Just as I was saying I had no pings a bunch showed up! I'll be right there! Sanks...ah, yes...the skelli-butt...Senor Heinie Bumps is my spirit animal. :D
The pings all showed up as I was on the other board typing that there were no pings! Had to edit the post one second after I posted it.
Is there a specific place to look for what the game specifications for this character class are, or is it fairly freestyle?
in the Nightowl's forum there is a topic that is just WS3. I edited the first post to include a compilation of info that had been posted on the various other boards. Under the spoiler about character classes there should be the description that GR posted for Alchemist. Hopefully that will help you get a feel for what the character class is all about.
I just found it! I am now moronically excited-I lucked into an incredibly appealing character class! Another day of R & D and I should have a good start on it. bounces around alchemically
Oh good! I have always been intimidated by the Alchemist type of character, so I am glad that it is an appealing class for you. If you had been like "uh. no." I would have offered to switch with you...but I'm quite relieved that I don't need to :)
No, I really am geeked about this. I'm just trying to find some accessible, but non-cliche background to build on. I'm getting closer. I feel like I have an ace in the hole on this character class. grins

The scores are in for Chapter 2 and the first post has been updated. As always, your teams were judged on:
- Accomplishing the specific tasks given within the given settings.
- Creativity in solutions.
- Participation of each active team member.
- Equal emphasis and effort given to each active team member.
- Consistency of classes and spirit as defined in introduction of members.
- Presentation of characters and event, with details, and use of companions, if applicable.
- Interesting "extras": humor, romance, pathos--you know, the emotional stuff which makes for 3D!
These scores were carefully considered and discussed, and, in the spirit of making things crystal clear, I'm going to let my "judge captain" fill you in on why some of you may have a different score:
<ol>
<li>Teams who do a truly remarkable job will be given bonus points above and beyond the base score. These bonus points will not exceed 25% of the Adventurer mode base score for that challenge.</li>
<li>Penalties will only be given for deadlines missed or off-base submissions.</li>
<li>Since Traveler is easier and does not incur as many base points, Travelers may accrue bonus points for solving the Adventurer challenges. For example, if a Traveler teams solves both puzzles when only required to do one, they can be given a bonus. However, the bonus cannot exceed 75% of Adventurer score.</li>
</ol>
<p>In the case of the challenge for the second chapter, bonus scores were given to six teams who exhibited:</p>
<ol>
<li>Full and equal participation of all active team members. (Everyone involved and no rockstars. A number of teams had one or two members who were the stars, and this was not a class specific chapter. That was fine for the base score, but did not merit a bonus.</li>
<li>Both sides of the challenge were equally treated. (Some teams gave much attention to the battle, but not enough to the docking.)</li>
<li>Details and personality quirks were given full play and were engaging. Yes, we are aware this last can be subjective, but we believe reading the six entries will demonstrate our judgments very clearly.</li>
</ol>
<p>As a note: English as a first language is not a hindrance in any way, as that is also true for a part of our judging team as well. Just remember to keep your standards high in presentation.
I'll be glad to answer any and all questions for you, or forward any I can't back to the judges. I LOVED reading these, btw. You all were terrific!
