I haven't battled cash shop opponents in ages. Eric used to buy them for me and I'd do the battles, then give him the achievement prizes because he always needed two of everything.

Everyone -- I'm trying to follow with this battle stuff, but I'm not much help. I don't have any of the CS challengers and none of my pets are all that strong either. If there's something else I can help with while y'all straighten things out, this is a relatively good time for me to pitch in (no classes next week!)

I can confirm that CS challengers do not and never have had random item drops. As far as Quentin quest items I think it is a nice idea but not something that has to be done RIGHT NOW. I mean, he has been giving that stuff out for a long time already, hasn't he?

TL;DR OUCH

I've finished adding in the scroll battle stuff - but its incomplete, will have to keep an eye on that. One of the battle staff said that 6 of the 8 scrolls have scaling and/or differences based on the opponents, and only 2 of the scrolls had that kind of info listed. Also the last scroll doesn't say if its infinite or once per battle. Finally one of the scrolls says "multi-use" which isn't an option in the drop down menu, so I put semi-breakable instead. I'm not even sure what they mean by "multi-use."

that's sounds...unpleasant, to say the least. I just went and read up on wound VAC and it said it could go on for months! Surgery is bad enough all on its own, but when your incisions don't heal well and things drag on, it must be so frustrating. I'm sorry you're experiencing so much pain and discomfort. I wish I could do something to help. No need to worry about TMI, I can stand to read about it if you need to talk about it. Sometimes the only relief you get is being able to complain!

, - I'll keep tracking what I get for loot drops during battling. It will be a slow process for me as I won't be battling except for weekends. I only got to it today because the little one is sick, so I was at home with her. I can slowly work on the Graveyard Shop items too (in my oodles of spare time :P)

- It's so awful that you're going through all of this. I wish that there was some way that I could actually help you! Like Lypsyl said, if you need to talk about it, vent, complain, etc., I don't mind reading. I hope that it isn't as terrible as people are leading you to believe it is. hugs

- I think Safari is a very picky browser! The Sunbeam looks okay now! I had tried doing a hard refresh earlier, but it hadn't done anything. I wonder if there are unclosed tags in the coding of any other pages and that's why I occasionally have trouble inputting things?

Thanks for doing the scroll stats! If you need info on the mod crystals they finally released, let me know and I'll grab the link that I was sent for it (I think you've got it already tho). I'll keep working on updating notes as I battle and confirm, but I'm pretty sure those are all right for the drops. I can't beat the Lady of the Waters though so I've got no clue what she drops for her 5.

Status update:

(1) There was a server crash last night. The server's back up now, but it's not configured correctly. I think the hosting provider might have upgraded some of the software on it.

(2) Currently, the forums are working but the 'main' site is throwing an SQL error.

(3) The reason that one's working and not the other, is that the main site uses an older database method called "MySQL", and the forums use a newer method called "MySQLi" (the 'i' stands for 'improved'). I've been able to verify that the server configuration (as it stands) works with the newer method but not the older one.

(4) If this were a weekday, it would probably be an easy fix to get someone there to reconfigure the server for us. Right now, they're being pretty slow about answering tickets.

Anyway, we're making progress -- I hope we'll have things up and running by the end of the night (and just as we've got new Fireside items to add!)

Thanks for the update, ! When I've been checking, the site goes back and forth between the "cannot find a server" and "my sql is not as cool as Subeta's", which I think is hilarious.

: Apparently, I was overly optimistic. If we can get the site stable to the point where the forums are working and the main side gives us the "This is our SQL error page", I believe I can take it from there, but as long as we can't even connect, then the problem is something that has to be fixed at their end.

- I am definitely getting the "cannot connect to server" message much more frequently than the "sql" message, if that helps you at all.
