So I'm very confused. How it's written it looks like these damage points will be tallied up with our overall score. Is that right (aka luck of the draw determines score)?

BTW: seriously I'm in love with RPing now. I've never had a chance to do it before now with the preheat (nutsy) and now this (WS3)).

the ones on fairy vessels only get structural damage correct? so we (Midnight Dancers) don't get personal damage.

also does the damage relate to points (minus or positive)

Well, to be very honest, hun, I don't like random stuff, either. The difficulty here is that this round of the Squirrel adventures has a very strong element of combat to mesh with the "Firefly" aspect. Combat scenarios tend to be dicey (If you ever played D&D with actual dice rolls governing "fate", you would have been even more upset.)

What you don't know, and I wasn't ready to reveal, but I don't want you upset so I'll say a little, is that those points aren't going to come off your team's total score UNLESS YOU LET THEM. Yes, if you have the worst luck ever and you DO get the -100, you will have to do something about it on your own or with your other team members who suffered the same fate.

What will you have to do? Ah, that's a surprise--in fact, a whole package of them. Think of this adventure as an onion, lots and lots of layers. Please, have a bit of faith in me, and you might be very pleased with the outcome. wink

Right. If you have that vessel, you might owe Pugsy a favor if she had to rebuild the whole thing, but she'll think of something!

If you get plus points or no damage, do nothing, and they will be added in to your final score. If you owe Pugsy, OR if you have some medical costs, well, that's part of my planned "fun."

I guess I should laugh, but I have a friend undergoing a lot of illness, operations, and great pain, and she's an old and very dear friend, like a sister, and I guess I'm wearing down a bit and my reflexes at dodging missles are less than they should be. Thank you for the love. I need it! <3

Enough is enough

Many members of the Wayward Squirrel know me and they can tell you that I am a very tolerant person - until I'm not. They also know I may not post much on OOC threads but that doesn't mean I don't read them. And after reading this my tolerance for this kind of crap is GONE.

Why? Because accusing GreenRowan of being unfair is nothing but bull and it has got to stop. I've known her for years, she is one of my closest friends and one of the core members of my group. She is such a compassionate, caring person that when I lost my mother and she commissioned our LairBear companion to show me that I wasn't alone in my pain. We talk about everything because I know I can lean on her and vice versa. One other thing most of y'all don't know about me is I am giving and kind but I find it very difficult to trust outsiders and altho I will never meet her, I trust her explicitly. I love her like family and she feels the same about me.

GUESS WHAT. She has NEVER given me or anyone else in my team any type of special consideration, hint, clue or shown any type of bias toward me or ANYONE in my lair. Even when I've asked her what's going on, she has NEVER hinted or mentioned anyone who's upset about something or she felt was giving her a hard time either. Lucky thing, too. I would call you out by name (trust me, I'm not the only one who would, several of us have had it with this crap) Obviously I'm not nearly as tactful or forgiving as she is.

Its bad enough knowing some players think they have the right to berate the person who goes out of her way all year long collecting prizes, composing and organizing different challenges for such a complex adventure and instead of enjoying her online time spends it puts up with dozens of comments, posts and sMails but to accuse her of being unfair!? Are you @!!&%$! kidding me!?

To whomever is behind her post, I have something to say to you. Obviously this is not the RP for you. Perhaps it is you who should reconsider how things work in the world of the Wayward Squirrel and find as adventure more suiting to your needs. Like one you put together yourself so you can assure you're complete success.

Should you stay, rest assured she will not hold your accusations against her. But I highly recommend you keep them to yourself because the several others in this group are not nearly as gracious as she is. ~Laurie

Everyone knows (silver legends) is in this for the game and glory. We don't care if we score high or low as long as we come away..legend... Wait for it...ary. Legendary. We are comfortable leading the retreat. Ha-ha. Some may say it is last place (which I don't think we are but still) but we call it the first team to be able to run away when pooh hits the fan. :)

Saw the numbers list and that silver legends listed as affected. Which we already figured with the way drove. We are lucky to be alive as a team. Lol she hit anything and everything in site. Ha-ha.

People should realize that this is just a game and that everyone is playing for fun. It's not about the points or about prizes, it's about fun, playing with friends, meet with new people on the site.

I also want to add in that Rowan is one of the sweetest people I know here on subeta. Last year during WS I had a hard time, cause my grandma ended up in the hospital and passed away and she has send me so many wonderful messages to send me strenght, I will never forget that. I've been a part of WS from the start and I have loved every second of playing in it, which I have to thank Rowan for. Without her, there wouldn't even be an event to play in.

Also wanted to let you know that Team Reaver is also in a faerie vehicle, but we aren't listed among the groups in the faerie vehicle. I'm not sure if you only listed groups that were affected or if every group in a vehicle was supposed to be on there. If the last is the case, we had picked number 7. Maybe the comment was eaten by the site then LOL (Also saw the scales ;) )

I have been a member of this group since the very beginning of this event. Which means I have known Greenrowan for a number of years now. And let me make something very clear to all of you now, just because things are not going your way DO NOT attack Rowan. She has been working her fingers to the bone, for years just to make these events. Going out of her way to make every single member happy with the outcomes, and if you honestly have the gull to claim that she even remotely shows favoritism.

Then clearly you haven’t realize that your all full of pooh, I agree with everything said in her post. I am not going to be as diplomatic as she was being, because to be honest all of you people whining over a virtual game need to grow the hell up. This is meant to be fun, not something to drive a person to the brink of a nervous breakdown.

If you don’t like where you are in the standings of this event here is an idea ask politely and Rowan might come up with a way for you to gain extra points. My team hasn’t been doing great in this event and I realize that this is our fault, not the fault of Rowan. You don’t go blaming the company who makes the soup when you over heat said soup and burn yourself right? Then what gives you the right to blame GreenRown for your short comings?

So do us all a favor and just stop gripping about things that YOU can change for yourself, if not your just going to make it to where Rown won’t continue to host this event. Like I said I have been coming here for years, and every year crap like this happens each time Rowan tried to please everyone.
