He dances to the sound of my blow dryer and washing machine. He's really shy about playing with his toys when I'm around, but I'll catch him rubbing his head on one of the hanging ones. One time when he thought he was home alone he made crying noises that sounded like aliens. :')
My cat used to hide behind doors and attack my ex's balls when he wore sweats.
Man, pet stories are the best. This is the best thread.
If you catch my aunt's cat in the right mood and start scratching his chin, he'll use his lil mitten paws to bat your hand down and start licking you. I think he figures if you pet him and he likes you, he'll pet you too. It feels funny, and it's always when it's snuggled up inside something like a laundry basket, a folded up hammock, or a cat tree.
He'll also often flop down sideways in the middle of the floor (usually if there's towels down) and chill there. One time I managed to gently squish his toe beans for like a minute and he just kept chillin.
Also, he loves shoes. Any time my huge extended family goes over there, we'll leave our shoes by the door and he comes up and smells each and every one until he finds his favorite for the day. Then he sits with his paws in his new favorite pair. I'll upload pictures/videos when I find them.
He's the weirdest. I love him.
My boss said fish tank water is healthy, but I'll probably end up getting rid of the tank. Fish are pretty, but they can be very expensive.
Too bad Kanye wasn't a dog. You could teach him to steal money from other people and be rich ;)
I sometimes forget that I put my IPOD with the cord still attached on my desk. My hamster Sable has already chomped through one pair. I caught her starting on this pair and Buddy decided that he'd help her wreck them. I ened up saving them, thank God. Just a tiny wire exposed.
Yum! yum! Free lunch x)
Ah, odd things of pets. This will be fun. -My cat has a habit of sniffing certain shoes whether they've been worn recently or not. -She also, when hiding in a light tunnel thing, attempts to leap at people coming past and thus makes the whole tunnel thing move. This has scared me into spilling her water on the floor multiple times, eheh. -One of my rabbits is very protective of the other. When I try to stroke the other rabbit, the protective rabbit comes up and tries to push my hand off. -She also licks, I have no idea if that's normal for rabbits or not, but the other one doesn't. -And they both scare the cat. Poor thing.
Caught my turtle this morning happily sitting outside of her water, kicking her substrate directly into it with both hind legs. She didn't stop until her water tray was completely full.
Years ago one of our bunnies sneaked on the living room table and ate chocolate and drank cola. Luckily not enough to get sick of it because my mom caught him in the act. He used to eat EVERYTHING, even bread with gammon and mustard if you weren't paying enough attention. XD
Birds do love to chew. :o
One of my cockatiels also whines like a dog. He learned it from my cousin's dog since we got it from them. We're the third owner, original owner couldn't take care of him due to illness so she gave it to my cousin but I guess their dog kind of stressed him out so we got him.
I don't allow my dogs to sleep on the bed (they have their own beds on the floor beside it). When I returned home one day, they had managed to get onto the bed and sleep, because there were perfect dimples in the bedspread and the area was still warm to the touch (from furry bodies).
I started shutting the bedroom door before leaving and one eventually figured out how to open the door! So then I had to start locking the door before I left, and that finally worked because he couldn't figure out how to pick the lock!
That same dog learned how to use mirrors and reflective surfaces to watch me in the house as well, just like 's cat does!
My dog lays in the bathtub all the time. He likes it when we leave a thin layer of water in it.
Ohhh, animals. Mine are... fun. One of my cats, Midi, likes to chew on bones like a puppy. He also eats bananas and sleeps on his back, paws flailing, and whenever you pick him up, he meows like he's mad, but then proceeds to make absolutely no effort to escape. If he gets outside though, within an hour he'll be scratching at the back door. He's also really scared of my chickens even though he's like twice their size. xD My other kitty, Lil, adores corn. She'll run off with corncobs. And she really hates pictures - point a camera at her, and she'll pointedly look the other direction. Mikey, the puppy, is best friends with Midi but Lil hates him. Mikey uses Midi as a pillow half the time. xD He also refuses to enter a room if the door isn't open wide enough for him to not have to touch it. He won't nose it open. And the chickens. Ohhh, the chickens. xD Missy and Sass kick straw into their water allll the time. I don't understanddd. And Missy is scared of pretty much everything, so she plays ostrich and sticks her head in a corner. xD Lace also really loves corn - we had her inside the other day and my mother was eating corn on the cob and Lace jumped up on her lap and proceeded to peck the corn until I got her some of her own. xD Plus Lace really loves my necklace - it's a shark tooth with some metal things on either side of it and she pecks that thing to no end when I pick her up. Not any of my other necklaces. That one just tastes good, I guess. xD

I caught my grandmothers small dog humping the neighbours small dog, they were both males, my neighbours dog would dig under the fence so he could come over to our side constantly so we decided to just leave the whole and they came and went as they pleased Let's see... Tina, my grandmothers cat, stole my feather off my window sill. My other cat poppy would steal small stuffed animals oh, Stinky. if you left your doritos packet opened and un supervised he'd steal them. I have a few more but I don't wanna bore anyone x'D
My current ferret likes to sometimes walk around with a blue magazine bag over his face (not on top; I mean OVER his face so he has to look around through the semi-transparent bag).
He will sometimes run with it on and run into things. Don't worry, he came up with this game all on his own and he is never fazed when he runs into something. He will also sometimes try to hide his toys while the bag is still over his face.
