I'm confused. I thought the problem was that you were stuck on the first bird, in which case I was going to say, click around the Darkside map and you'll find it eventually.

But...did you find the bird, then sell it before going back to Rosemary and showing it to her? And now you're trying to buy another of that same bird so you can properly complete the quest? Hope I don't sound accusatory, just making sure I understand the situation.

Also, there's an Omen Islands bird? Hope that particular bird can be found somewhere else too, for the sake of people who haven't completed the map yet.

Yup, that's what happened! I found it, forgot to tell chickaboo before selling it. Can't find another by searching the area (which is good, otherwise it could be easily abused)

However, an awesome person lent me the bird to complete the daily... but I'm still of the opinion that if it is a daily, it should reset everyday if not completed. Otherwise is it really a daily?

(btw, I do really like the new "daily"!!)

So far, Rosemary has only asked me for "generic" birds that don't belong to any land and I've found them on the main map. I love these realistic birds that I actually see when I look out my window at home, but look forward to getting ones that count for the achievement too :)

Why can't it just be random from the beginning? xD It seems pointless to make it cycle through all of the birds unless it's important that we all have the birds, but we can sell them so it can't be that important. Just make it random and put a cancel quest button like the other quests? Isn't that more convenient than people possibly getting stuck forever on the omen islands birds? Unless the way this daily is structured has something to do with a plot coming up soon, which would be amazing, I feel like this system could be a tiny bit more straightforward.

Not that I'm complaining about free birds! I second the hope that we have many many free birds available here eventually.

OH, I love the idea of the stock changing each months! I need to enter this in my daily routine to be sure that I have them all! Maybe one could be done like that (on rotation of course) for each of the councilor... to like use them somehow and not only Rosemary...

You could buy it or lend it? There's one bird in the trades that is being lent for the daily and you could open a board, too.

I didn't read through all the pages, but just popping in to say that I hope we will get seasonal birds squeeee!

Gods I seriously am loving this, the birds are all adorable and it's a fun way to both introduce them, and to actually getting people clicking around the site.

I really love this new daily. I make sure to come back to Subeta everyday just to do it. The birdies are adorable. I'd love to see a raven, and maybe a cardinal too. Or we could just do ALL THE BIRDS.

Birdwatching in RL is an activity that requires patience. I don't think this should reset daily. Maybe once a week, with an alert from NPC Rosemary Kelly? Sometimes the birds just know you're out there looking and so they hide for days, this is what happens and is part of the fun when you finally do discover them and what they've been doing. I'm hoping that if this is expanded, one occurs only on the BHH page (not to buy, but to find floating).

Not all Achievements and not all activities on the site are always available to everyone, so I don't think that Omen Islands birds are unfair or broken at all. Don't like the prices of Blue Building items on the open market? Then get access. Want to find an OI bird? Then get access.

How would that add fun in that activity?

I find that having to wait X number of days rather than it being daily makes no sense in viability. You want people to take part in the daily, why would I do it if I'm sure I won't find the bird that day.

Not every single blessed thing needs to be difficult to obtain or exclusive. I don't see why birdwatching needs to be, there's plenty of other challenges on Subeta. It's just a nice feature that anybody can participate in at any time if they want to. What's wrong with having a low-stress activity now and then?

I'm never going to think, "It's not like its real life counterpart," will be a valid reason on a virtual pet site.

The entire point of Bird Watching was to have a new daily.

Personally, I'm happy for the new minions =w= Another bunch to get for my collection~
