Yeah, I do not want the trophies to go off my pets. Alana finally got nominated. If all my Hannibal based pets win. I will be happy.

I kind of like the regular Subeta profile for most my other babies. I have written them all stories and put up pics of their favorite items.

Plus I have tried to do all of them a cool treasure chest. Spent lots on that. I do not make as much money as others do on here.

I think pets looked loved that at least have a minion and some treasure.

Oops I got off topic, but I still miss the daily pet spotlight. I like to see the winners. Most are really great. Some are simple yet elegant. Then there are some that just really blow my mind they are so excellent.

What are even the requirements for winning? I don't remember when which is good because I don't want to offend the winner, but I remember seeing a pet or two with .... poor writing and a page that reminded me of geocities in the 90s.

Why not Pacifist? She has beautiful art. Why not Syth? He has so much stunning art AND a story.

I miss them appearing everyday, too D;! Clearly there's enough pets in the queue to be featured everyday, or at least that what it seems like to me ;;. Wish it wasn't just three times a week, which is was every day again. Hopefully it changes back to everyday again c:.

I totally agree with that part. As a non-native English speaker, writing AND reading in English is such a pain. Even in my own language, I get trouble reading things and always miss important lines or whatever that is (maybe a slightly bit dyslexic, I don't really know) so do not imagine in English ! My pets are not going to go to the Spotlight because I don't write stories to them, I do TCs that tell their stories like here for example. (Also I'm never gonna pay crazy amounts of sP for a profile but that's only me, so I am not even trying to go for the spotlight.) I just stopped looking at the pet spotlight winners because I just couldn't bear reading massive walls of text in English and a ridiculously small TC. Then, it can be just my opinion but either small stories or stories in TCs are nice as well. I know it is written in the rules that "There is an exception to the story rule: some people get extremely creative with treasures and can actually form treasures into images, comics, pictures, etc. This will be considered using 'art' to tell a story if done well." but I've not seen a real creative TC in the spotlight in a while (ok you'll say I stopped looking at it but still).

I would just love to see more creative TCs and/or pet profiles on the winners, and not the usual scheme "pet profile / overlay / story / small or inexistant TC" if that makes sense.

As someone who just recently got inspired to get my pets spotlight-ready, it makes me kind of sad that judging from the posts on this thread, it seems kind of neglected/put on the back burner :c And I worry that soon I'll just lose interest and then lose interest in the site and stop playing b/c honestly I'm mainly on Subeta at this point for my pets

It does deter new users from trying to get involved in the spotlight; also, would there be a way to make transparent exactly how many pets are in the queue?

I've seen posts about how there's not enough pets, but I've also seen many nominated pets, and users who have pets nominated for months with nothing happening, and that's ridiculous? I feel like there's some sort of miscommunication going on here, and honestly, communication seems like a thing that this site needs to improve on in general? (not that there isn't good communication! just that there's definitely a lot of room for improvement, from the user's point of view)

And those who have had their pets stuck in nomination limbo for months understandably feel frustrated, and "not enough pets in the queue to have the spotlight everyday" is just so vague that it'll naturally just heighten their frustration because their personal experience just isn't lining up with that statement? It could be some coding issue, and bad luck, but there has to be a way to keep users from waiting months to see a result because that just seems so... unreasonable?

I also second the idea of maybe an alert of some kind for when a pet is kicked from the queue? Tbh I don't know why there isn't an alert? Unless coding issues?

I think the Monday through Friday would be awesome. I know people need weekends to rest. I so enjoy looking at the pet profiles. I love all the styles from the most simple to the most elaborate. Myself I prefer only Subeta art on my pages, but I am amazed at the beauty of some peoples overlays and custom pets. I love Naive. :D
