yeah the accepting then offering on the trades is probably the easiest really. I'll set up a few trades in a little bit. I won't be around much this morning (going hiking yay!) but plan on spending a good chunk of my evening here. Hope to catch some of you on then :)

Edit: Before accepting any trades I'll make sure to deposit all my on hand sp into a vault so I don't get any of it mixed up!

I'm not going to be home this evening but we can sort something out tomorrow.

Gotta autoprice the shop in a minute. Last day of the GA. :c I did just buy a smidgen of CSC as part of my Black Friday preparation. The new ruby items were a very nice bonus! Not sure how I plan to use them but I'll have to think of something.

I love reading about everyone's pets. I've done more changes with my pets in the past few months than I have in years. To start, I changed serenite to a storm neela (was a GY kumos). I also had a pound-adopted zapper, illuminated, that I turned into a nuclear devonti. Most recently I created ikana as a zelda homage, and just a couple weeks ago decided to make him a nightmare ghostly.

Even more exciting for me, I found the name Furiosa free (loved the new Mad Max) and impulsively bought a pet slot to create her as a steamwork tigrean. I also target-zapped dejected to an experiment 1983, but now have decided that I want her to be a hydrus bumbus - waiting for a new quest for that.

I'm not sure what to do with the extra pet slot, and will probably pick up another for 20 mil (if I read the news correctly). Lastly, I'm looking for a new color for xynth, who is an 886. And new minions for some of them.

I'm so bad with doing anything with their TC or profiles, but have very specific ideas about all my pets in my head. But, I'd like to at least work on ikana and Furiosa a bit.

I think I'll wait until I finish up with my other quest achievements before worrying about Sarah for now. Thanks though!

I was really happy to see a site event that had pet related anything as the reward and to get a pet slot was very, very nice! I've had very limited computer time for the last couple of months (medical reasons), so I was doubly happy that I could participate without feeling like I needed to chain myself to Subeta for days on end.

I agree with what some of you were saying though...I'm due for a serious pet clean up. I need to recolor a few, change out/rename some minions and rethink TCs for a couple of them.

Hey anyone here ever been to Toronto or thereabouts? My boyfriend and I are going up there next week and are spending a few days near Niagra Falls and Toronto. We have a couple places we want to visit but didn't know if anyone knew of anything not necessarily advertised on like TripAdvisor. If it's in a nearby town that's cool too, we'll have a car :)

I lived there for a while! I'm not big on touristy stuff, but if you want to just walk around and explore, Kensington Market has a ton of great little shops and restaurants (Jumbo Empanada and Wanda's Pie in the Sky are my faves), and both the Toronto Islands and High Park (400-acre park with gardens, a little zoo, and forest trails) are gorgeous. The Toronto Zoo is nice, too, and my parents liked Casa Loma.

Going up in the CN Tower is all right if you're into that sort of thing. What I've wanted to do since they started offering it, but have not yet done, is walk around the outside of the tower.

Ohh thanks for the links, really handy! We had been undecided about Kensington Market but I've seen it mentioned several times. Plus it's like two streets away from Chinatown which I wanted to go to so we will swing by both places :) I hadn't seen High Park yet but we will definitely be making a stop there, it looks neat. Casa Loma is a maybe if we have time. Probably will be skipping the CN Tower. Just doesn't really interest either of us, though hanging off the side would probably be cool as hell.

We plan on going to St Lawrence Market, Chinatown, Kensington Market, Eaton Centre, and hopefully Little India market area. I wish we had more time to go to everywhere!

Have fun ! Toronto sounds like a lot of fun. I can't help you, my only knowledge, unfortunately, I got by watching Flashpoint.

I loved seeing all the pets everybody got. I love the name Illuminated and he is pretty!

On another topic: Are there people who do blue building quests, and if so, how much do you consider a normal amount to spend on it? I'm up at rank 120-130 and find many of them quite expensive but never really figured out what is a normal amount.

Only going to be gone 6 days sadly, I have to go back to work on Sunday. Kinda wish I could have had a long weekend extra seeing as Monday is my birthday but nope :(

Leaving at like 2am on Sunday to drive to New York, about a 9hr drive. We're gonna stop at Letchworth State Park in New York on the way through. It's supposed to be gorgeous and we want to get there early enough to enjoy it. How we are going to enjoy it while we are fighting off sleep I'll never know :P Coffee I guess!

Staying the night in Canandaigua (get a load of that name!) and going to the Sonnenberg Gardens there early next morning. We are both really excited to go there!

After the Gardens it's time to head over to the border and head to Niagra Falls on the Canada side. Spend the rest of that day and park of the next there then heading into Toronto where we will stay two nights and hopefully have time to see even half of what we want to.

Then it's a looong drive back home, just in time to return to the real world boo.

Edit: I have access to the blue building but don't ever really do the quests unless I need the points to buy a new item from there. I've never really found them profitable in the slightest. They've said they want to redo the Blue Building but I think that's fallen into the "Soon" category.

Everyone getting excited for the plot? My mind instantly went to the Reward card when I saw the grave marker icon on the forums (look here!) Looks like a really cool theme. :) Something different for a summer plot.

And home from Canada! It was quite a fun trip really, though the 10.5ish hr drive each way kinda sucked heh. It was technically about 8.5-9hrs but with stopping ever so often and border crossings it got stretched out.

We didn't end up getting time to do everything but that's okay, what we did do was pretty cool. The Sonnenberg Gardens in New York were neat though highly overrated in our opinion, we've seen better conservatives and gardens elsewhere and cheaper. They had an old restored manor there though that was pretty awesome. You could walk around and most things weren't behind glass or roped off so you could really look at the stuff.

Border crossing from US into Canada from NY was easy but tiresome since our timing was way off. We'd wanted to initially get there in the middle of the afternoon to try and avoid rush hour traffic, instead we hit smack at 5:30. The actual crossing was really straightforward (no we have no fruits or meats, we are here on vacation, no we have no weapons. Okay thanks great!). First night we stayed at Niagara Falls. We walked around that main street that first night since it was too late to see the falls and I don't know how the US side could be any more touristy then that. I've never been to the US side but it is said that it has far more tourist traps then Canada. Nearly every store there was a tourist trap hah. We got up really early the next morning and hit the falls about 7am, which was perfect. There was very few people around, mainly joggers, so we were able to just walk along and view the falls in peace and quiet and get lots of pics. They are amazing if anyone is undecided about ever visiting them. Just make sure you go first thing in the morning so you don't have to fight crowds. By the time we left, about 9am, it was starting to get rather crowded.

Next up was a short (in comparison :P ) drive to Toronto. We really didn't hit much traffic which was very nice. The city itself is so big, we only stayed in the downtown main drag area, at least I think it's the main drag anyway. Now driving through the city initially, not so bad. Parking was a nightmare.

There is NO parking anywhere. We aren't used to that. Whenever we go to largeish cities there have at least been parking garages. And I've never stayed at a hotel that didn't have onsite parking, either for free or a small fee. Niagara falls hotel charged $9 a night. This place (we stayed at the Cosmopolitan, it is a nice hotel) did not have a guest parking garage. They did offer a valet service that would park your car at their restricted parking garage for freaking $40 a night. We never even used the service since we were planning on walking everywhere anyway. I paid $80 so my car could sit for two days - ugh. There was a public parking garage we checked out before agreeing to the valet, it was slightly cheaper. However you couldn't by multiple day passes at once and the way their tickets worked was ridiculous, in our opinion. The didn't do by parked time, but rather set times on a clock. So you could park there till say 12pm, or 5pm, or a couple others. The longest time available was until 7am the next morning. So we would have had to get up extremely early just to go put more money into a machine to keep our car parked. And since it was set times like that we would have lost out on quite a bit of money on the first day since we got there so late. Rant about parking over, I don't know how you did it. Though I guess most people just walk and don't even own cars.

Onwards to the fun stuff hah. St Lawrence Market is amazing and I really really wish we had anything like it here in Indiana. There was about every different type of meat, seafood, and vegetable imaginable there. We found a guy selling kangaroo, emu, ostrich, camel, and several others. We had no way to try them there sadly and you can't bring most meats across the border :( The most exotic thing I've seen sold in Indiana was bison meat. We did have some success - we've been wanting to try real jackfruit for awhile now and we found one there :D They sold whole ones that are so very very heavy but we opted to get two pound hunk of one. We bought a cheapo knife since we knew they were really sticky and went to town. It is true what they say, it tastes almost exactly like a juicyfruit candy.

Toronto Eaton Centre Mall was up next and it was fun, but not really anything out of the norm. Kensington Market was rather eclectic and we tried a couple different restaurants there. Chinatown was very similar to other Chinatowns we've visited but we did have some delicious pork buns. Just did some general walking around touring the city in the spare time.

Then it was sadly a long drive back home. This time we drove more through Canada and went back to the states in Michigan near Detroit. Man Detroit is so run down, poor city. Border crossing this direction was about the same really, though here there were actually cops walking around and a few had guns. Canada had nothing like that. We were asked a few more questions, though we probably could have sneaked some of the meat in to be honest. We weren't even asked about food this time and we had a cooler of drinks sitting in plain view in the back seat. But I'd feel really guilty the entire time and probably make the officer suspicious heh.

All in all is was a great trip. This was the first real big vacation my and my boyfriend have had first one I've really ever planned. Didn't mess up hotels or anything and we made it back alive so I'd count it as a success :P

Edit: Wow long post is long! I'm really excited for the plot! I love the art on the card and the items that go with it and really hope it is themed around that. Also I quite like the colorless effect my HA is currently sporting and kinda hope we can buy it as an item or something later.

Yeah, parking is nuts in Toronto. I didn't have a car. I lived right on the subway line, directly across the street from High Park and literally a 30-second walk from the High Park stop, so I mostly took the subway everywhere.

Your trip sounds awesome!

The new plotty thing sounds cool, I love the chromosome, but it would be nice if the overlays were still in colour. I hope we get step 2 soon! Can't wait to find out if it is a new thing or a tie in to some earlier plot or storyline.

How is everyone doing with wizard tokens? I love the new weekly token shop, but I also need a ton for the new carnival shop. So far bluff and mallarchy pond are my favourite token for tickets exchanges.

I'm sooooooooo happy about the new Carnival Shop. I've been playing Pond every day for hours (while at work hah) for the past month+ trying to get the Balloon and Popcorn sticker. :K The pool of items must have been really dilute thanks to the balloons added. I had rubbish luck.

Doing good for wizard tokens. Sat on 14k of them. 7.5k in case I see a Possessed Bow in BHH. And the rest are just... extras I've collected. My rainy day fund!

Haha wanting to go to Ireland or New Zealand but that's a bit more involved than Canada so it will likely be a while before we get there. Nothing else is really planned, it's not often we can actually get time off together for longer than a day or two heh.

I really love the Carnival Shop too! And it actually makes the most sense out of all of them really since carnivals = raffle tickets hah. I was finally able to feed Ishka those sour lollipops hah.

Yeah I needed those lollies too.

I'm done with the stuff I need immediately but I haven't handed any over balloons, so going to save up and splurge on those for the achievements.

Also been zapping poor Economy like mad, aiming for a (chibi) 404. I swear the old v2 gave a lot more experiments. :B At least I'm crossing off some pet colour achievements for cheap.

I have been having a lot of fun with the zapper and getting the colour achievements. I'm not entirely certain what I'm zapping for. Possibly the red panda experiment. and yes, mallarchy pond is back on the at-least-daily-list. I also still want to win the background!

Still trying to figure out the rest of my pets! Has anyone made progress yet?

PS does anyone have restock tips (except patience?) Trying to restock some scroll ingredients!
